Chapter: 186 War, War!

Brian remained silent, gazing in the direction of the Ironstone Line.

Suddenly, a rolling Dragon's Might, like a hurricane, pressed the grass below almost flat to the ground, then roared towards the Ironstone Line ahead.

The red dragon's Dragon's Might followed closely, intertwining with it, creating an overwhelming and soul-stirring force.

However, before the Dragon's Might could spread to the Ironstone Line, three massive figures suddenly rose from behind it, emitting equally astonishing Dragon's Might. Like a tangible storm, it spread through the air, colliding with the Dragon's Might of Brian and Roger, creating ripples in the air.

Roar!

Three high-pitched dragon roars echoed one after another.

In Brian's vision appeared three True Dragons, all of colossal size.

The most striking was an enormous red dragon, twenty-one meters long, with bright red scales that looked as if they were forged from flames, its entire body resembling a massive fireball.

As for the other two True Dragons, one was a green dragon, and the other a black dragon.

The smallest black dragon, just eighteen meters long, had scales clinging tightly to its flesh, looking skeletal and barely reaching the threshold of colossal size.

The green dragon, covered in emerald green scales, looked like it was made of sparkling jade.

With the appearance of the three True Dragons from the Dimor faction, a subtle silence fell over the Golden Alliance army, and a look of unease appeared on some soldiers' faces.

The combat power of an ordinary adult True Dragon might only be equivalent to a high-level Spellcaster, but the legends and deeds of True Dragons were deeply ingrained, making their deterrent power far exceed that of high-level Spellcasters.

At the same time, the Dragon's Might from both sides clashed and intertwined, like two hurricanes colliding, making the air in between chaotic.

"Hey, they also brought True Dragons to assist in the battle," Roger said, his dragon face showing no surprise, indicating he had encountered similar situations many times before.

Then, he took a deep breath and let out a deafening roar.

The Dragon's Might emanating from the red dragon surged.

Brian, not as flamboyant as Roger, remained calm and simultaneously increased the output of his Dragon's Might.

The silver dragon and the red dragon, though outnumbered by one, had a stronger Dragon's Might due to Brian's presence, with a large amount of residual force rushing towards the Ironstone Line.

Boom!

The Dimor soldiers affected by the Dragon's Might instantly had their minds go blank, their eyes vacant, and their pupils lost focus.

Nearby Spellcasters hurriedly cast various spells.

Mind Shield.

Boost Morale.

Anti-Dragon Aura.

...

The terrifying effect of Dragon's Might on ordinary beings weakened under the multiple protections of the Spellcasters, and many soldiers' eyes regained clarity.

But even so, the lingering fear in their eyes was still evident.

Seizing the moment, General Koverdale raised his great sword, and a thunderous shout came from beneath his fully covered metal helmet: "For the future of humanity, Golden Alliance Army, attack!"

Boom!

The Earth trembled for a moment.

The Golden Alliance army moved from stillness to motion, transforming into a golden tidal wave, surging towards the Ironstone Line like a tsunami.

The spear and shield knight regiment from the Duchy of Alva charged at the forefront, their brass iron bull mounts trampling the Earth, advancing with unstoppable momentum.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Amidst the sound of breaking air, there were strange noises that sounded like a mix of eagle screeches and lion roars. Thousands of griffin riders from the Duchy of Norton took to the sky, their griffins spreading their wings wide and letting out sharp cries.

...

Facing the ferocious assault of the Golden Alliance army, the Dimor defenders quickly responded.

On the city walls, the menacing heavy crossbows were pulled back by several people, loaded with large, sharp, spear-like enchanted bolts, and then suddenly fired.

Boom!

The large bolts streaked through the air, leaving dangerous white trails, and fell into the Golden Alliance army like missiles.

Swoosh!

Some spear and shield knights raised their shields to block, but the metal shields shattered instantly, and the knights were pierced through by the large bolts.

Bang!

A violent explosion sounded as the enchanted bolts exploded, creating shockwaves with a diameter of about ten meters, sending many knights and accompanying soldiers flying high into the air before crashing heavily to the ground.

Some enchanted bolts were aimed at the griffin riders in the sky, but the agile griffins, along with the powerful knights, managed to block or evade them, with only a few being shot down.

Bolts rained down, causing rapid casualties among the ground forces of the Golden Alliance army.

However, given their vast numbers, the losses were still just a drop in the bucket, and they continued to press towards the Ironstone Line.

High in the sky, the five True Dragons had tacitly flown to the six-kilometer-high cloud layer.

In the biting wind, they half-heartedly threw some minor spells at each other while watching the brutal war below like spectators.

The red dragon from the Dimor faction was a female, muscular and stout. By Brian's standards, she wasn't very appealing, but Roger seemed quite taken with her, his eyes glowing as he kept glancing at her.

The female red dragon ignored Roger's gaze and stared fiercely at Brian.

"A silver dragon, accepting a commission to participate in human wars," she said. "And fighting alongside a red dragon, no less. This would be quite the scandal if other metallic dragons found out."

Though her voice carried hostility towards Brian, the female red dragon casually spewed a crooked Dragon's Breath of flames into the air, not actually attacking.

Brian remained unfazed, similarly spitting out a Frost Breath that missed its mark.

He ignored the female red dragon's slightly provocative words, instead looking down to observe the war between the Golden Alliance army and the Dimor defenders.

Feeling slighted, the female red dragon glared at Brian with a hint of anger.

She opened her mouth, ready to launch a real attack.

But before she could act, Roger, no longer bothering to pretend, shamelessly moved closer to her with a grin and said, "Before you stands the mighty Lord of the Volcano, Ashen Wing, the great red dragon Roger."

"Beautiful red dragon lady, would you be interested in becoming my mate?"

True Dragons' courtship was always straightforward; if they were interested, they would directly express their feelings without any pretense.

The female red dragon's attention was drawn to Roger, shifting her gaze from Brian to him.

The black dragon and green dragon beside her exchanged glances and then watched with interest.

Brian hadn't expected Roger to suddenly court the female red dragon. Hearing his words, he couldn't help but shift his gaze between Roger and the female red dragon.

The scene was somewhat comical.

Below, human armies were fighting fiercely, with countless lives lost every moment.

Meanwhile, the True Dragons they had paid handsomely to assist were slacking off in the sky, with one even courting an enemy True Dragon.
