Chapter: 173 This is What a Dragon Should Do
Mocha Principality, Vixen City.
In the sky above the massive city that gradually rises from the outside in, a colossal silver dragon and a crimson red dragon fly one after the other, carrying an awe-inspiring presence and stirring up fierce winds.
The current time is around 7 AM.
On the streets below, many early risers and vendors are already bustling about for their livelihood.
The two True Dragons swept across the sky, their dragon wings blocking the faint morning light, casting shadows that enveloped large swathes of low houses and street pedestrians.
The citizens of Vixen City looked up, their hearts trembling at the sight of the powerful True Dragons.
Because the red dragon had come here to plunder many times, they were not unfamiliar with its figure. However, no matter how many times they saw it, they couldn't help but feel an uncontrollable awe.
Especially now, not only had the red dragon come, but there was also a majestic and agile silver dragon in front of it, whose presence completely overshadowed the red dragon.
"It's the great Eternal Dragon, our powerful and beautiful guardian True Dragon!"
When Brian went to the Carol Mountains, Grand Duke Thorn widely announced that the Mocha Principality had received the protection of a True Dragon. He also held a grand banquet and sent out invitations to the high officials of other principalities to celebrate this event.
"Rejoice, the Eternal Dragon has subdued the Ashen Wing that spread calamity, bringing peace and tranquility to the citizens of Mocha Principality."
A bard, gazing at the trajectory of the silver dragon, murmured to himself.
Meanwhile, some people, with fanatical expressions, followed the path of the True Dragon, running until they were exhausted before stopping. Others, filled with fear, hid by the walls, afraid of attracting the True Dragon's attention...
"Hmph, these ant-like humans actually sought you to deal with me. Despicable, shameless, they should be turned to ashes by Dragon's Breath, and the city should be engulfed in flames."
A trace of ferocity flashed across the face of the red dragon flying behind Brian. The Evil Dragon complained first, accusing the humans of their actions.
Brian turned his head and gave it a warning look.
Roger's face stiffened, realizing he had misspoken. He then forced a smile and quickly changed his tone, "But it's fortunate they found you, otherwise I wouldn't have the honor of serving you."
He ground his teeth and looked down at the humans below.
"What a bunch of adorable little things."
Brian withdrew his gaze, folded his dragon wings, and descended towards the inner city where Grand Duke Thorn resided, with the red dragon following behind him.
Grand Duke Thorn had gathered spellcasters and skilled craftsmen to work through the night, creating a massive platform on one side of the inner city to accommodate the arrival of the True Dragon. Next to the platform, he had set up posts with over twenty pure and beautiful maidens waiting.
Their only task was to obey Brian's commands and do their best to satisfy the Eternal Dragon's every need.
Even if it meant using their lives to please him, these maids, trained from a young age, would do so without hesitation.
Brian wouldn't stay long in Vixen City, but Grand Duke Thorn insisted on this to show his respect and honor towards Brian.
However, in Brian's view, Grand Duke Thorn's main purpose was to inform other nations that the Mocha Principality had the protection of a True Dragon, and they were doing their utmost to maintain this protective relationship.
The deal with the Mocha Principality was merely to let them use Brian's name.
Grand Duke Thorn believed that by treating Brian with sincerity, in times of great crisis for the Mocha Principality, they might receive Brian's compassionate aid. Therefore, he spared no effort in fostering a good relationship with Brian in every possible way.
