Paul did not want to continue playing these word games with this man anymore. What nonsense is he talking about? Joanna has been lying to him got the past ten years? He can deal with anything but definitely not anyone trying to talk bad about Joanna in front of him. What really did she do wrong? She had always been bullied by her family. They obviously did not care about her. Her parents died when she was going and dumped her with a family who did not care about her. She suffered so much before she got into the entertainment industry when she was just Eighteen. She struggled hard and was able to make a name for herself in five years. How can she be a bad person? What did she do to deserve all of this? "Do you even know what you are talking about? Don't you dare talk bad about Joanna if you don't know her well! You don't know how much she has sufffered or what she has been through!. You can't just talk bad about her like this. She lied to me for more than ten years? What kind of joke is this?" Paul said. Obviously he did not believe whatever Raymond said and Raymond was really starting to worry about his IQ. How can he be so stupid?
Paul paused for a while before he continued to talk to Raymond about Joanna. He really did not want to bring up these things about her. They were the most painful parts of her life but he had to tell this man these things so that he won't stop thinking the worst of Joanna. He would have been the luckiest man in Earth if he had married Joanna! But now Paul knew that no matter what, when Joanna comes back,he definitely won't let her be with this man anymore. "Do you even know how hard Joanna's life has been? Her parents died when she was young! She had to come live with her uncle and his family and they made it clear that they hated her! She had to survive in that kind of home and because of thier pressure, she was forced to leave home and make a name for herself in the entertainment industry. She worked hard for five years before she reached where she is today! So what bad things has ske done? Why do you think that I can't trust the words that she said to me and why do you think that she has been lying to me? I saw those things myself!" Paul said. He won't ever believe those things about Joanna.
Raymond shook his head in pity for Paul. He was really beginning to think that this guy's IQ was pretty non existent. Did he think that he would be touched by this pathetic story of his about Joanna's life? What a joke! It was sad that her parents died so early but she isn't the first person to suffer such things. It still does not justify all the bad things that she had done to people. That's right. He already knew all there was to Joanna. He knew that that innocent image that she was able to give everyone else wasn't true. He had already known from the very day when he met her, that this woman isn't as simple as she looks. People like her, who try to seem perfect and then hide who they really are are actually the most terrifying. Her uncle and his family were wrong in the way that they treated her but that isn't an excuse! She still did so many bad things to people! Raymond shook his head. It isn't in his place to care about the bad things that she had done. This person can believe her all that he wants, it has nothing to do with him. However, one thing had to be made clear here today, he had nothing to do with forcing Joanna to get married. He did not force her. She wanted to marry him. And Joanna definitely did not run away for that reason!
"I don't know where you got that crazy idea of me forcing Joanna to be married to me or what exactly she has told you about me but I'm going to tell you this here today. I Raymond Walker will never force a woman to be married to me! My grandfather did arrange for me to get married to her but I definitely did not want to do it! I did not want to have anything to do with that woman at all! She didn't tell you about it right? This was supposed to be a contract marriage and we were supposed to go our separate ways after it! Something happened and I was forced by my grandfather! I had to get married to her by all costs! And so I decided to get married but I knew for sure that there is no way that I was going to spend the rest of my life married to that woman! There was no way that something like that was going to happen and so I came up with that plan! She agreed to do it herself! She even said that she wanted everyone to know that she was getting married to me! Now tell me, how is that forcing her to marry me?" Raymond asked. He was angry now.
Paul shook his head. It was obvious that he was having a really hard time believing everything that he had just been told here. How can it be true? This isn't what Joanna told him at all! She told him that her uncle was forcing her to get married and that this man had told her that her career was going to he ruined by him if she doesn't do what he wants him to. So how can this....how can something like this be possible? He looked at Raymond again. This man looked like he wasn't lying to him about it. He looked like he was really serious about what he said. That he did not force Joanna. That she was a willing party. And that the marriage wasn't even real to begin with. How can this be true? How could Joanna have lied to him about this? No, it doesn't make sense! It doesn't make sense at all. Why would she make up such a lie? What will she get out of it? It doesn't seem to add up at all! Paul did not believe it or rather he did not want to believe it. He did not want to believe that everything had been a lie. "No...it's not true. I don't believe it. I don't want to believe it. How can Joanna lie about it? Why will she even lie like this? It doesn't make sense at all!" Paul said.
Raymond shook his head. He really did not have the energy to deal with this man being so sentimental. Believe it or not, it had nothing to do with him. Somehow, this man's actions reminded Raymond of his grandfather. He blindly believed Joanna too. Believed that she was such an innocent woman. However Raymond won't ever be falling for it. He knew that that woman isn't what she seems at all! He knew just how scheming she is. And he knew that she did not run away. Right now, he still did not know what had happened to her. But he suddenly had an urge to find Joanna. He wanted to know why she did the things that she did. Is she a physopath? Even Raymond found it strange. Why would she need to lie to her best friend of ten years about this? What did she get from decieving him?

He too wanted to find Joanna and get those answers from him. "I really don't care if you believe it or not. I already told you everything that happened I never forced Joanna. She was a willing party. I never intended to be married to her for long anyway. I don't know what she told you but they are all lies!" Raymond said
Paul did not say anything.he was still thinking, trying hard to accept this. Trying hard to think of why Joanna would have done this if she really did lie. Paul thought of something. If Joanna did not run away then where is she? Did something happen to her?
"Wait, if Joanna did not run away then did something happen to her? What is going on?" Mike asked. He was starting to get really worried. If she did not run away, then she is in trouble?
Raymond thought about it. He really did not like Joanna but he thought that what Paul said for once did make sense. She so much wanted to get married to him, she even came to his office to pressure him,why would she disappear on he own?
"We have to find her. No matter what, we have to find her" Raymond said. He had to find her so that she can answer all of his questions. Just what type of game is she playing with him? Does she think that she can mess around with him and just disappear? He is definitely going to find her.
Paul nodded his head. This time, he totally did agree with the man.
