His comfort washed all the hatred inside my chest. The anger I felt for him faded when he hugged me. His comfort makes me feel at ease. I miss his hug and everything about him. Despite what happened between us, I am still hoping that he would tell me that he wants me back in his life.

"You are such a jerk, Romano. I am in this pain because of you. You always shatter my heart into pieces and I don't understand the reason why you kept hurting me. Don't I deserve you?" I asked him and he hugged me more tightly.

"I am deeply sorry, Jasmine. I know I made a mistake of hurting you and the moon goddess knows how I regret everything I did to you. My guilt is killing me now." He said and I lifted my head to look at him. I looked him deep into his eyes and I couldn't believe what I saw. His eyes were full of tears and I was astounded.

"Why are you crying? You didn't care about me and you even told me that you never loved me so why are you crying?" I asked and he bent his head.

"That is not true, Jasmine. I love you so much and when you left me, my life became miserable. Every second, I was longing for presence. I missed everything about you and that is the truth." He said and I was confused. I can't believe what he just said, it seems hard to believe because I know what happened between us the last time. He told me that he doesn't love me and even pushed me away from him and now he is telling me that what he said before wasn't true. He is difficult to understand and I don't know what to believe anymore.

"I d…don't understand it, Romano?" I asked smile while there were still tears in his eyes. He held my hand and stared at me deep in the eyes. The next thing he did made my heartbeat increase. "If you truly love me, why then did you lie to me, Romano? Why do you need to go this far if you love me?" I asked with tears in my eyes.

"I know and I have repented, Jasmine. Everything I did before, I regret it now. I was only trying to kill my heart because I was scared to love again but forgetting you is so hard. I can't afford to lose you, Jasmine." He replied and pressed his forehead against mine and it made me smell his breath. I closed my eyes and let myself inhale his hot fragrance.

"Are you sure about your feelings for me now, Romano?" I asked and he smiled again.

"I never regret trying to love you and now I have fallen in love with you, my life has become colourful again. You gave light to my dark past and I am so lucky to have you." He said as he took my lips again and I closed my eyes to respond to his kiss. His hands were rubbing my back and it made the situation more intense.
