"I told you, my love, that she will accept you." Romano said as soon as Sophia left us, he was about to wrap his hand around my waist again when someone came and disrupted our moment.

"Hi, Romano?" My blood boiled when I saw one of his mistresses again. I didn't expect to see her here.

"What are you doing here, Maya?" Romano asked in his cold voice and I couldn't stop myself from smiling on how he removed her grip on his shoulder. She was about to grab his hand but I stopped her by holding her wrist.

"Don't intervene, Jasmine." I glared daggers at him.

"Get your hands off my husband." she looked at me with her furious reaction.

"Really, Romano was your husband but he never treated you as his wife." She said and I just smirked at her. She is not aware that Romano has changed now. She had no idea that we had settled our differences and I will allow her to touch my man again.

"Romano loves me now." I said and she raised one of her brows at me.

"Tell her, Romano her, that you didn't want her." She said but Romano just chuckled.

"You are still obsessed with me, Maya. She is my life now and I would like to warn you. If you still love your life, get your hands off me because my wife will chew you alive." Romano said and I can't stop myself from laughing because of what he said to her. She walked away from us with tears streaming down her face.

"You are so rude, Romano. Why did you tell her that I am going to eat her alive?" I asked as I giggled. He chuckled as he held my hand and looked at me deep into my eyes.

"I am glad that you didn't run out when Maya was approaching me. You even defend me from her." He said and I just smiled. I trust him now and I know that he is sincere towards me.

"It is because I trusted you." I replied and it made me give me a peck of the lips. He was about to say something when someone arrived again.

"Hey, Romano." Harry called and he glared at them. Khloe and Nina are here as well and both of them were smiling at my direction and it confused me.

"You look so stunning, Jasmine." Khloe said and I smiled.

"How are you?" Nina asked me, it has been a while since the last time I saw them. They have been busy with their businesses.

"I am fine." I replied.

Your eyes could tell that you are in love, girl and we already knew who you fell in love with." Ciara said and it made me blush.

"She is in love with me but I love her even more." Romano replied and my face reddened more. I turned my attention to him and he winked at me, my feet started trembling because of that.

I was about to utter a word when we heard a loud howl of a wolf outside the building and it made everyone panic. Romano grabbed my hand as we walked out of the mansion. We needed to know where the sound was coming from and as soon as we stepped out of the mansion, we saw a group of wolves outside the building. My heart was pounding profusely because of the thoughts that they might be our enemies.

"Alpha Romano, I have something to tell you." A man came out from the groups of wolves and said to Romano. He is wearing a brown hoodie jacket and I can't see his face clearly.

"What are you doing here, Joseph?" Romano asked and I glanced over to him.

Joseph, who is he?

"Prophecy has been revealed and we discovered that the moon goddess had paired you with another mate. It took us some years before we found out about it and she is beside you." Joseph said and my heart skipped a bit. Romano looked at me with his astonishing stare.

"Goodness, is it Jasmine?" Romano asked and my heartbeat increased as I waited for Joseph's response.

"No, I am your new mate, Romano." My heart jumped out of nervousness when I heard my twin sister, Juliet's voice behind us. She showed up and tears streamed down my face.

"What are you doing here, Juliet?" I asked her, it has been a while since I have been looking for her all over the city and then she appeared here out of the blue.

"She is lying, don't believe her, Alpha Romano. Your mate is Jasmine." Joseph said and my face brightened.

"I know that Jasmine was my true mate but why are you claiming to be my mate, Juliet?" Romano asked my twin sister and she grinned at us like she didn't feel any fear facing us.

"You have no other choice but to make me your mate too, Romano or it will be the end of Jasmine's life." She said and I felt a force pushed me to the ground and it caused me to have difficulties breathing.

"Jasmine!" Romano screamed as he caught me. I was still finding it difficult to breathe and I couldn't understand what was going on with me.

"I….. can't breathe, Romano." I said as sweat began streaming down to my face.

"Please hold on, Jasmine. I will take you to the hospital." Romano said as he carried me. He was about to rush me to the car when Juliet stopped him.

"No hospital can cure her." She said and her words made Romano furious. He put me down on the floor and ran towards my twin sister. He strangled her neck. I wanted to stop him but I didn't have the strength to speak as I was still trying to catch my breath.

"I will kill you, Juliet! What did you do to my true mate?" He asked her with his furious tone but my twin sister wasn't even concerned about his tone.

"If you kill me, you can't save your wife. We are identical twin sisters and if you kill, Jasmine will also die alongside me." She said to him and I can't believe that this is actually happening. She came back to make our life miserable and the curse she laid on us had started taking effect.

"Damn it, what do you want?" Romano asked her.

"Marry me, Romano. Make me your wife and let me live in your house just like my twin sister. Love me the way you loved her." She replied and I can't believe hearing those words from her. How could she do that to me? How could she demand that from my husband? If I have the strength to speak now, I will never allow her to take my husband away even if it cost me my life.

"That will never happen, Juliet. Jasmine would be the only woman I will be devoted to. You can't demand that from me, please ask for any other thing, I would gladly obliged but I can't marry you." He replied and my heart shattered because of how he was begging my twin sister for my life.

"You do want my sister to live, right? So you must grant my request if you want her alive." She said and I clenched my fist.

His friends, Harry and Tim carried while I was still catching my breath. I am unable to speak or even move my hands and legs, it seems I was being paralyzed. If I can just say something now, I would stop my husband from agreeing to her demands. Juliet is a psychopath bitch and she will do everything just to take my husband away from me.

"Fine! If this is the only way to save my wife then I am willing to do it! Just don't hurt her." Romano accepted her demands and it almost turned my life upside down. I can't believe that he agreed to Juliet's demands.

"You are not hard to deal with, Romano. Our marriage ritual will be held later but if you betray me, I will kill your wife." She threatened Romano and immediately I was back to normal. Harry and Tim put me down on the ground and I ran towards Juliet and slapped her hard on her face.

"For goodness sake, Juliet. You are my twin sister, how could you do this to me?" I asked with my furious tone.

"You can't do anything now, Jasmine because Romano had already agreed and if you made him change his mind, I won't think twice before ending your life." She said and I just sob. I can't believe that she had become this evil. The twin sister I knew will never betray me and it hurts me that she was capable of doing this to me.
