Chapter: 170 Brian felt a bit mischievous
Brian chuckled softly, then took a step forward. Amid the bubbling and rolling lava, his front Dragon Claws submerged into the thick, high-temperature lava.
The sensation was warm, like perfectly heated water. The heat continuously emanated from the lava, passing through the dragon scales and nourishing the muscles beneath, making Brian feel unexpectedly good.
But thinking of the red dragon's confidence and mockery, Brian felt a bit mischievous.
"Hiss..." He took a sharp breath, his brows furrowing tightly, and the fine dragon scales on his faceplate squeezed together as if he were enduring great pain.
The red dragon continued to laugh heartily, "The lava will teach you what it means to overestimate yourself!"
"What's the point of just putting one Dragon Claw in? Go all the way in!"
Meanwhile, Brian's expression changed, and the pained look disappeared entirely. He muttered in confusion, "Strange, I thought it would hurt a bit, but why does it feel so comfortable?"
He decisively jumped forward.
Splash!
The massive dragon body plunged into the lava pool, causing the scorching red lava to splash around. The spots where it landed on the ground emitted thick white smoke, and the surrounding area turned black in an instant.
The red dragon's face froze.
Brian's Dragon Wings moved slightly, scooping up a handful of lava and pouring it over himself.
Whoosh!
The bright, dazzling lava slid off the silver dragon scales. Amid the interwoven colors of red and silver, Brian squinted his eyes slightly, his platinum Dragon's Eyes filled with a sense of comfort and ease.
To him, this lava pool felt like a hot spring, with the temperature just right.
The heat nourished the muscles beneath his dragon scales, making him feel extremely relaxed. Although it couldn't compare to the internal and external magical tide comfort when consuming magical gems, Brian had to admit that he didn't want to leave this place for a while.
"As you said, bathing in a lava pool is indeed a wonderful thing."
Brian looked at the red dragon, raised his voice slightly, and said with a smile, "Having another adult red dragon serve me for a hundred years is even more interesting than bathing in lava."
"What a wonderful day."
Outside the lava pool, the red dragon's eyes widened in disbelief as it watched Brian, unharmed, swimming and floating in the lava pool.
Its mouth was still wide open, but the previous arrogant laughter had abruptly stopped.
"No, impossible, there must be something wrong with the lava."
The red dragon rumbled over, a hint of hope on its face, and reached out its Dragon Claws to touch the high-temperature lava in the pool.
However, the temperature felt no different from usual.
Realizing it had lost the bet and would have to give up a hundred years of freedom, the red dragon's face immediately fell.
It covered its eyes with its Dragon Claws and howled, "Ahhh, the great Ashen Wing, Lord of the Volcano, Roger, how can I serve another dragon!"
"Damn it! Damn it! My freedom! My freedom!"
"Roar!"
The red dragon Roger raised its head and roared, spewing out scorching Dragon's Breath. The flames hit the ceiling of the Dragon's Lair, blossoming into bright flowers of fire.
After spewing a circle of Dragon's Breath, it started banging its head against the walls in regret, creating one pit after another. Finally, with a flap of its Dragon Wings, it stirred up a gust of wind and flew out of the Dragon's Lair, wreaking havoc on the surrounding environment to vent its frustration.
Meanwhile, Brian closed his eyes slightly, relaxed his mind, spread his Dragon Wings to the sides, and bent his elbows, leaning against the edge of the lava pool, enjoying the nourishing heat of the lava bath.
Listening to the rumbling destruction caused by the red dragon outside, he felt incredibly content and even fell asleep in that position.
