"Is there something wrong?" He asked me.

"I am just bothered about those men that attacked us. Do you know who they were?" I asked and he stared deeply into my eyes.

"Don't mind them, I am certain that they came from another Pack. He replied and I nodded my head.

I don't know anything about other Packs, all I know is that they aren't far from our land but I am not interested in knowing them either.

"Are you alright?" I asked him and he just raised one of his brow at me.

"Of course, I am fine, Jasmine. Why would I not be alright? I have you by my side, you are the precious gem I have now and losing you might be the end of me." He said and my face reddened. His words melted my heart.

Despite him being a demon, he is still the sweetest person I have ever met. Up till now, I still can't believe that I am loving a demon like him or should I call him a sweet Alpha.

"Do you promise to love and be devoted to me? What if your real mate came back, Romano?" I asked him and my heart skipped a bit. It seems like I wanted to scold myself for asking him that question. He grabbed my hand and then stared deeply into my eyes.

"Don't ask me such a question, Jasmine. I love you both okay. Although my dead wife was still in my heart, I love you more. She is dead and she will never come back." He replied and I just sighed.

He is right, I shouldn't ask him such a question and I wanted to scold myself for being too talkative.

"Come on, Romano. We should keep going to your company." I said and walked ahead of him. He followed me to his car and we drove off again.

Romano and I remained silent till we reached his company and he was still holding my hand as we walked towards the corridor. I noticed the eyes of the workers were on us and some of them were even gossiping but we didn't mind them. We were about to enter his office when someone showed up from the back and hugged Romano from behind. I clenched my fist because of what she did. I felt like ripping her head away from her body for having the guts to hug my husband in my presence.

"I miss you, Romano." She said and I removed my hand from Romano's. His mistresses always showed up wherever we went and I can stop myself from feeling more annoyed with that. Although he promised me that he will never entertain them again, I am still hurting seeing them pestering all over him.

His attention was towards his fling and that is when I walked away from them. I needed to breathe some fresh air, it is not that I don't trust him but I just can't stop myself from feeling upset seeing his mistress. I don't know the direction I was walking to, all I wanted was to find a place to cool my nerves and feel better. In just a moment, I reached the top roof of the company without my knowledge. It wasn't even expecting to reach when I took the direction of the hallway.

The cool breeze of the wind hit my face and flew into my hair the moment I stepped on the place. My lips curled into a sweet smile as I wandered my eyes throughout the surroundings. It was a tall building, the forest and the mountains can be seen from where I was standing. Romano's company was the largest and tallest building of the city.

"This is so beautiful." I said to myself and then closed my eyes to feel the cool breeze.

"But, you are more beautiful, Jasmine." My eyes widened when I heard Romano's voice. I turned around and saw him and he looked so hot in his office suit.

"Why did you follow me?" I asked in my cold voice. He came closer and then gave me a rose flower and I was astounded. I could feel my heart pounding so fast inside my chest seeing the rose flower. All the anger I felt earlier faded when he offered me the flower.

"I am sorry for what happened earlier." He apologized and I just stared at him. He is sincere with his apology and those pleading eyes of him seem hard to resist.

"It is fine, apology accepted." I replied and accepted the rose flower he gave me.

"Don't be mad at me, you already know that I love you so much and I am trying my best to avoid those of my mistress but sometimes they show up without my permission. He said.

I don't know him and I know that they are not aware that he is a changed man now. Maybe some of them knew about him but not all.

"I am not angry with you, I am upset because of how your fling hugged you from behind without even trying to know who is with you." I said and he chuckled. He grabbed my waist and gave me a quick peck on the lips, it made me blush.

"I love you, Jasmine and remember that no matter what happens, I will never allow someone to hurt you. They can't even touch you not while I am still breathing." He said and his words melted my heart again. I was so happy hearing that from him. It feels so good to see how much he loves me and I know I won't ever regret loving a demon like him.

"I love you too, Romano Kelvin." I said and before I could finish, he already took my lips. I hang my hand on his neck without releasing the flower on my hand that he gave me. Goodness, his kiss was so damn attractive.

We went back to his office after the intimate kissing scene on the roof of the building. I stayed in his office as he went to the boardroom to attend the meeting and returned back after an hour. We left his company because of something very urgent. I have been asking him the reason but he told me that I will find out sooner. I shut my mouth and focused my attention on the road. He was sitting beside me and playing with my hand and I couldn't stop myself from smiling. He looked like a child.

"Why are you smiling, My love?" He asked as he noticed my grinning.

"You are hallucinating, Romano. I am not smiling." I said and he placed his hand on my waist. It made me grit my teeth because of the unexplainable sensation when he placed his hand on my waist.

"I am sure I saw you smiling, Darling. Don't worry because when we reach our destination later, I will see your smile again." He said as he winked at me. I couldn't hide the redness on my face, his smile is really driving me crazy. He looks so different now compared to when I first signed the contract for marriage. He used to pester me but now I can't believe that he is the reason for my happiness and I can't afford to lose the man I love.

"I know what you are thinking, Romano." I said and he just smirked.

"What do you think, darling?" He whispered into my ear and it made the strand my hair stood on end. Goodness, this man is really making me nervous.

"Romano….." I groaned as he put his hand under my shirt.

"Oh my gosh, my hand could feel your wetness, my love." I looked at the front view and thank goodness, the driver didn't notice what was happening at the back seat.
