Chapter: 164 Ice and Fire
They had similar strength at the same age, but silver dragons hated the evil of red dragons and often stood up for countries ravaged by red dragons, driving them away. Red dragons, on the other hand, loathed the meddling, righteous silver dragons.
Worse still, silver dragons had many friends and liked to gang up on others, often leaving red dragons at a disadvantage, getting beaten up in groups.
This led to red dragons attacking lone, weaker silver dragons in the wild to vent their frustration.
Yes, just to vent their frustration.
Different types of True Dragons constantly fought among themselves, disliking each other. However, battles between True Dragons rarely resulted in death unless there was a deep-seated grudge. They would just beat each other up, and if it was an Evil Dragon, it might even enslave the other for a while.
"Damn silver dragon, get your filthy claws off my minion!"
Roger roared, flapping his Dragon Wings fiercely, his body diving down from the sky like a blazing fire.
Brian lifted his head, the image of the approaching red dragon reflected in his platinum Dragon's Eyes.
The red dragon was twenty-two meters long, with crimson Dragon's Eyes and a pair of imposing dragon horns above its faceplate.
The red dragon carried a scorching aura, and as its Dragon Wings flapped violently, it seemed to spark faint embers in the surrounding air.
Metallic crimson scales were embedded on its robust dragon body, making it look like a massive, raging Flame, as if a meteor of Flame had descended from the sky, creating an imposing spectacle.
With its sturdy limbs and powerful dragon tail, the muscles beneath the red dragon's scales were highly developed, making it the most robust creature Brian had ever seen.
"No wonder it's the most powerful of the five-colored Evil Dragons. Just barely an adult, and it already has such a massive size."
Among ordinary True Dragons, the red dragon was the largest.
Brian could discern the age of creatures; he knew the red dragon before him was just a few months shy of adulthood. This short time meant it could already be considered an adult red dragon.
Compared to the white dragon, which only reached a massive size at over two hundred years old, the red dragon could grow to a massive size by fifty. A red dragon of the same age fighting a white dragon was like an adult fighting a child—a significant disparity.
In mid-air, after approaching Brian, the red dragon took a deep breath and, without a word, opened its dragon mouth.
Blinding Flame rolled and surged between its interlocking fangs.
Whoosh!
The Flame Dragon's Breath, carrying a searing heat, pushed through the air and blasted towards Brian.
Brian squinted his eyes and opened his dragon mouth as well.
An icy blue Frost Breath shot out, not to be outdone, colliding heavily with the Flame Dragon's Breath.
Boom!
The surrounding space turned into a mix of fiery red and icy blue.
The two Dragon's Breaths clashed, creating rising hot steam and intense explosions at the point of contact. Ring-shaped shockwaves swept through the area, causing the red dragon's minions to panic and quickly retreat.
A troll wizard, eyeing the red dragon and the silver dragon locked in a breath battle, raised its staff and aimed at Brian.
But before it could cast a spell, a whistling wind sound suddenly reached its ears.
Its vision was instantly filled with a silver streak of light.
Bang!
The troll wizard was struck by Brian's dragon tail, its body sent flying by the immense force, with no chance to resist. It rolled hundreds of meters on the ground, its skin torn, exposing pale bones in some places.
The troll's powerful regenerative ability allowed its wounds to heal visibly, but it was already too weak to pick up its staff again in a short time.
"Trying to cast a spell so close to me."
Brian shook his head slightly, then focused on spewing Dragon's Breath.
He realized his Frost Breath was not weaker than the red dragon's Flame Dragon's Breath.
Logically, it should have been weaker.
The white dragon's bloodline seemed to have been enhanced, perhaps due to the influence of the Time Dragon's constitution, unknowingly strengthening it significantly.
The red dragon, holding its breath, forcefully spewed Flame, trying to overpower Brian's Dragon's Breath and engulf him in Flame.
But its attempt was futile.
Similarly, the Frost Breath couldn't suppress the Flame Dragon's Breath either. The two remained in a stalemate until both the red dragon and Brian felt their throats ache and stopped their breath battle.
Mistaking Brian for a silver dragon, the red dragon wasn't surprised it didn't gain the upper hand in the Dragon's Breath clash, as the breath power of red and silver dragons was comparable.
"You despicable silver dragon, invading my Territory while I was away."
"I'll make you taste the might of the great Ashen Wing!"
