Chapter 57 Crushing Blow
The fifty-foot-long White Dragon Mother moved like a dragon-shaped fighter jet, bringing howling winds and violent power.
The White Dragon Mother was stronger than Brian.
At her age, pseudo-magical abilities were merely a supplement; her primary combat method relied on her powerful True Dragon physique. Her claws and teeth served as her most formidable weapons.
White Dragons were at the bottom among all True Dragons, but they had their advantages.
Living in the icy climates of the Ice Field, White Dragons had wider and sharper claws compared to other dragons. With these claws, they could navigate slippery ice effortlessly and, once they captured their prey, they could effortlessly tear through flesh and pierce bones.
Additionally, White Dragons were less intelligent than other dragons who often acted on animalistic instincts.
But it was beneficial that this animal instinct made White Dragons natural hunters.
If they were able to detect their opponent's vulnerability and gain an advantage in battle, the threat posed by a White Dragon would significantly escalate.
At this moment, the White Dragon Mother who was determined to teach her eldest son a lesson, had almost completely extinguished the anger in her gaze. In her pale yellow Dragon's Eyes, there was an indifferent expression, observing every move of Brian.
Witnessing the White Dragon Mother in this state sent a chill down Brian's spine, as he realized she had set aside her pride and was prepared to engage in a fierce battle with her son.
As the White Dragon Mother made a move towards him, Brian swiftly ascended, turned, and began to circle around her.
Like a straight white line, he shot upwards, then pierced through the snowstorm, drawing an arc, moving from in front of the White Dragon Mother to behind her quickly.
The White Dragon Mother quickly turned, her gaze locked on Brian.
At the same time, Brian unleashed a Frost Breath towards the White Dragon Mother's wings.
But this time, Brian's old trick didn't work. As the Frost Breath neared, the White Dragon Mother's instinctive combat reflexes allowed her to narrowly dodge it.
Having suffered once, the White Dragon Mother was now wary.
She evaded Brian's Dragon's Breath and, in turn, opened her mouth, conjuring a dazzling icy blue light that caused the surrounding temperature to drop.
Moments later, a denser and lengthier Frost Breath erupted from the White Dragon Mother's mouth.
A wide Dragon's Breath covered Brian like a blanket.
Dragon's Breath was fast, the most threatening attack of a dragon. Even with Brian's fivefold speed, it couldn't outpace the Dragon's Breath.
"Much stronger than my Frost Breath... as expected of a near-adult dragon."
Seeing the icy blue light in his vision, Brian thought to himself.
With swift and agile movements, he dodged sideways.
Simultaneously, the White Dragon Mother swiftly turned her neck, unleashing her wide-range Frost Breath that pursued Brian, creating large patches of bone-chilling ice crystals in the air and restricting Brian's movements.
As he noticed the White Dragon Mother and her Frost Breath approaching, Brian abruptly halted. Instead of backing away, he turned and descended, nearly brushing against the Frost Breath as he moved towards the White Dragon Mother.
Seeing Brian's puzzling move, the White Dragon Mother looked confused, and Brian grinned at her.
In the next moment, as the White Dragon Mother turned her neck, preparing to unleash her Frost Breath upon Brian at close range, an invisible wave erupted from Brian, spreading in all directions.
Time Stop!
Instantly, within a sixty-foot radius centered on Brian, time stopped.
At the edge of the time-stopped area, the White Dragon Mother was frozen mid-air, with snowflakes and howling winds ceasing to move. The Frost Breath, with its icy blue trail, also came to a standstill.
Brian could discern each sharp Ice Crystal within the Frost Breath, experiencing its intense cold up close.
The White Dragon Mother now looked like a white statue, her face still showing confusion.
The time-stopped scene looked surreal like a dream rather than reality. Although it was his second time seeing it, Brian was still amazed by the power of this ability.
Due to the high temporal power consumption of Time Stop, Brian didn't have time to admire the scene.
As he gazed at the time-stopped White Dragon Mother, a bold idea sprang to mind, causing him to grin fiercely.
Without hesitation, Brian sprinted towards the White Dragon Mother's back.
In the next instant, time resumed.
In the howling wind, the White Dragon Mother blinked, turning her head with confusion. Time Stop stopped her Dragon's Breath attack.
Suddenly, she heard the flapping of Dragon Wings right behind her.
The sound was so close, almost touching her.
The White Dragon Mother was shocked.
She didn't understand how Brian had vanished from her sight and appeared behind her without warning.
Before she could react, Brian's clenched Dragon Claws into fists, which were raised high and smashed down on the White Dragon Mother's skull.
Crushing Blow!
The forceful close-range strike caused some scales on the White Dragon Mother's head to crack, jolting her brain. She emitted a cry of pain, her head spinning, her vision blurring, and the wind in her ears becoming unbearably shrill.
She struggled to control her body, swaying like a drunk, her body wobbling as she fell again.
As her heavy body landed on the ground, it compressed the thick snow, creating an outline resembling a dragon.
However, the White Dragon Mother's sturdy frame allowed her to quickly recover from the dizziness. Observing this, Brian remarked, "Not strong enough yet; otherwise, I could have knocked her out with a single punch.”
To avoid White Dragon Mother recovering, Brian moved like a cannonball, diving straight down, rapidly closing in on her.
Then, Brian crashed into the White Dragon Mother, his smaller body flipping her over. The tumbling of the two large dragons sent snow flying, leaving a long trench.
Before the White Dragon Mother could react, Brian pinned her down on the snowfield, begining pounding her head from side to side.
A left hook sent the White Dragon Mother's head to the left.
Before it fully turned, a right hook followed.
Brian, still in his Acceleration State, his dragon fists the size of sandbags, pounded the White Dragon Mother's head like a pile driver, the dull thuds of flesh hitting flesh echoing continuously.
If Brian's Acceleration State boosted his speed without increasing the kinetic energy of his punches, he could have defeated the White Dragon Mother with just a few strikes.
