Chapter 106Brian, why did you make the Dragon's Lair so big?

Brian turned to look at his own massive, silver-scaled body reflected in the ice crystal walls.

He couldn't help but imagine the shocked expression on the White Dragon Mother's face when she saw him.

A minute or two after the Dragon's Might swept past, the young white female dragon appeared in Brian's field of vision.

Since Dragon's Might was akin to a knock on the door, and Brian hadn't strictly forbidden her after sensing it, the White Dragon Mother retracted her dragon wings and landed at the edge of the Ice Cliff Dragon's Lair, walking in step by step.

Upon seeing the significantly enlarged Ice Cliff Dragon's Lair, the White Dragon Mother sneered, white frost gas puffing from her mouth.

"Brian, why did you make the Dragon's Lair so big?"

"With your small frame, don't you feel lonely in such a large space?"

The White Dragon Mother turned her head, looking around at the enlarged Dragon's Lair.

It was much bigger than when she had lived there.

Clearly, because she was focused on observing and examining the Dragon's Lair, she hadn't noticed the massive figure deep within it.

Hearing the White Dragon Mother's mocking sneer, Brian remained expressionless, slowly standing up, his dragon wings extending to either side.

As Brian moved, the light inside the Dragon's Lair dimmed significantly, and his body cast a shadow that gradually extended to the White Dragon Mother's feet.

The White Dragon Mother finally sensed something was amiss.

She looked down at the shadow extending towards her and felt the faint oppressive aura ahead, her entire body instantly stiffening.
"No way, in just five months, could this guy have gotten even stronger?" A bad suspicion arose in the White Dragon Mother's mind.

She instinctively swallowed, retracting the mocking expression on her face, and slowly lifted her head to look at the massive silver dragon deep within the Dragon's Lair.

As her gaze moved upward, the figure's outline gradually became clear. Four long, rugged dragon horns as thick as spears, powerful dragon claws that seemed capable of shaking the Earth, and a body covered in metallic silver scales... The most striking feature was the enormous twenty-meter-long dragon body!

The sixteen-meter-long White Dragon Mother used to be much larger than Brian in terms of size.

But now... she appeared petite and delicate in front of Brian.

The White Dragon Mother's eyes widened in disbelief.

Dragons primarily identify each other by their aura, and since Brian's appearance hadn't changed much—only his scale color and body size had increased significantly—she was certain that the massive dragon before her was indeed her wicked eldest son.

She instinctively gasped, staring at Brian with a shocked yet numb expression, "This can't be real, Brian, did you learn illusion spells?"

The White Dragon Mother, deceiving herself, brightened at this thought, baring her dragon teeth and loudly speaking in Draconic, "Don't cast illusions on me!"

Dragon's Might erupted as the White Dragon Mother shook her head, trying to dispel what she believed to be Brian's 'illusion.'

Brian watched her go mad in silence, feeling quite amused.

It wasn't until the White Dragon Mother realized she wasn't under an illusion and that what she saw was real that Brian, seeing her regain some composure, softly asked, "Salia, what are you doing here?"

"If I remember correctly, I told you last time that coming to my territory comes at a cost."

The White Dragon Mother seemed not to hear Brian's words. She stared at him blankly, as if she had thought of something, and suddenly raised her voice in excitement, "I knew it, I knew it!"

Brian looked at the White Dragon Mother, who seemed a bit deranged from the shock, and frowned.

"What do you know?"

Could it be that this dumb dragon suddenly realized he was a Time Dragon?

The White Dragon Mother laughed heartily, then looked at Brian with a determined gaze, saying firmly, "Brian, you are definitely not my offspring!"

Brian's expression turned strange, speechless.

He had overestimated her; the dumb dragon wouldn't suddenly become enlightened.

"What are you talking about?"

Brian had no idea where the White Dragon Mother's strange notion came from.

The White Dragon Mother thought for a moment, as if recalling something unpleasant, and said through gritted teeth, "There was a despicable crystal dragon who sneaked into my Dragon's Lair while I was away, intending to steal my dragon egg."

"I thought I had returned in time and thwarted her plan."

"But now it seems that wasn't the case."

Brian: ...

He didn't know what to say for a moment.

The White Dragon Mother grew more excited as she spoke, continuing, "No white dragon looks like you. You grow so fast, and now you have these silver scales and beautiful dragon horns... I've never seen a white dragon like you."

"Even if you were a variant white dragon, you shouldn't have such drastic changes."

Pausing, the White Dragon Mother, feeling very clever, finally concluded with excitement in her voice.

"So, it must be that crystal dragon who swapped my dragon egg."

"Brian, you are not my offspring; we have no blood relation!"
