"What are the three of you doing here? You guys are supposed to be at work." I said and they chuckled.

"No, we put our work aside just to come and visit you." Khloe said and I smiled.

"You guys missed me, right?" I asked as I giggled and it made them laugh.

"Of course, we do. So how are you enjoying your job here?" Nina asked and I smiled at her. I am still thankful that she offered me this job because it helps me a lot and now that I have no one by my side anymore.

"Well, I am enjoying it. It helps me cope with all my anxiety." I responded.

"How about your wounded heart? Have you been able to forget Romano?" Ciara asked and I heaved a sigh before responding.

"Forgetting him seemed hard but I am working on it." I replied.

"Did you know that he had been looking for you?" Khloe said and I looked at them with a confused expression. I could feel my heart pounding inside my chest because of nervousness.

"For what reason?" I asked and they shrugged their shoulders responding to me.

"Just don't mind him, Jasmine. We were convinced that the reason he is looking for you is to hurt you again. You don't deserve someone like him, you deserve the best." Ciara said and she is right but Romano was still my husband, we are still married and I am still his new mate that the moon goddess has paired him with. Our bonds are still there.

"Thank you so much guys for always being there by my side. I really appreciate all your help and I don't know what my life would have been if the three of you weren't beside me." I said and my words made their eyes teary.

"Oh, don't make us cry, Jasmine." They all said and I chuckled.

"Come on, let us go to the salon now." Khloe said and I raised my eyebrows.

"What is the need to go to the salon? I am fine with my looks." I said and they rolled their eyes at me.

"We need to go to the salon because we have a party to attend later on." Khloe replied and I shook my head disagreeing with them.

"I have so much work to do here and can't join you guys." I said and they rolled their eyes at me again. I took a deep breath.

"No more but, you are coming with us, Jasmine and that is final." Ciara said and I sighed again before nodding my head and giggled.

"So what is the part all about?" I asked as we walked through the hallway.

"A famous band is going to visit our resort." Nina said and I agape.

I have almost forgotten about it. Goodness, I am working here but I have no idea about it. This answers my confusion earlier as to why there were so many customers here today.

"That is really cool." I replied and they laughed.

We continued walking until we reached the parking lobby and we entered the car as we drove off. I dislike the idea of changing my look but I have no choice because it is my friend's ideas and I can't decline them. We reached the mall in just twenty minutes and they pulled me into the salon, they started my hair treatment, nails and even the foot spa. I am not used to all this but to make them happy, I am okay with it. They are my friends and I knew they all wanted the best for me, they wanted me to let go of my past and start a new life without Romano but thinking about him still makes my heart ache in so much pain.

"Goodness, you look so stunning, Jasmine." Khloe said as she laid her on me. Ciara and Nina were staring at my toes and I couldn't stop myself from chuckling.

"Stop teasing me, guys." I said as I stepped out of the salon and they followed me, I shook my head and kept going. I turned my gaze to the boutique inside the mall and without noticing that I was about to bump into someone.

"What the hell!" I exclaimed as I was about to fall but my friend grabbed my hand and it prevented me from falling.

"You are so careless." She said and her words made my blood boil as she put the balm on me. My eyes widened when I realized who I just bumped into. It was Lydia and look how fate made way for us to meet again.

"This slut is here." I said as I glared daggers at her.

"Don't call me slut." She replied and I shook my head.

"Really? So what do you want me to call you, a bitch?" I said and her face boiled in anger as I could feel it the way she looked at me.

"I don't know but you are still angry about what happened in the past. It has been years since the incident between me and Charlie. We are done now and he still chooses you." She said and it made me grin.

"I am not talking about that asshole, I am angry with your betrayal. You gave up our friendship." I said and clenched my fist, I was trying to control my anger because I was so mad at what she did to me in the past. Lydia was the person I trusted the most and I couldn't believe that she would do this to me.

"Jasmine is right. We can't believe that you ruined our friendship just because of man." Ciara said and I was still glaring daggers at Lydia.

"I am not concerned about our friendship anymore. You guys should just move on because I am not part of the group again." Lydia said and her words still show that she is a bitch. She was about to turn away when Nina pulled her hair.

"You bitch." Nina said as she slapped her hard on the face. My mouth agape, i couldn't believe she was going to do that and could sense trouble now.

"How dare you?" Lydia said as she pulled Nina's hair as well.

We are in trouble now, knowing that Lydia wasn't alone. She was with another bitch like her. I don't know what to do as I watched my friends and Lydia's companion fighting. My legs trembled in fear.

"Stop it, please!" I screamed but they didn't listen until Lydia started pulling my hair.

"This is all yours fault, Jasmine." She said and my blood boiled.

"How dare you say that to me? You stole my boyfriend from me and you don't have the right to put the blame on me." I replied and I am really mad at her and I won't allow this bitch to hurt me. The moment she was about to slap me, someone held her hand and my heart almost jumped out of nervousness.

"Don't lay your fucking hands on my wife or this would be the end of your life." He said and his voice sounded so familiar and my heart could recognize him. I could feel my heartbeat increase.

"Alpha… Romano." Lydia murmured and I freezed at the stop.

It is Romano and I can't believe meeting him here. I clenched my fist at the sight of him as what he did to me three months ago popped into my head, how be pushed me away.

"Stay away from my wife if you want to avoid dying now." Romano threatened and Lydia and her friends scurried away from us. I was still standing at the spot, unable to move my legs.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him in my cold voice but he spun me around and I just stared at him.

"You should thank me because I saved you from that evil woman." He said and I chuckled in a sarcastic tone.

"Thank you?" I asked sarcastically and I was about to turn away from him when he grabbed my wrist.

"Don't turn your back at me because I am still talking to you." He said with his cold expression. I tried to remove his hand from my wrist but his grip was tight.

"Let me go, Romano. You are hurting me!" I exclaimed and he removed his grip from my wrist. He put his hand on his pocket and glared at me. His friends and his Beta were standing behind him likewise my friend was standing behind me.

"We are not done yet, Jasmine." He said as he turned his back to us. I clenched my fist, he is really making my blood boil as well as making my heart pound fast.

I missed everything about him and it still hurts remembering those words he said to me that he doesn't love me, tears streamed down my face.
