Chapter 107 The Dragon and the Giant

"Brian, you are not my descendant; there is no blood relation between us!"

Listening to White Dragon Mother's firm words, Brian felt speechless.

If he had heard her words for the first time and hadn't reacted immediately, he might have believed her. However, Brian had long known from Luna about the crystal dragon egg theft.

He had even wondered if he might not be a white dragon variant.

But no matter how he thought about it, or how resolute White Dragon Mother's thoughts were, it couldn't change the fact that Brian indeed had white dragon blood.

Not to mention his ability to use Frost Breath and Cloud Fog Technique, Brian's pure white mirror-like scales at birth, lack of dragon horns, and the black scales around his neck, along with his slightly larger physique compared to a typical white dragon Newborn Dragon, left no other differences.

Moreover, his aura was indeed similar to White Dragon Mother's, indicating a common origin.

"How much does White Dragon Mother have to deny reality to believe such baseless thoughts herself?"

Brian looked sympathetically at the still excited White Dragon Mother.

He could actually understand White Dragon Mother's feelings.

Being defeated and robbed by her eldest son was one thing, but the key point was that this eldest son was a Newborn Dragon!

An Adult Dragon being beaten by a Newborn Dragon.

Such an event was an utter humiliation for her, and one she couldn't avenge. Given Brian's growth rate, from the moment he surpassed White Dragon Mother, it meant she would never be his match again.

In such a humiliating state of mind, it was acceptable to come up with a self-deceiving reason.

Although she was still beaten, at least it wasn't by her own offspring, a situation she could accept more easily.

"Brian, think about it yourself, where are we similar?"

"You are not a white dragon at all; how could you have any blood relation with me?"

White Dragon Mother repeated her conclusion, as if to convince herself further, while looking at Brian expectantly, waiting for his response.

Brian gently shook his head and replied calmly, "If that's what you want to think, then think that way."

"Whether we have a blood relation or not is not something worth exploring; it won't have much impact on either of us."

Brian didn't really care what White Dragon Mother thought.

After all, there was no familial affection between them.

A mature soul that had traveled here, coupled with White Dragon Mother's routine indifference and cold expulsion, would never foster any familial feelings in him.

On the other hand, White Dragon Mother didn't care whether Brian believed her or not.
Her face showed a relieved expression, as if a long-standing knot in her heart had been untied, and the entire dragon suddenly felt much lighter.

"Looks like you know what I'm saying is true."

White Dragon Mother, a bit elated, thought for a moment and then suggested to Brian, "If you want to find out about your origins, you can ask that damned crystal dragon where she stole you from. You might be a descendant of a silver dragon."

At this point, she snorted coldly and said, "A thief who steals eggs is a disgrace to all True Dragons. Crystal dragons should be removed from the ranks of True Dragons!"

Is it really okay for a white dragon, the disgrace of True Dragons, to say that?

Brian couldn't help but think sarcastically.

"Next time I see her, I will definitely teach her a lesson for swapping my Dragon Egg!"

White Dragon Mother had completely convinced herself of her guess. Brian didn't want to get entangled in this topic any further and said directly, "If it makes you happy, you can go trouble her yourself."

"But I'm not interested in this, so don't bother telling me what you're going to do."

White Dragon Mother licked her lips and said, "Brian, don't you want to know your true origins at all? You might have silver dragon parents."

Brian impatiently said, "Let's drop this matter. Don't bring it up again."

His claws moved slightly, leaving deep scratches on the icy ground. With a serious expression, he said, "Otherwise, don't blame me for being rude."

Seeing White Dragon Mother's excited demeanor, Brian knew that if he didn't threaten her a bit, she would keep bothering him.

In front of the gigantic Brian, the petite White Dragon Mother instinctively took a step back, then said in an annoyed tone, "Got it. If you really have silver dragon elders, they would be disappointed in your character."

Meaning, Brian didn't have any of the gentleness and kindness of a metallic dragon.

Brian resisted the urge to beat White Dragon Mother again.

He calmed himself and asked in a deep voice, "Salia, you didn't come here just to tell me this news, did you? If you have nothing else, you can leave. I have my own matters to attend to and no time to chat with you."

He was on the verge of inscribing the magma fireball, and this was a critical moment. He had no time to waste with White Dragon Mother.

White Dragon Mother gave Brian a peculiar look, her gaze mainly focused on his dragon horns and strong body. When Brian was about to lose his patience, she snapped out of it and said in a clear voice, "I came to propose a collaboration. Are you interested in robbing some good stuff?"

Brian's expression remained unchanged as he said, "Be clear. What do you want to do?"
