Chapter 89 Rampage
A gust of wind blew.
The tall, heavily armored knight chief, realizing Brian's target was Copperfield, abandoned Salia and rushed towards Brian with wind-like speed.
Rosha grabbed Copperfield and, as the Explosive Fireball detonated, hurled him out of its range.
He was engulfed by the flames.
Seeing this, Brian didn't hesitate to cast Accelerated Fireball, disregarding the magic consumption, sending seemingly harmless small fireballs into the firestorm.
Other spellcasters attacked Brian, trying to aid Rosha.
But lower-rank spells, regardless of type, only left minor scratches on Brian's scales, unable to even crack them.
The all-attribute magic immunity of the Time Dragon showed its formidable effect for the first time.
Brian perfectly dodged the middle-rank spells through Acceleration State.
The ground trembled with a series of explosions, the blizzard twisting and flying upwards due to the heat, turning the snow-covered world into a fiery red.
At the same time, the flames twisted, as if a fierce beast was about to break free.
The flames were split by the sharp wind from a magical greatsword, forming a path. Rosha, engulfed in flames, leaped out.
The high-grade runic heavy armor awarded by Thorn Grand Duke was now covered in red marks, emitting white smoke in the cold air.
The runes engraved on it had completely dimmed.
Rosha lifted his head, tearing off his metal helmet, throwing the now-useless runic heavy armor onto the charred ground.
With a cold gaze, he locked eyes with Brian, holding his magical greatsword diagonally, his steel-like muscles bulging as he advanced towards Brian.
This previously dangerous figure, now revealed, made Brian pause slightly.
His appearance was somewhat ugly, with a face full of rough features, dark skin, a large nose, and no hair, looking like a notorious villain. Yet, the cold and ruthless look in his eyes couldn't be ignored.
As he ran toward Brian, a blood-red glow appeared on his skin, his eyes filled with uncontrollable rage, and he let out low growls.
After this change, his running speed surged.
Brian's eyes narrowed, realizing Rosha's state.
It had a well-known name.
Berserk.
Creatures in a berserk state gained massive boosts in physical attributes, strength, speed, reaction, and resistance in a short time, at the cost of losing rationality and suffering severe weakness afterwards.
"This physique and appearance don't look like a regular human, perhaps a half-orc or barbarian hybrid," Brian frowned.
He shot a few Accelerated Fireballs, which Rosha dodged with an ugly but practical instinct, only slowing his steps slightly.
Seeing Rosha's determined gaze fixed on him, Brian decided to confront him.
Warriors were simpler to deal with than spellcasters of the same level with varied means.
On the other side of the battlefield, without Rosha's restraint, Salia quickly regained her ferocity, rampaging through the human army. With Brian's followers involved, the battlefield became chaotic, making it hard for the heavily armored knights to form an encirclement, allowing Salia to wreak havoc.
Even as the shame of True Dragons, a white dragon was still a formidable opponent compared to other creatures.
Copperfield, severely injured, began coordinating with other spellcasters to restrain Salia again.
An unchecked adult dragon was too destructive to be ignored.
Meanwhile, before Brian could face Rosha head-on, the ferocious frost tiger, seeing Rosha charging at Brian, let out an angry roar and leaped through the chaotic battlefield, pouncing on Rosha from the side.
The feline Savage Beast's speed was like lightning, which caught Rosha off guard and pinned him to the ground.
The frost tiger's claws pressed on Rosha, its steel-like talons extending, ready to rip open his chest and abdomen.
But the berserk Rosha wasn't a pushover. A deep growl emanated from his six-foot-tall body, and with a burst of strength, he slowly lifted the frost tiger's claw amidst its defiant roars.
Rosha rolled aside, dodging another swipe, and his magical greatsword glowed sharply as he slashed at the frost tiger's throat.
The agile frost tiger leaped back, a cut appearing on its neck, causing it to growl fiercely in pain.
If Rosha had the same size as the frost tiger, this slash could have decapitated the frost tiger. Unfortunately, he didn't, so it was just a minor wound.
The injured agile frost tiger, unwilling to back down, pounced again. Rosha couldn't ignore it and had to engage in a fierce battle.
Man and tiger clashed.
Brian, seeing the frost tiger's strong fighting spirit against Rosha, refrained from using spells to avoid harming it. Instead, he used Accelerated Fireball or Explosive Fireball, combining with spell scrolls, to precisely target and kill the enemy spellcasters.
His accelerated spells were too quick for most enemies to react to.
With fewer spellcasters in the human army, it became harder to defend against the Arctic Ice Spirits' overwhelming frost spells, increasing the casualties among the heavily armored knights.
Copperfield, anxious and in pain, cast spells despite worsening his injuries, trying to manage both Salia and the Arctic Ice Spirits, overwhelmed.
This situation was mainly due to Brian's earlier attack, and now Copperfield had to bear the consequences.
The scales of victory were tipping in Brian's favor.
He could even spare attention to the battle between Rosha and the frost tiger.
A Savage Beast and a berserk warrior fought with incredible ferocity.
Few dared to approach them, and those who did were torn apart or sliced into pieces.
The magical greatsword cut through the wind and snow relentlessly, while the frost tiger's claws, though cutting through scales and muscle, left nearly bone-deep wounds.
The frost tiger grew more frenzied from its injuries, but its attacks couldn't hit the agile Rosha and couldn't withstand his damage. In just two minutes, it was covered in wounds and blood, while Rosha remained relatively unscathed.
Continuing the fight, the frost tiger risked death.
Seeing his top follower struggling, Brian couldn't remain idle.
Dragon's Might erupted, sweeping over both Rosha and the frost tiger. The berserk Rosha was barely affected, turning his crazed gaze back to Brian.
The frost tiger, sensing the will within Dragon's Might, reluctantly roared at Rosha before leaping away, shifting its focus to attacking spellcasters like Brian.
Though not as efficient as Brian, the frost tiger still caused significant trouble, acting like an assassin and forcing enemy spellcasters to divert much attention to defend against its attacks.
