Chapter 128 Magma Like Rain

"What are you standing around for? You go support the mine vein guards, and the rest of you attack this dragon with me!"

The ancient Frost Giant quickly ordered. Two Frost Giants ran towards the winter wolf pack, while the remaining dozen Frost Giants, along with the ancient Frost Giant, stared intently at Brian.

Meanwhile, Brian had already torn open the cage and was looking down at the injured White Dragon Mother inside.

"You should leave here first," he said calmly.

The White Dragon Mother blinked, knowing she was currently powerless in battle and could easily be killed if she stayed. After leaving the cage, she spread her dragon wings and clumsily flew upwards.

The Frost Giants did not sit idly by as the White Dragon Mother left. Massive ice boulders, each several meters in diameter, and spears over six meters long were hurled at her, whistling through the air.

Brian's eyes flickered, and all the attacks in his field of vision seemed to slow down.

He exhaled a Frost Breath, his neck turning as the freezing wind solidified the ice projectiles from the Frost Giants, causing them to fall to the ground.

"Slow spell?" The ancient Frost Giant frowned deeply, the scars on its face twisting together.

It couldn't understand the strange ability Brian was using. The slow spell it mentioned was a simple third-level spell that made enemies sluggish, but its effects were entirely different from Brian's and far less effective.

At the same time, two whooshing sounds came from the sky. Two white dragons dove down, landing heavily and forming a triangle with Brian, subtly surrounding the numerous Frost Giants.

They took a deep breath and simultaneously exhaled icy blue Frost Breath towards the area where the Frost Giants stood.

Several Frost Giants used their spell-like abilities to raise ice walls instantly, blocking the two Frost Breaths.

Crack, crack... fissures spread across the ice walls.

When the Frost Breath stopped, the ice walls collapsed, and shattered ice pieces scattered everywhere.

Immediately, six adult Frost Giants thundered forward, splitting into two groups of three, and charged at the two white dragons.

The remaining Frost Giants, under the command of the ancient Frost Giant, wielded giant weapons and rushed towards the most conspicuous target, Brian.

The largest ancient Frost Giant, however, cautiously stayed back, not advancing with the others towards Brian.

On the other side, Brian watched the imposing Frost Giants, whose stomping made the ground tremble. He took out the Red Flame Staff and began chanting a spell, using the staff to construct the spell.

Fire elements gathered in large quantities, and the temperature soared.

When the Frost Giants were within a hundred meters of him, a black and red magma ball materialized in front of Brian.

The magma ball was covered in cracks, with scorching magma flowing through them, casting a red glow around and emitting a heat that made every Frost Giant feel uncomfortable and repulsed.

The Frost Giants kept a close eye on Brian's actions, forming ice shields and spreading out, cautiously approaching while constantly changing their paths to counter Brian's spell.

After completing the spell, Brian did not immediately activate it. His platinum Dragon's Eyes coldly watched the Frost Giants' movements.

Behind him, the ancient Frost Giant's lips moved as it quickly chanted an arcane spell, causing the surrounding elemental energy to become active and boiling.

It was also casting a spell, one that Brian was very familiar with—a spell from the school of evocation.

However, the ancient Frost Giant's casting speed was slower than Brian's. When Brian's spell was complete, it was still preparing.

Meanwhile, several Frost Giants who had approached Brian raised their weapons high, circling to the sides and charging at Brian from all directions with loud roars.
Brian chuckled softly, and the power of time extended outward like water.

Centered on him, a hundred-meter radius froze in an instant.

The range of the time stop was different from what Brian had previously guessed; it wasn't related to his age. Since his last awakening, he could now freeze a hundred-meter area.

Within this range, each Frost Giant's body solidified, like lifelike statues.

One Frost Giant, closest to Brian and already mid-leap, was suspended in mid-air, its face frozen in an expression of excitement.

Apart from the Frost Giants, the scattered snowflakes and the biting cold wind also came to a standstill, motionless.

Outside the time-stopped area, the ancient Frost Giant, witnessing this scene, was initially slightly stunned, then its eyes widened in shock.

Due to the intense internal turmoil, it even forgot to continue casting its spell.

The spell failed, causing a mana backlash that surged within the ancient Frost Giant's body.

But it seemed to feel nothing, staring intently at Brian in shock.

"Black Scales Ring, Time Stop, Time Slow..." the ancient Frost Giant muttered.

It remembered why Brian seemed familiar.

It wasn't Brian himself that it recognized, but the meticulously embedded Black Scales Ring on him.

Over six hundred years ago, when the ancient Frost Giant was still young, it had heard from the elders of its tribe about a Legendary Dragon Species that surpassed all True Dragons, a terrifying True Dragon rarer than even the Dragon God.

"They have rings of black scales that can influence time, a domain even deities cannot easily touch."

"If you encounter a Time Dragon, never think of opposing it. Even the Great Titans wouldn't want to face them."

The ancient Frost Giant vividly remembered this conversation because it had left a deep impression.

"There's no such thing as a Time Dragon; it's just a fabrication by those detestable Dragon Tribe members. Who has ever seen one?"

It still remembered its own rebuttal back then.

"Could it be that the Time Dragon, this Legendary Dragon Species, really exists?"

The ancient Frost Giant stared intently at Brian within the time-stopped area, feeling a chill in its heart.

On the other side, Brian noticed the ancient Frost Giant's reaction but didn't pay it any mind.

Having lived for over seven hundred years, he was a creature with vast knowledge and experience. As a nemesis of True Dragons, the ancient Frost Giant was quite familiar with the Dragon Tribe. It wasn't impossible for it to deduce Brian's true identity from his abilities.

Since the time stop consumed a large amount of temporal power, Brian didn't waste any time.

With a thought, the magma fireball, burning with flames, fell to the ground.

In an instant, the magma fireball touched the ground, but surprisingly, it didn't cause an explosion or a spectacular burst of flames. Instead, it melted into the ground like a liquid.

Immediately, the earth trembled.

Black and red cracks, like branching lightning, appeared instantly, revealing glimpses of the scorching magma within.

The black and red cracks extended rapidly, finally converging under the feet of the Frost Giants within the time-stopped area, forming pits bubbling with magma. In an instant, they exploded, and columns of magma erupted like fountains, precisely engulfing the frozen Frost Giants. The splattering magma resembled blooming fireworks.

Boom, boom, boom...

Magma rained down, the ground trembled violently, and the high temperatures dispelled the severe cold of the northern Ice Field.

When time resumed, none of the Frost Giants, having been hit directly by the blinding magma, could stand on the ground.

Magma still flowed over their bodies, and thick white smoke rose as it met the cold air of the northern Ice Field.
