Chapter 76 Luna
The tiger roared deafeningly, and Brian felt the eager anticipation in the Savage Frost Tiger's call.
"Still as brave as ever."
Brian nodded with satisfaction.
Savage Beasts inherently possessed a higher resistance to supernatural abilities like Dragon's Might compared to typical Magical Creatures. Through dragon bloodline transformation, the effects of Dragon's Might from the other dragons on the Savage Frost Tiger were minimal.
Simultaneously, Brian departed from the Dragon's Lair, emerging beneath the thick, dark clouds.
Torrential rain poured down from the sky onto Brian's dragon scales, accompanied by a faint patter, turning into glistening droplets.
The mirror-like white dragon scales reflected the scenery of the northernmost Ice Field in the rain, mirroring a fair-skinned, blonde woman.
Brian hung suspended mid-air, gently adjusting his Dragon Wings to shake off the rainwater cascading over his body.
Scanning the woman before him, a hint of wariness appeared in Brian's eyes.
Despite the downpour, the raindrops seemed to avoid her, leaving her untouched and dry.
Her radiant, cascading golden hair shimmered like a waterfall, and her exposed skin was milky white, almost glowing.
She possessed an exquisite beauty, with finely chiseled features, silver-white eyes, long eyelashes, and full cherry lips, exuding an enchanting aura of a young human woman. Draped in a white lace dress adorned with a silver necklace and delicate earrings, she emanated elegance and grace.
However, beneath this deceptively benign exterior, Brian could feel a Dragon's Might far surpassing that of Salia.
This was an adult True Dragon in human form, and it was not an ordinary one.
Brian's eyes grew vigilant. After a moment’s thought, he spoke in a deep voice. "Salia is not here; this Territory is now under my control."
On the other side, the True Dragon in human form eyed Brian with confusion, seemingly trying to discern what kind of dragon he was.
A white dragon?
But white dragons didn't have dragon horns.
Moreover, his physique was far more robust than the white dragon. Despite his Young Dragon form, his scales were as pristine as those of a newborn dragon, as if untouched by the ravages of time.
"If Salia isn't here; then you must be the one I seek."
She spoke with an elegant tone and devoid of malice.
After a brief pause, she flashed a friendly smile and spoke in a melodious voice. "As fellow True Dragons, won't you invite me in? I have matters to discuss, and it's pouring outside."
Not here for Salia... Brian thought of the pair of kids seeking refuge with the old Mage’s acquaintance.
This enigmatic True Dragon was likely that acquaintance.
Brian's vigilance lessened.
Bound by the oath, Bound by the oath, she wouldn't harm him unless she wished for those kids' demise.
For she'd learned of his presence through those kids, indirectly falling under the oath's influence.
Moreover, her display of Dragon's Might here signaled neither war nor provocation, but a polite announcement of her arrival to the Territory's owner.
To silently intrude with concealed Dragon's Might would be an act of aggression.
Seeing Brian, she retracted her Dragon's Might, allowing the frightened subordinates within the Territory to gradually calm down.
"We can discuss matters here."
Brian said calmly.
She seemed momentarily surprised but then smiled softly, unaffected by Brian's cold demeanor. "I come in peace; there's no need for caution."
After a moment’s contemplation, Brian said, "If that's the case, reveal your true form."
Though he had guessed but still needed to certain.
Knowing what kind of dragon, she was would enable him to deal with her appropriately, regardless of her intentions.
She complied, her dragon presence intensifying.
Radiant light enveloped her, transforming her attire into silver-white dragon scales. Dragon Wings sprouted from her back, accompanied by sharp Claws and a long dragon tail...
In an instant, a silver dragon, as if crafted from pure metal, its scales gleaming brightly, stood before Brian.
She bore bright silver facial armor, wide Dragon Wings, two smooth and shiny small dragon horns, and raised silver frills extending from her dragon head all the way to the very end of her dragon tail.
Indeed, a silver dragon... Brian gazed at the silvery dragon, sensing the powerful aura it emanated.
This adult silver dragon, sixty-three feet long, was a formidable True Dragon, visually striking and imposing.
'If it comes to a fight, I'd probably lose to her... much stronger than Salia.' Brian contemplated.
Aside from the rare Seven-Ring Spell Scroll, his offensive capabilities were insufficient against an adult silver dragon, even with his mastery of Time Magic.
With her size, a single blow could tip the scales in her favor.
Among the fifteen common True Dragons on the Prime Material Plane, the red dragons were the mightiest among the chromatic dragons, gold dragon among metallic dragons, and amethyst dragon among gemstone dragons.
Ranking them placed gold dragons at the pinnacle, undoubtedly the strongest.
Silver dragons and red dragons had comparable power at the same age, equivalent to senior white dragons over four centuries old... no wonder white dragons were dubbed the disgrace of dragons.
Furthermore, every gold dragon was under Bahamut's watchful eye, the god of good dragons. During divine visits, Bahamut often brought gold dragon hatchlings, fiercely protective of them.
Though to a lesser extent, Bahamut's attention also extended significantly to silver dragons.
Both gold and silver dragons were formidable adversaries, not only due to their inherent strength but their unity in numbers, often rallying allies, possibly even drawing the dragon god's avatar.
However, metallic dragons were gentle and kind, with gold and silver dragons being paragons, often aiding weaker creatures, embodying true saints, unlike Pseudo-Saints.
They rarely initiated attacks, preferring negotiations unless confronted grave malevolent entities.
Brian didn't consider himself deeply wicked.
He had his principles—neither kind nor
A truly wicked dragon would never let those kids leave the Evil Dragon's Territory unscathed.
Softly, she said, "You may call me Luna."
The silver dragon Luna maintained a respectful distance, demonstrating her non-hostile intent.
She had shown ample goodwill, prompting Brian to agree. "Come in."
He led her back into the Dragon's Lair, with Luna following closely. As she approached the lair's edge, light enveloped her once more, transforming her back into human form.
