Chapter: 174 Please command us at any time

Brian understood Grand Duke Thorn's intentions and did not reject the benefits and overtures extended to him. As for whether he would help when the Mocha Principality faced a real crisis, that would depend entirely on Brian's mood at the time. Expecting him to help just because of some benefits was unlikely. When faced with sugar-coated bullets, Brian always chose to eat the sugar coating and throw the bullet back.

The silver dragon and the red dragon landed on the platform one after the other. Upon noticing Brian's presence, someone immediately went to inform Grand Duke Thorn. A group of young, beautiful maids with fair skin surrounded him respectfully, saying, "We salute you, great Eternal Dragon."

"Please command us at any time."

Roger, who had consciously stayed one step behind Brian, glanced at him and let out a few eerie chuckles. Brian's face darkened upon hearing the red dragon's laughter and he turned to look back. But by the time he turned his head, Roger had already assumed a serious and solemn posture, as if the strange laughter had come from another dragon.

"Do you need us to clean your dragon scales and body?"

The head maid, tall and curvaceous, approached with a gentle and submissive expression, looking at Brian. Her eyes were like water, with a faint hint of reverence, whether genuine or feigned, giving off a sense of complete obedience to Brian's commands.

Brian initially wanted to refuse, but since he had been flying for quite some time, he had indeed accumulated some dust. After a brief moment of thought, he nodded at the head maid. Without words, the nod was enough to convey Brian's response.

The maids' faces lit up with joy, their expressions filled with happiness and excitement, as if serving Brian and cleaning his body was their greatest honor. They then lifted light buckets with their soft hands, infused the warm water with lavender-scented essence, soaked the white, delicate towels, and swayed their slender waists as they approached Brian. They gently rubbed the towels to create foam and then carefully wiped Brian's silver dragon scales.

The soft touch felt quite pleasant to Brian, who slightly closed his eyes and lay down on the spot, quietly enjoying the service from the young maids.

Roger felt a bit envious, glaring at the Mocha nobles not far away with a malicious expression, and said in Common Language, "Why is no one here to serve the mighty Ashen Wing?"

A middle-aged man waiting there stiffened, his legs trembling under the red dragon's imposing presence, and stammered, "V-very sorry, Lord Red Dragon, it was an oversight on our part."

Almost no one had expected that Brian would not only fail to drive away the red dragon at the Carol Mountains but would also bring it back.

"Foolish humans!"

Roger opened his mouth wide, revealing sharp, interlocking dragon teeth. His breath raised the surrounding temperature. A commotion broke out in front, fearing that the red dragon might start a massacre here. The middle-aged man who had caught Roger's attention nearly blacked out, his heart almost stopping under the pressure.

The commotion displeased Brian, who was enjoying the maids' service. He slowly opened his platinum Dragon's Eyes.

"Roger, stop scaring them."

After warning Roger, Brian closed his eyes again. The beautiful maids around him focused intently on bathing and cleaning his dragon scales, seemingly indifferent to the outside world.

Roger snorted heavily at the middle-aged man, restlessly shaking his head and dragon tail, but heeded Brian's command and stopped frightening the humans there.

Meanwhile, Grand Duke Thorn, having received the news, hurried over and had just arrived. He happened to witness Brian reprimanding the red dragon, which silently complied.

"Indeed, it is no ordinary True Dragon."

"The fierce and formidable red dragon appears to have been subdued by it."

Grand Duke Thorn's face lit up with joy, feeling immensely fortunate for his decision. Whether it was handing over the portal without hesitation or offering benefits to Brian, he now saw it all as worthwhile.
