Chapter 20 The fireball only felt slightly warm to Brian
Brian's gaze was calm, and his platinum-gold eyes shone brightly.
He suddenly spread his wings, their twenty-foot span blocking out the moonlight, casting a large shadow on the snowy ground, completely dominating the Terror Lizards with his size.
Accompanying his movement, an invisible Dragon's Might emanated from Brian, sweeping over the Terror Lizard group in an instant.
The Terror Lizards immediately became agitated and restless, the Terror Lizard Chief barely resisted Brian's Dragon's Might, but it gradually began to retreat under Brian's silent and calm gaze.
While retreating, it hissed and spat out a bright fireball. Brian swept it away with his wings, reducing it to sparks, with no damage to his wings, as if he had brushed away a gentle breeze instead of an explosive fireball.
The magic immunity of dragons was quite terrifying.
A pure White Dragon could greatly resist cold damage but was vulnerable to fire attacks. However, Brian had a high level of magic immunity to almost all elements as a unique Time Dragon.
The fireball only felt slightly warm to Brian.
This attack exhausted the Terror Lizard Chief's last bit of courage. It slowly crouched down, whimpering softly, not daring to look at Brian anymore.
The other Terror Lizards had already crouched down earlier, some even wetting themselves, trembling or remaining motionless.
After retracting his Dragon's Might, Brian waved at the Terror Lizard Chief.
The crocodile-like Terror Lizard Chief hesitated, then cautiously approaching Brian with its armored body, lowering its head covered in menacing scales.
Brian extended his claws, petting the Terror Lizard Chief's head like a pet.
The texture was rough with a granular feel and surprisingly pleasant to touch.
The Terror Lizard Chief showed no resistance, happily enjoying Brian's caress.
For a True Dragon, subduing minions was a simple task.
A display of Dragon's Might usually made opponents surrender.
Sometimes even creatures of similar power levels found it hard to resist Dragon's Might. It was not just an aura but a supernatural ability.
Some creatures even actively sought out True Dragons, taking pride in becoming their minions, especially kobolds, a humanoid race with extremely diluted dragon blood, who blindly worship True Dragons.
After the Terror Lizard Chief submitted, the other Terror Lizards stood up one by one, surrounding Brian and hissing, seemingly pledging their loyalty to him.
This group of Terror Lizards had now became Brian's minions.
They were his subordinates, spies, and, if necessary, reserving food.
Soon after, Brian repeated the process and subdued a group of over forty White Hounds nearby.
Located in the upper reaches of a small glacier, Brian planned to build his nest in the glacier, so he intended to either kill or subdue all nearby creatures.
The white giant dragon with an over twenty feet wingspan soared through the sky, moving along the glacier, his platinum eyes surveying the snowy world below.
A few minutes later, Brian's gaze froze, showing a hint of confusion.
He spotted a rather peculiar creature settlement.
After a moment of thought, Brian flapped his dragon wings, stirring up a gust of wind as he flew toward the sight.
Below were creatures with semi-transparent, silver-white bodies, seemingly made of ice crystals. They looked up in slight fear at the approaching giant dragon.
Brian landed who carefully observed this tribe of humanoid creatures living near the small glacier.
To be precise, they were elemental beings.
Before Brian were about seventy crude and simple igloos, yet they exuded a rugged beauty.
The residents of these igloos were humanoid creatures.
Standing between one and six feet tall, they looked like animated ice blocks, with distinct facial features—eyes, mouth, nose, ears—appearing as if sculpted, yet capable of making subtle expressions.
Their appearance was exquisite and beautiful with a kind of androgynous charm.
'Water elementals?' Brian pondered.
Upon seeing these beings, he initially thought they were water elementals, but a closer look revealed they were different.
Water elementals typically had semi-fluid bodies, whereas these beings were solid ice crystals.
'Probably mutated water elementals,' Brian thought.
Since there was no record of such creatures in Dragon Heritage, Brian named them Arctic Ice Spirits.
