"What is going on, Kenneth?" Ciara asked.

"There will be a battle and Romano told me to take you people away from here." He responded to Ciara.

"I am not leaving, Romano is still here and needs to stay where he was." I said as I still stood closer to them. My heart pounded very fast inside my chest looking at their opponents.

"Don't be hard-headed, Jasmine. You are not safe here." Kenneth said to me but I didn't listen. I ran towards Romano and hugged his wolf.

"I won't leave you, Romano." I said but his wolf stared at me with worries in his eyes. I can't believe that we were already facing trouble as soon as we stepped our feet into the grocery store. What I don't understand is how they knew where we were heading to.

"We have to leave, Jasmine." Kenneth said as he pulled me away from Romano's wolf form. I tried to free my hand from his grip but Kenneth is strong and I couldn't overpowered him.

"Release me, Kenneth, please!" I screamed but he didn't listen to me. He dragged me to get inside the car and put the seatbelt on me. I tried to free myself but I was unable to remove the seatbelt.

"Romano will be fine, Jasmine. Stop worrying about him because he is a wolf and can defend himself." Khloe said to me.

"You don't get me, Khloe. I am sickly worried about him and I don't know what will happen to me if I lose him!" My voice raised as I couldn't stop myself anymore. They don't seem to understand my situation. My husband is the only one I have now and I will not accept the fact that he would be in danger.

"We understand you, Jasmine but if you stayed here, Romano won't be able to concentrate and fight them because he would be worried about your safety." Nina said and it made me think about what she just said.

"Who are those people, Kenneth?" I asked him as he was about to drive the car out of the parking lobby.

"Romano already suspected that someone was watching us." He replied and my mouth opened widely. That means my suspicion earlier was right. Someone was really watching us secretly.

"If he already knew that something might happen, why then did he allow us to leave the mansion?" Ciara asked and it made me nod my head agreeing with her.

"Because, it is more dangerous in the mansion. The reason I came back is because he begged me to return. Enemies have started showing up and he would be needing my help." Kenneth said and I couldn't believe what he just said to me now. I have no idea about it and Romano never mentioned something like that to me.

"But, he didn't tell me." I murmured and it made my friends stare at me.

"It is because your husband doesn't want something bad to happen to you." Khloe responded and I nodded.

"Who are they, Kenneth?" I asked him and he glanced at me through the mirror.

"Just an old friend of Romano." He replied and my eyebrows furrowed. My husband had numerous friends but they all betrayed him.

"Are we going back to the mansion now?" I asked him.

"No, we are not going home. There were a lot of surveillance cameras all over the house and up till now we have no idea how the enemies were able to install the cameras on Romano's mansion." Kenneth replied and my mouth opened widely. I remembered that Eve was there and we left her all alone in the mansion. What if she is part of them?

"I can't believe this." I murmured and my hand was already shaking in fear. All this time, we were unaware that someone was watching us secretly. We are not safe even in his mansion again.

"We should….. goodness!" Kenneth couldn't stop himself from cussing as he matched his foot on the break. My heart pounded inside my chest when we saw a lot of wolves blocking our way.

"What is going on?" Nina asked in her shaking voice and my attention was on the group of wolves grinning at us.

"The four of you should stay inside and lock the car. I will take care of them." He said as he removed his shirt. I was worried about him because he is alone facing a group of wolves.

"Kenneth, please be careful." I said to him in my worried face and he looked at me and smiled.

"Don't worry about me, Jasmine. I can handle them." He replied and I nodded. He stepped out of the car as he approached the group of wolves. My friends and I stayed inside the car watching Kenneth fight with them.

"What are we going to do now? We are trapped here. We were supposed to help Kenneth." Khloe said and it made me clench my fist. She is right, we need to help Kenneth. He is fighting them all alone.

"We should help him." I muttered and they all smiled. Although we were in the toughest situation, my friends can still smile. A smirk curled up to my lips because of their actions. We started searching inside the car to see if we could find something that might kill a wolf and my eyes sparkling when I saw four baseball bats hide under the chair.

"Are you girls ready?" I asked them and they nodded their heads. We stepped out of the car together and stand behind the wolves.

"We are here!" Ciara screamed and it made the wolves face us. They grinned at us as they started attacking us. We didn't waste time as we also started hitting them with the baseball bats that we were holding.

Sweat streamed down my face as it took me about two minutes before I could kill one wolf. My legs were trembling as guilt overwhelmed me. I haven't killed before, although they were wolves but I still can't stop myself from feeling guilty of killing them but we have no other choice. We are trapped and we need to fight them for us to be able to escape.

"Goodness, another wolf is coming!" Khloe screamed on top of her lungs and it made my jaws clenched.

"We shouldn't stop fighting!" I screamed at them and my friends nodded their heads agreeing with me. Kenneth's wolf appeared in front of me and the way he stared at me, I knew he was worried about me.

"I am fine, Kenneth. Don't worry about me because we need to help you." I said and he just nodded his head. He went back fighting the enemies and I was hitting a wolf with the baseball bat I was holding and it made me not notice that someone was at my back.

"Don't move or it will be the end of your life." I freezed at the spot when I heard the voice. His voice sounded so familiar and my heart pounded rapidly inside my chest thinking who it could be.

"I can't believe that you came here, one question, one answer." I said on my gritted teeth without facing him.

"You should be thankful that I still love you. If not, I would have killed you now." My mouth opened widely when she said that. Who would expect that he will come back after so many months? I could still remember what he did to me the last time.

"Back off, Charlie…." I said and it made me laugh evilly. My blood boiled because of that. He was smirking at me the moment I turned around and faced him. I couldn't believe seeing him here.

"What is the meaning of this, Charlie?" I asked him on my curiosity

"Can't you understand it, Jasmine?" He asked, still smirking at me. He was about to touch me when I pointed the baseball bat I was holding at him.

"Don't come near me, you dumbass!" I screamed at him in an anguish tone.

"You think you can defeat me with that baseball bat?" He asked and my mouth opened widely when he pointed a gun at me. It was as if my legs were stiff, staring at the gun.

"What do you want from me, Charlie? Please leave me alone." I said to him and it was as if tears were threatening to flow. What is going to do to me knowing that Romano isn't here? I don't know what will happen now.

"I have been planning this for some months now and I won't allow my plans not to be successful. I will force you to come back into my life." He said and tears streamed down my face.

"What happened to you, Charlie? Why are you so obsessed with me, I remembered how you hurt me and now you are trying to force yourself on me. This is not the Charlie I knew, this is not you anymore." I said and then he grabbed my hand and it made the baseball bat I was holding fall on the ground.
