"We found out that you are actually my true mate, Jasmine." I couldn't stop myself from feeling emotional. Tears streamed down my face hearing that from him.

"I am your true mate?" I asked and he just nodded his head. He was still wrapping his hand around my waist as he wiped the tears from my face.

"Yes, Jasmine. The mood goddess had paired us and I am happy because of that. I can't believe that you are not only my wife but also my true mate. We have been mated." He said and he hugged me. I cried out on his chest out of happiness. The happiness within my heart is unexplainable knowing that I am actually his mate.

"Goodness, I can't believe it." I murmured and he took my lips again.

"Now that you are my true mate, I will like to mark you as my Luna and not as my wife." He said and I just blushed. The happiness I felt at the moment can't be purchased by money. The love I have for him is priceless and can't be compared.

"This is good news, Romano and I was so happy right now." I said and he kissed my forehead.

"I am also happy, Jasmine. You are the best woman that the mood goddess gave to me and I can't wish for anything else but to always be by your side. You saved me from my dark past, not only that, you lifted me from the past that had been sucking me for a long time and I promise to always protect you. I promise to love you just because you are my mate or my Luna, or even my wife but because you are the love of my life. You are my strength now and losing you would be my downfall." He said and his words made my legs tremble and my heart flattered. It is such an honor to be his mate as well.

"I swear to you, Romano, that I will do my best to be a better mate and Luna to you." I said and he cupped my face as he stared deeply into my eyes. He was about to kiss me again when someone opened the door.

"Alpha Romano, oh, I am sorry." Ashton said as he opened the door and I buried my face in Romano's chest out of embarrassment.

"You are so annoying, Ashton! What do you want, dumbass?" He asked him.

"A group of wolves are waiting for you outside the house." He said and it made me raise my eyebrows. Wolves are here?

"Can I talk to them, Jasmine?" He asked and I just nodded. He was about to leave the room when he turned around and looked at me.

"What?" I asked him and he grinned and it made me nervous.

"You are coming with me because I would like to introduce you to them as my Luna." He said and I just licked my lips.

"Wait Romano, I am nervous." I said and he raised his eyebrows as he stared at me.

"I am here beside you, don't worry." He replied and I sighed as I got up from the bed and put on some presentable clothes and we walked out of the room.

We walked to the field in front of our house where the wolves were waiting for us. I could feel my heart pounding and my hand started shivering. He held my hand as if he was trying to calm my nerves as we got to the field. I was amazed when I saw so many wolves in the center of the field in front of our house.

Alpha Romano." They all chorus as they bow in respect to him and I was memorized by that. They are really showing their respect to their Alpha.

"What is the problem? Why were all of you gathered here?" He asked and they lifted their heads and looked at us. I bent my head down to hide my face from them.

"We found dead wolves near the forest, Alpha Romano and it is alarming." One of them said and it made me look at them.

"How many?" He asked them.

"Fifteen dead wolves and they all died just in one day." They replied and he caused Romano to release his hand from my grip. He clenched his fist and I knew he was really mad because of the news.

"Who was the suspect?" He asked as he tried to calm himself down and I held his hand to help him release his tension.

"We are still trying to fish them out but we saw gold bullets in the area where they died. And there were holes in their bodies indicating that they were shot with guns.

"Humans killed them and they have made me furious by doing so." He said and it made my heart pound inside my chest. I feel so guilty because of what my kind did to them. I am a human being and I am scared that Romano might be angry towards me because of what my kind did to his.

"For now, we are still investigating Alpha Romano. The reason we came here is to just inform you." They added and it made him sighed.

"Don't worry because I will investigate this and if I found out that they were killed by the humans, they must surely pay. They are disobeying my rules and they will never like it when I am angry." He said as he walked away and I followed him. He was walking so fast that I couldn't reach him if I just walked, so I had to run and to reach him.

"Romano!" I called his name but he didn't listen.

"Please stop!" I added and he stopped. He faced me and his expression was just blank.

"Don't tell me to calm down because I won't listen. Your kind is harming my people so let me be for now." He said and my eyes widened. I froze at the spot as I watched him vanish from my sight.

After the news of my kind that killed his people, he didn't talk to me and he left the house without telling me his whereabouts. He became cold towards me again and I couldn't stop myself from feeling worried. I was in the main corridor waiting for him to come home. It was already nine o'clock in the night but he isn't home yet. I am so worried about him now.

"Don't worry about Alpha Romano, Miss Jasmine. He is mad at the humans because they killed his first mate but everything changed when he met you. Just give him time, I am certain that he will be fine." Ashton said behind me and I just sighed before responding to him.

I was about to speak when I heard the sound of a car. I stood up hoping to see Romano but it was my friends and I heaved a sigh.

"Jasmine." They called my name all together and I faked a smile at them.

"Hey, what are the three of you doing here?" I asked and they all laughed.

"We are here to fetch you." Khloe said and I raised my eyebrows.

"Where are we going?" I asked them.

"Goodness, Jasmine. Tomorrow is my birthday and it will be held at the resort. I have called your husband to ask for his permission but he doesn't seem to care." Nina said and my heart seemed to ache because of it.

"Did the two of you fight?" Ciara asked and I just shook my head responding to her.

"No, maybe it is because he thought that my kind killed his people. There were fifteen wolves found dead near the forest and they suspected that they were killed by humans." I said and they signed.

"And knowing that humans killed his first mate." Khloe said and a bitter smile formed my lips.

"Yes and I don't know how to comfort him about it." I said and the three of them hugged me.

"Don't worry, he will be fine soon. You should come with us and I have informed Alpha Romano about it already." Nina said and I nodded my head responding to them.

"Let me get some clothes, you guys should wait here." I said and I was about to leave but Ciara stopped me.

"Your dress is prepared already and you don't need to bring clothes anymore." She said and I just smiled at them. I am grateful that I have such friends like them because they never forget me even in the past.

"Maybe, we should leave now." I said and they nodded their heads.

We walked out of the house together and hopped into the car. Nina was the one driving and Ciara was sitting on the passenger seat. Khloe and I sat in the back seat of the car. I was just silent throughout the whole ride until we reached the resort that is owned by Nina's parents. It took us about two hours before reaching the resort.

"Jasmine?" I heard someone call out my name and my heart pounded. I turned my head and my eyes widened as I saw Harry and Tim. I wasn't expecting them to be here.
