"This is so alarming. We are scared to go back, Alpha Romano. What if enemies are waiting for us on our way home?" One of Juliet's companions said to him.

"It is better for you all to stay with us. Juliet is my wife's twin sister and I won't allow something bad to happen to her on the way." Romano said and it made my sister stop crying immediately. Romano threw the bloody knife somewhere in the forest.

"Thank you so much, Romano and also thank you, Jasmine." My sister said as she hugged me. I don't know what I should do at this moment, I heaved a sigh before rubbing her back.

"You can come with us, sister. This is for your own sake, I won't allow you to be in danger." I said to her, regardless of what happened in the past, I still care about her. She saved my life and this time, we will be the one to repay the favor. The bloody knife is not a good joke.

"Where is the note?" Romano asked and it made her let go of me. She pointed at her bag again and Romano opened it. He cussed reading the note.

"What is in the note?" Kenneth asked and everyone was silent waiting for Romano's response.

"It is a death threat. Juliet's life is in great danger." Romano replied and I heaved a sigh again before turning my gaze back to her. We were in the middle of the forest and it was dark already. We still have five hours before reaching the east mountain.

"But who is behind this?" I asked as I looked at her. She became uneasy about my question, she turned her attention away from me before responding.

"I…..I don't know." She replied, shuttering.

"Whoever they are, the important thing is that you are with us now and you are safe." Romano said and for some reason I felt jealous the way my husband cared for her. This is wrong but I just couldn't stop myself. I know Romano cared for her because she is my sister but then, I can't stop myself from feeling this way.

"It is okay, sister. As my husband said, you are safe with us." I said and she hugged me again and nodded her head responding to me.

Romano and I continued building our tent and stayed inside after we were done as we waited for dinner time. Others were busy preparing the dinner.

"Who do you think that threatened your sister's life?" Romano asked me and I heaved a deep breath before responding to him.

"I have no idea, Romano. Her life is in danger, that is what I think as of now." I replied as he wrapped his hand around my waist and kissed my neck. I bit my lips because of what he did.

"I will allow your sister to stay with us until we go back home but if she did something that I don't like, Jasmine. I won't hesitate to throw her away." He said in his threatening tone.

"She won't do anything, I think so." I replied and he was about to kiss me when we heard a loud howl of a wolf and it made us come out of the tent immediately to know what was going on.

"What happened?" He asked his friends.

"I think enemies surrounded us and they are here already, Romano." Tim replied and it made my heart pound inside my chest. I never thought that our forest adventure would turn out to be a battle between Romano's Pack and other Pack

"Be ready, we will fight them." He said and just like a snap of a finger, something happened which I couldn't expect.

A group of men appeared in front of us which we didn't expect. Romano grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him. His men also got ready to fight and I could feel my heartbeat increase because of the numerous men that were standing in front of us.

"What are they?" I asked Romano but his attention was focused on the creatures that appeared in front of us.

"They are half-blood creatures." He replied and I was shocked. I didn't expect to hear that from him and this was the first time I heard and saw half-blood creatures. I never heard about them before even when I was young.

"Alpha Romano." They muttered as they bowed their heads to him. I was shocked because I didn't expect them to do that.

"What are the half-blood creatures doing here?" He asked them in a serious tone.

"Our land was attacked by a group of wolves. Many died, even the innocent children. Some escaped but the majority of our kind lost their lives in the battle." One of them said and it made me agape. I can't believe it.

"I don't care because you kind of chose the other enemies instead of my Pack. Your former leader used to be my friend but he picked the other Packs which are one of my enemies. So tell me what is the reason for you all to be lost in my territory?" Romano asked them with no fear in his voice. He seemed not to care about them and I was shocked. Anyways, he fears no one.

Romano Kelvin is not afraid of anyone because he is an Alpha King. He is dominant and powerful and no one can beat him but I wonder what would be his weakness?

"We do apologize for that, Alpha Romano. I know that our leader made a mistake but we are indeed of your help now. Our land had been taken by your dead mate's brother and we can't defeat him especially now that he has so many allies on his side, he is not alone." One of the creatures said and my mouth widened. Evelyn's brother? Is it Nelson?

"And you think I am going to agree with what you said. Who the hell is your kind for me to offer my help?" Romano asked them and I could feel the anger in his tone. I understand his reason but they deserve to be helped.

"Please, Alpha Romano, the Alpha king of the werewolves Pack. We really need your help. We know that you are the most powerful and your Pack is leading among the werewolves Pack." The one that spoke earlier added. I was only listening to their conversation and my heart seemed to shatter for what this creature said. They were begging Romano for his help and I felt that he wasn't ready to help them.

"Leave us here, not until my blood darkens. I don't want to see all the faces in my territory. Don't expect any help from Romano Kelvin because I am not going to help your kind." He said as he turned his back on them. He was about to walk away from them but I stopped him. He turned and looked at me with his serious face. I heaved a deep breath before speaking to him.

"Can we help them, Romano? They are indeed yours and many innocent people are in danger. No one would help them but only your Pack." I said to him and he stared at me with his brows furrowed.

"I have said it earlier, I am not helping them. They don't deserve my help." He said in his cold voice as he walked away from us. I heaved a deep breath and stared at Kenneth.

"Follow him, Jasmine and let me take care of the creatures." Kenneth said and I nodded my head at him as I followed Romano. It is already dark and the light from the moon is the only thing that helps us to see the way. Romano was on the oak tree sitting when I found him. He looked at me with his blank expression but I still continued walking closer to him.

"Are you okay?" I asked but it took him about two minutes before responding.

"Do I look fine, Jasmine?" The way he sounded, I could feel the anger within his heart. I bite my lips before speaking again.

"You can tell me exactly what happened, I am willing to listen. Please tell me your reasons for not helping them." I said to him and he sighed deeply.

"They are half-blood creatures that have half vampire's blood and half werewolf's blood. Their kind used to be our Pack ally. My father was still the Alpha of this Pack when some enemies attacked our Pack. The half-blood creatures defend our enemies instead of us and my father died because of that. They never helped us during the battle because their former leader, who was my friend, chose our enemy's side. All they thought was that they could defeat us but I tried my best to beat them. We won the battle and I ended our friendship. They caused the death of my father." He explained and my eyes became teary.
