Chapter 43 Great Master, do you have any other orders?

Time passed slowly, the night over the Ice Field as deep as ever.

A few minutes later, the Arctic Ice Spirit appeared to have absorbed sufficient power from the black mist. It opened its eyes, stood up slowly, and turned to face Brian.

Brian stopped thinking and looked at the Arctic Ice Spirit, examining the creature that had received the Evil God's power.

He looked the same as always with no visible changes.

His aura remained weak and insignificant even after converging.

Most importantly, the expression he showed toward Brian was still one of respect and reverence, as if Brian was still its only master.

"Great Master, do you have any other orders?"

Under Brian's intense scrutiny, the Arctic Ice Spirit bowed its head respectfully and spoke softly.

Brian paused for a moment, his face devoid of any emotion, before responding, "Yes."

The Arctic Ice Spirit was slightly surprised and instinctively asked, "What?" Brian narrowed his eyes and issued a commanding order in a firm tone, "My loyal servant, I command you to end your existence immediately."

The Arctic Ice Spirit's expression stiffened, displaying confusion as it hesitantly spoke, "Master...”

From his expression and tone, he seemed completely oblivious  to why Brian would issue such a command all of a sudden.

Before the Arctic Ice Spirit could finish pleading, Brian's Dragon Claws moved who chanted an incantation, activating the surrounding elemental energy.

Third Circle Magic, Hand of the Dragon!

A lifelike, translucent, ferocious Dragon Claw appeared above the Arctic Ice Spirit's head, descending mercilessly.

The Arctic Ice Spirit looked up in horror, black lines like veins appearing on his ice-blue body, attempting to resist Brian's attack.

Clearly, it was controlled by the evil power.

The Hand of the Dragon descended, crushing the Arctic Ice Spirit into pieces of pale Ice Crystal.

Oddly, these Ice Crystals were linked by black lines that squirmed slightly, attempting to reform.

Brian snorted, using the Hand of the Dragon to crush the Arctic Ice Spirit's body repeatedly into inert ice dust.

Despite having recently acquired some black mist power, the Arctic Ice Spirit had increased in strength but remained feeble in comparison to Brian.

After killing the Arctic Ice Spirit with one move, Brian called Tancred over.

Tancred was unaware of what had happened who glanced at Brian's face and ignored the Arctic Ice Spirit crushed into powder, silently waiting for Brian's orders.

Brian commanded, "Tancred, take some Ogres and throw this into a secluded ice valley."

Brian exhaled Frost Breath, re-encasing the Sun Sculpture in Ice Crystal. In the icy northern Ice Field, these Ice Crystals could last for decades if left undisturbed.

As Tancred set off to rally the other Ogres, Brian placed a temporal marker on the Sun Sculpture.

The power of the time mark penetrated the Ice Crystal, directly imprinting on the Sun Sculpture.

The effect of the time power was quite satisfactory to the dragon.

This was the advantage of being able to cast spells; magic could achieve many imaginative things with various uses.

Tancred came back with four Ogres, together carrying the heavy Ice Crystal. Following Brian's orders, they left the Ogre basin, heading to a deep ice valley forty kilometers away.

Brian had previously passed by this ice valley, noting its depth of at least a kilometer, sharp, icy Cold Winds, and steep, jagged walls that lacked any signs of life at the bottom.

By tossing the Sun Sculpture into this remote location, it would be challenging for other creatures to access it.

Brian could rely on the time mark to retrieve it when necessary.

Brian thought this sculpture was capable of corrupting Spellcasters' minds, which could be a surprise weapon at the right time.

For example, if a kingdom or church were to discover Brian and foolishly attempt to slay the dragon, he could strategically place the Evil God sculpture near their stronghold, allowing them to witness its formidable power.

Additionally, the followers influenced by the Evil God were cunning and adept at concealing their true identities.

After temporarily resolving the issue with the Sun Sculpture, Brian returned to William's stone house in the Ogre basin, meticulously searching inside and out for any other valuable items.

"It would be ideal to find spellbooks from other magical schools," he thought.

Enchantment and Transmutation were not sufficient for Brian; his primary interest lay in the Abjuration school.

Not out of fear of death, but simply because he found protective magic fascinating.

Being an immortal Time Dragon, he grew stronger with age. As a result, he focused on mastering protective spells.

After glancing at the illustrations in the book about the Lustful Paladin, Brian put it down, closing his eyes and casting a cantrip, Detect Super Magic.

Items with elemental energy had a form of super magic, invisible to the naked eye but detectable through Detect Super Magic, known as Elemental Super Magic or Arcane Super Magic.

Powerful spells or strong magical items were surrounded by dazzling super magic.

If a novice Mage attempted to use Detect Super Magic to observe a Legendary Spell, the overwhelming magical energy could potentially blind them.

As for Arcane, it was an ancient term used to describe magic.

Some still referred to magic as Arcane, but their numbers were dwindling.

In contrast to the intricately developed modern magic of diverse schools, ancient Arcane magic was frequently more energy-intensive but similarly more potent.

The book detailing the Lustful Paladin referenced a Grand Arcanist from a different world who traversed the Crystal Wall on a Magic Ship to reach Noah World, forming a bond with the protagonist. This Grand Arcanist hailed from a civilization known as Netheril, a radiant apex of magical prowess that captivated Brian.

A Grand Arcanist was equivalent to a Legendary Mage.

Getting back to the main focus, after casting Detect Super Magic, Brian opened his eyes and meticulously scanned every nook and cranny of the stone house. His gaze traversed slowly, halting when it landed on William's sizable bed, a mixture of excitement and joy crossing his features.

A wave of super magic emanated from underneath the concealed bed.

Judging by its outline, it was the round, plump Gemstone shape that Brian was fond of.

Brian quickly approached, smashed William's bed with a swipe of his paw, revealing the hidden compartment below.
