Chapter: 136 Demiplane and Quasi-Divine Power

"How about this, after you acquire enough foundational knowledge, you can occasionally come to my place when you have free time, or I can bring Amos to your territory."

"You don't need to worry about other things; just spare some time to teach Amos some evocation spells."

"As a return, I'll tell you the secret of the Red Flame Staff. During my trip south, I'll also keep an eye out for spell knowledge books and give them to you when I return."

Brian didn't like taking care of people, but Luna's request was minimal and didn't require him to look after Amos.

Rather than a demand, it was more of a request for help based on Brian's willingness.

Luna's words didn't imply that Brian had to do anything specific.

As for teaching someone spells... it was a good way to test his own learning outcomes, not a bad thing.

After pondering for a moment, Brian nodded and agreed, "Alright, but when you're looking for spell books, don't limit yourself to evocation spells. I'm interested in spells from all schools."
"Are you sure it's books from all schools of magic?"

Luna and Brianna simultaneously turned their heads, a bit doubtful that they had heard correctly.

Brian repeated, emphasizing, "That's right, books from all schools of magic."

Brianna asked in confusion, "Are you planning to collect them? Books are hard to preserve and don't have much collectible value."

She didn't think Brian wanted books from all schools of magic for his own use.

Brian shook his head and said frankly, "Not for collection, but for my own study."

"I've already learned spells from the schools of Transmutation, Conjuration, Abjuration, and Evocation, but I'm not satisfied. I want to delve into all schools of magic."

Luna and Brianna exchanged a glance and then simultaneously stared at Brian with a peculiar look in their eyes.

A word simultaneously surfaced in their minds.

Spell addict... Such a handsome dragon, yet he's a spell addict.

"Brian, you need to think this through. The knowledge of magic is profound and complex, endless. Even ancient dragons can't guarantee they can master a single school to its fullest. You might just end up spreading yourself too thin, unable to master any school."

For the first time, Luna's face turned serious as she patiently advised Brian.

"Yeah, yeah, I've never seen a spellcaster from any race who wanted to dabble in all schools of magic and had a good outcome. Even letting Lilith learn both Conjuration and Enchantment was a decision Luna and I discussed for a long time."

Brianna said with equal seriousness.

Their words were well-intentioned.

True Dragons have long lifespans, but they are still finite.

Spending a lot of time studying all schools of magic would only waste one's lifetime energy.

True immortals, aside from deities, are only a handful of legendary creatures.

Brian was one of them, but they didn't know that, so they kindly advised him.

"I understand what you're saying, thank you for the reminder, but I have my own considerations."

Luna and Brianna could see that Brian was resolute and had his own ideas, not easily swayed by words, so they stopped advising and instead wished him well, "We hope you can succeed and achieve your goals."

Brian smiled slightly and said, "Whether or not I succeed, it's always worth trying."

After a pause, he looked at Luna and changed the subject, "Alright, now let's talk about the Red Flame Staff."

"What exactly is it connected to?"

Brianna stared at the Red Flame Staff, equally curious as she looked at Luna.

Luna pondered for a moment before finally speaking in a clear voice, "Demiplane."

Demiplane?

Brian was momentarily stunned.

Demiplane!

Brian's expression changed.

Upon hearing the word "demiplane," a series of related information about demiplanes surfaced in his mind, all derived from his Dragon Heritage knowledge.

A complete plane, including the Prime Material Plane where Brian resided, as well as elemental planes, Hell, the Abyss, Mount Celestia, the Beastlands, and so on, are theoretically infinite in size.

A demiplane, however, might only be a few hundred meters in size, or it could be as large as a planet or a galaxy, but it is a finite space.

The size of a demiplane is not fixed and can be expanded and grown through various means. They can be created by powerful spells or form naturally.

Demiplanes are often connected to the Prime Material Plane, and some powerful beings seek out suitable demiplanes to transform into their strongholds.

The reason why ancient dragons are rarely seen on Noah Continent is that they are likely hiding in some demiplane.

Upon hearing the word "demiplane," Brian felt a strong urge.

He wanted a demiplane as his Dragon's Lair, which would be countless times safer than any of his current Dragon's Lairs.

"Morton named the demiplane he discovered the Lava Demiplane."

"Its interior is almost entirely composed of fire and earth elements. In an area of nearly a million square kilometers, it is filled with lava and volcanoes. Every inch of space is suffused with heat and dryness, and there are many mineral veins, including fire-element gemstone veins."

"As for the connection you felt, it's the portal linking the Prime Material Plane to the Lava Demiplane."

Luna pointed to the crystal at the top of the Red Flame Staff and said, "This crystal is called the Heart of Lava. It is the crystallization of fire and earth elements in the Lava Demiplane and also the key to entering the Lava Demiplane."

Listening to Luna's explanation, Brian's breathing became a bit heavier.

A demiplane of nearly a million square kilometers... If managed and expanded over time, it could be turned into a new world, a world that, although not large, would belong solely to him.

Upon hearing the word "demiplane," Brian had already considered it as his own.
