The next morning, I woke so early with the thought of the day being annoying, knowing that Janet was still here. My mother called me that they will have a dinner party in our house and I should come with Romano. I know the reason why they invited me because they want to tell everyone that their daughter is now married to the Alpha.

I needed to inform Romano about the party but I didn't know how to go about it since he is still busy with Janet. I took a deep breath before walking out of my room. I came outside but no one was seen, I went to the other room but I couldn't find Romano or Janet. I was about to leave when a strong hand grabbed my waist and slammed me to the wall. My back hit the wall and I grimaced in pain. The moment that I met his eyes, I agape in astonishment. I wasn't even expecting him to see him.

"Romano." I called and he was staring into my eyes while our faces were just one inch away from each other and I could smell his hot fragrant breath, the body cologne he used and the shampoo he applied on his hair.

His hair is still wet which means that he just finished taking his bath. I slowly looked down and my eyes widened when I saw his shimmering six-pack abs. Damn, he is so hot. I was lost especially when a small drop of water fell from his wet hair down to his masculine body. I swallowed my saliva because it seemed like my throat dried up upon what I just witnessed at the moment.

"What are you doing in my room?" He asked in his husky voice. My face flushed when he started to caress my hand.

"I…. wanted to tell you something." I can't even say a proper sentence as he is making me stutter, goodness!

"What is it?" He asked and I realized that he was just teasing me and I pushed him away. I took a deep breath to compose myself because I don't like what he made me feel now. He is making my body tremble.

"We have a small dinner party tonight and my family wants us to be there." I said with my eyes averted from him. I didn't dare to look at him because I was scared that if I do, definitely, I will be mesmerized with his looks besides he is not wearing a shirt and his six-pack abs looked shimmering in my eyes.

"Is that so?" He asked and I was already frozen at the spot when he wrapped his hand around my waist. I could feel his cold body and it made me clench my fist.

"Please move away, Romano." I said but he listened instead he just spun me so that he could look at me closer.

"What are the conditions of going with you?" He asked with a smirk on his face and I bit my lower lips to stop myself from blushing.

"There is no condition at all, Romano. You are coming with me because you are my husband." I said courageously and he smiled. It seems like he is enjoying the moment as he is making me feel so distracted and he pulled my body close to him.

"Your husband? Okay, I am going with you daring but on one condition." He said and stared at him disbelievingly.

"Kiss me, darling." He said and my mouth widened and I was able to say something when he already took my lips and it made me freeze. I closed my eyes to respond to his kiss and hung my hand on his neck as I could feel myself driven by his addictive kiss.

I couldn't resist those tempting lips of his. He lifted me up without breaking the kiss and the moment my body touched the bed, I was awakened as I realized what I was doing. I pushed him away immediately and tried to compose myself back.

"I will wait for you outside, the dinner party starts in a few minutes." I said and walked out of the room.

I got to my room and went straight to the bathroom to wash off my face. I hated myself again for being weak like this. Whenever Romano is kissing me, it seems like I am not myself. His kissing is so damn distracted. After a while, I was able to compose myself and started getting ready for the party because we needed to leave earlier to be able to get there on time. Although I wanted to avoid attending the party, I had no choice.

I got dressed and came outside my room and found out that he was already sitting on the couch waiting for me on the main corridor. He stood up and turned to my direction, I stopped when our eyes met with each other and his lips curved into a smirk, I looked away immediately.

"Let us go, darling." He said and I nodded.

We walked out of the house to the parking lobby and we drove off with some of his men to my family house. I wanted to avoid him so I didn't say a word until we reached my home.

It was already eight o'clock in the evening when we reached my house. He held my waist as we walked inside, I tried to push him away but he didn't let me go. He just held me tightly and I just sighed deeply. We were still at the door when I saw familiar faces, I should be mistaken because those faces became part of my past. The faces that betrayed me and almost made my heart shattered into pieces.

I could feel anger develop in my heart when I saw them again. My best friend and Charlie were there with my twin sister and they all turned around when they noticed us coming. Romano was still holding my waist firmly when he saw Charlie.

"The dumbass was also here?" He murmured but I was not paying attention to what he was saying. My gaze was towards my best friend who turns out to be my twin sister's new friend.

"Sister!" Juliet screamed and ran towards me. She hugged me tightly and my attention was on my best friend, Lydia.

Lydia looked away as soon she saw and I shook my head. It has been a long time since they broke my heart and I wanted to smash their faces for hurting me in the past but I just realized that Charlie is not worthy of my love and luckily, I have moved on already.

The moment my twin sister hugged me, I couldn't stop myself from smiling. It had been a while since we saw each other. Juliet was furthering her education outside the country and I was left with our parents.

"I miss you too." I replied as I was staring deeply into her eyes.

My twin sister and I looked so much alike but our eyes were different. I have purple eyes while her eyes were green. Her eyes were beyond beautiful compared with mine and I couldn't prevent myself from feeling insecure about it.

"You don't want to introduce me to your twin sister, Jasmine." Romano said and I rolled my eyes at him. My attention turned back to Lydia and Charlie as they are now looking at me intently. I gave them my most irritating reaction to tell them that I am still very upset with what they did to me in the past.

"Oh, hi! My name is Juliet, Alpha Romano." My twin sister said as he held my husband's hand immediately, my eyes widened and I was tempted to take her hand from him.

Why am I feeling this way? Why is that I felt uncomfortable the way my sister was looking at him. Romano was quite a handsome Alpha and knowing my sister very well, she liked hooking up with the most handsome guy and I could also remember how she kept on praising Romano when we were still young.

"Nice meeting you, Lady." He replied as he winked his eyes at my sister and I felt like pulling off his eye. He is really a jerk.

"I heard that my sister got married to an Alpha." She said while staring at me.

My twin sister was staring deeply into my eyes and I couldn't help but swallow my saliva. She wasn't around when Romano and I got married. I was about to reply to her when Charlie and Lydia approached us and my blood boiled in anger again. I was staring at these two people that betrayed me and made my life a living hell. The memories flashed back when I caught them having sex and it felt like I wanted to strangle their necks now.
