Chapter 19 Exile
The White Dragon Mother divided the prey into three portions, giving them to the three young dragons but leaving Brian out this time.
The three young dragons were overjoyed and looked at Brian smugly, as if to say he had fallen out of favor and would go hungry.
Brian paid no mind to the looks from the three young dragons, but inwardly he felt a chill, knowing that the White Dragon Mother was already considering driving him out.
Fortunately, he had prepared in advance. Otherwise, being suddenly exiled without any preparation would lead to a very dangerous wandering life.
Sure enough, three days later, on a typical snowy day, when Brian finished hunting and was returning to the Dragon's Lair, he was blocked by the White Dragon Mother standing at the edge of the Dragon's Lair cave, preventing him from entering.
"Brian, you now have the ability to survive on your own. It's time for you to leave my territory."
The White Dragon Mother coldly stared at Brian, speaking in dragon language.
'So the White Dragon Mother could speak...' Brian was slightly stunned, looking at this beautiful yet ferocious and indifferent beast, feeling a complex mix of emotions.
The first words he heard from the White Dragon Mother were cold and heartless words of exile, devoid of any warmth or emotion.
It seemed that to the White Dragon Mother, he was already an enemy to be wary of.
During their year together, Brian wasn’t truly an Evil Dragon, so his emotions weren't as indifferent. He still had some feelings for the White Dragon Mother, but unfortunately, the White Dragon Mother didn't care, seeing Brian as a threat to her position.
She warned, "Leave my territory. If you appear in this territory again, I will consider you an enemy."
To assert her dominance and display her power, the White Dragon Mother violently struck the ground with her dragon claws, causing cracks to appear on the floor of the Dragon's Lair.
At the same time, sharp ice crystals erupted and surged directly toward Brian.
Brian knew the White Dragon Mother wanted to drive him out.
But he didn't expect her to be so ruthless and aggressive, attacking him directly.
He was caught off guard.
The cold and hard ice crystal cluster struck Brian, the powerful impact sending his entire body flying.
Brian barely stabilized himself after being flung dozens of meters through the air, the white scales on his chest showing obvious cracks, waves of pain surging through him.
"Get out!"
The White Dragon Mother roared again.
The fierce wind of the extreme northern ice field howled around Brian, but it wasn't nearly as cold as the White Dragon Mother's attitude.
Brian endured the pain, remaining silent.
His expression darkened slightly, and he flapped his wings without hesitation, lifting his body and flying over the ice cliff, heading north toward the nesting site he had already chosen.
During this flight, his anger gradually cooled down.
After glancing back at the ice cliff, Brian's gaze turned cold.
It didn't take long for Brian to leave the White Dragon Mother's territory. He arrived at a small glacier under the polar night sky.
Looking down at the winding river, Brian landed, startling a group of Terror Lizards living nearby.
Despite their name, Terror Lizards resembled crocodiles, growing up to twelve feet long and weighing up to two tons as adults. They were covered in thick scales, with sharp claws and teeth, and quite cunning—definitely not to be underestimated.
This group of Terror Lizards numbered thirty-three.
The largest, their chief, was fifteen feet long, only slightly shorter than Brian.
Upon seeing Brian, the Terror Lizard Chief led the group to surround him, raising its head high, flicking its long, sensitive tongue, and hissing, its pupils narrowing into vertical slits.
