"Harry, Tim, you are here?"

"Yes and we are glad to see you here as well. I am sorry to inform you that we couldn't persuade Romano to come here even though he knew that you were here." Tim said and I let out a deep sigh.

"It is okay, maybe he needed time to think. Let us just give him some time to be alone for now." I replied. I understand perfectly well how he felt and I can't blame him for reacting the way he did. Humans killed his first mate and now they are attacking his people, it's like they reopen his old wounds. I am only scared that it might affect our relationship now.

"Yes, you are right." Harry said, I smiled at them.

We all headed to our different rooms afterwards and as soon as I got to my room, I went to the window. I can see clearly below the beach from there and it was a lovely view. It would have been so good if my husband was here with me and I would enjoy the vacation more.

"Come on, Jasmine you will be fine and your husband needs some time to think things through." I said to myself as I left the window side. I went to the wardrobe to get some clothes because my friends invited me to swim at the beach. I wore a bikini outfit that Nina prepared for me and stared at my reflection on the mirror before stepping out of the room.

I was walking alone in the hallway and was about to turn right when someone grabbed my hand and slammed me to the wall.

"What the hell!" I exclaimed but as soon as I glanced over to the person, my heart jumped out of happiness.

"Why are you wearing this type of dress?" Romano asked and it made me lick my lips.

"Because I am going to swing." I replied and he glared at me.

"Change your dress." He said as he dragged me back to my room. I couldn't explain the happiness I felt at the moment knowing that he followed me down here.

"Are you not upset with me, Romano?" I asked and he stopped walking. He seems calm now and I know that he is not mad at me anymore.

"I am really sorry if I acted in that way. You know I can't stop myself from being mad at the humans because of what they did again. I am not mad at you but I am mad at the other humans that dared to harm my kind." He said and a smile curved my lips.

"I am truly sorry for what happened, Romano." I said and he cupped my face and stared at me deep in the eyes.

"No, you don't have to apologize, Jasmine. I should be the one to apologize to you because of the way I acted earlier." He said and tears of joy streamed down my face. I am happy that he is not mad at me anymore and I tried to understand his perspective. Humans killed his first mate and I can't stop him from being mad with my kind.

"It is okay, Romano. By the way, what are you doing here?" I asked and he chuckled.

"Because my true mate is here." He replied and my face blushed.

"But, Harry and Tim told me that you refused to come along with them." I said and he raised his eyebrows.

"They said that? But I told them to inform you that I will come later. Those dumbasses are really getting on my nerves and they will pay for it later." He said and his words made me nervous.

"Please, don't be mad at them." I said and he looked at me with his serious reaction.

"They lied to you and they must be punished." He said and I held his hand and looked him deeply in the eyes.

"Don't mind them, Romano. What matters the most now is that you are here with me." I said and he smirked.

"Fine but change your dress now. You shouldn't wear such a dress." He said and I can't stop myself from laughing because this Alpha is being conservative but I like it.

I changed to another outfit and we stepped out of the room together heading to where my friends were waiting for us. He was still holding my hand as we walked towards the beach area. All the were on us and some were even glaring daggers at us because of jealousy. Of course, my husband is so hot and handsome, besides he is popular as he is the Alpha king.

"Why are you silent, Jasmine?" Romano asked me and I glanced over to him.

"Well, I am thinking about how to slay those ladies who fantasize about you." I replied and he laughed.

"Silly, don't mind them because I am all yours." He said and his words gladdens my heart. I still can't believe that Romano is mine now. I wasn't even expecting that a day like this would come into my life.

"I just prayed that we remained like this for eternity, Romano. I knew we were going to face different obstacles but I hope that we can overcome them together." I said and stopped walking and faced me. He held my hand and stared at me deep in the eyes. I can feel it within me that he loves and cares for me.

"I promise you, Jasmine, that I will stay beside you no matter what happened." He assured me and I signed.

"But I can't avoid overthinking knowing that you are an Alpha because I am sure that being an Alpha holds big responsibilities." I said and he kissed me on the lips.

"Please don't on't worry, we can handle everything as long as we are together." He said and I nodded my head.

I can't even understand why I am acting like this. There were a lot of thoughts in my head that worried me to death. It is not that I am losing the trust I have in my husband but I am thinking about the enemies and their capabilities to harm Romano.

"I am sorry, Romano but I just can't avoid overthinking." I said and he grabbed my waist and pulled me to his embrace in the middle of the way. We remained in each other's embrace until we heard a voice from behind and we separated from the hug.

"What a nice couple." The moment I heard the voice, the strand of my hair stood on end and Romano pulled me even closer to him like he wanted to avoid being away from me.

"What are you doing here, Nicho?" He asked him and my face turned to the man named Nicho. He is handsome but his eyes seemed blazing in anger. He looked so pale and the cold breeze of the wind made my feet tremble when it hit my face.

"Visiting you, Romano. How are you and you now have a precious and beautiful mate, wow." Nicho said with a smirk on his face. The way he looked at me, it seemed like he was about to hypnotize me but Romano blocked it with his body.

"Vampires are not welcome here anymore." Romano and my mouth open widely. Did vampires exist?

"You have changed, Romano. Have you forgotten our friendship in the past? Vampires and werewolves have been friends before, remember?" He said and I could feel the tension on Romano the way he gripped my wrist.

"Our friendship ended a long time ago because you almost harmed Evelyn. Have you forgotten that?" Romano asked him.

"Oh, about your mate? She died because of your flaws, right?" Nicho said and it made Romano release his grip on me and attacked him. He grabbed Nicho's collar and I couldn't help but feel scared.

"I don't care about you, Nicho. Leave this place now or I will kill you!" Romano yelled and he is furious now. I am sure he is ready to kill Nicho if he doesn't obey him.

"Leave this place now, Nicho because you are surrounded by wolves." I turned my attention to where the voice came from and I saw Romano's friends and other faces that were not familiar to me. They surround both Romano and Nicho.

"Fine, I will leave this place but I have something to tell, Romano." He said and I raised my eyebrows.

"We don't care about whatever you are going to say." Harry replied.

"She is coming, Romano and I swear to you that she will make your life worthwhile again." He said and then disappeared from our eyes. I was still shocked at the words he let out before vanishing. It seemed like I was having difficulties digesting his words. Who is actually coming?

"He is such a jerk for entering my territory." Romano said with his furious tone and came closer as he held my hand.

"Don't mind him, let us get back to what we came here for." Tim said and they left afterwards. I was still standing in front of Romano and he was staring at me deep in the eyes. I heaved a deep sigh.

"I can't believe that vampires exist." I said and he smiled at me.

"Other creatures do exist as well just like us but don't mind them." He replied and he held my hand and started walking towards the beach area.
