"We need to leave now, Alpha Romano. Tomorrow before dawn, we will be coming to your Pack because all of us will join your warriors." They said and we nodded our heads to them as they left us. The moment the half-blood kind left, something happened that almost made my heart jump out of nervousness. Another group of wolves surrounded us and Romano pulled me closer to him as we faced them.

"We are surrounded by the enemies again!" Kenneth screamed and my mouth opened widely.

"What the hell? They are making my blood boil. I wanted to make sweet love to my wife but they are not allowing me to rest." He said on his grit teeth and it made me blush.

We were in a dangerous situation but he still had the guts to joke. It is as if the fears I felt faded away because of what he just said.

"Focus your attention, Romano. We are in the middle of the forest and we were surrounded by the enemies." I said to him but he winked at me. He removed his shirt and handed it over to me. My eyes widened because of what he just did.

"Just focus your eyes on me, my darling and watch how your husband slay our enemies." He said and my mouth opened widely. I was nervous of what might be running through his mind.

"What are your plans, Romano?" I asked him in my nervous tone but he just smiled and turned his attention towards Kenneth.

"Come over here, Kenneth. Protect my Luna and let me slay them." He said to him.

In just a snap of a finger, Romano transformed to his wolf form. He attacked the enemies and his moves were like flash. The enemies didn't expect him to be fast like that. He didn't hesitate to rip their heads out of their bodies. His sharp fangs almost broke all their bones. He killed them mercilessly. He never shows mercy on them, no wonder the other Pack and his enemies fear him. There is no doubt that everyone fears him. Romano Kelvin is a merciless Alpha.

"Your husband is so powerful. He fought the enemies all by himself and he can beat them even if he is all alone." Kenneth said to me and I smiled.

Yes, Romano is powerful but I can't stop thinking about what if something happens? What if he falls one day? I am scared that a time would come when Romano will be defeated but I am hoping for it to happen.

"Yes, Kenneth but I can't stop myself from thinking negatively about what if...." I paused my sentence as I felt tears were threatening to stream down my face.

"A lot of people were planning for his downfall." I added and the tears I was trying to hold streamed down my face. Kenneth patted me on the back to comfort me.

"Don't overthink it, Jasmine because it will never happen. We are here for him and we won't allow them to defeat him." He responded to me and I sighed.

"You know, I can't prevent myself from thinking negatively, Kenneth." I said to him and he just nodded his head while his attention was focused on my husband who was still fighting with the enemies. I heaved a deep breath before turning my attention back to Romano again.

In just a few minutes, he has killed all the enemies and ran towards the forest to transform back to his human form. He returned shortly, wearing only his pants but still shirtless. He was walking towards me with a grin on his face and I bit my lips staring at him. He came closer to me and wrapped his hand around my waist and it made my heartbeats increase.

"We are safe now, my Luna." He whispered into my ear and sighed.

"Darling, are you okay?" He asked me with a worried face.

"I am always like this whenever I witness you killing, Romano." I replied and he cupped my face using his two massive hands and then looked into my eyes.

"Don't worry about me, Jasmine. I will be fine and can defeat all of them. Don't you trust your Alpha king husband?" He asked me.

"It is not that I don't trust your capabilities, Romano. You know I can't stop myself from worrying about you." I responded and he smiled as he gave me a peck on the lips. It made me blush.

"I love you and I can't wait to make sweet love to you tonight." He said to me and then faced the others.

"We need to rest now before it is dawn because we will start our journey back to the east mountain early in the morning." Kenneth said and everyone nodded their heads responding to him.

"Don't worry, Alpha Romano because we will guard this place tonight together with the warriors." Ashton said and Romano headed his head towards him. He held my hand as we went back to our tent. Romano made sure that he locked the tent very well and then we laid on the bed. He wrapped his hand around my waist while kissing my neck.

"Goodnight, my darling. I wanted to make love to you but I remember that you had a wound. Guess we will do that after our mission tomorrow." He said and I smiled.

"Goodnight, Romano." I responded as I closed my eyes.

"I love you, Jasmine and I will always do. Remember that." He said and his words gladdens my heart.

Romano closed his eyes as well because it was already midnight but I still couldn't sleep. I don't know why but it was as if someone was watching us. I wanted to avoid overthinking it but I couldn't stop myself. Each time I think like this, something bad always happens.

"Come on, Jasmine. You need to sleep now." I said to myself as I tried to force myself to sleep and squeezed my body around my husband. I fell asleep shortly.

The next morning, I opened my eyes when I felt kisses all over my face and my husband's handsome face is what I saw for the first time in the morning.

"Good morning, my beautiful Luna." He greeted me and it made me smile. He always made my day and his handsome face motivates me to keep going on with life. He is making me strong to face all the battles in my way. I don't know what would happen to my life if Romano wouldn't be by my side. He is my life and losing him will be my greatest downfall in life.

"Good morning, Romano." I replied as he helped me get up from the bed.

"Breakfast already prepared outside, wife. We need to eat and continue our journey to the east mountain." He said and I nodded my head.

Romano and I stepped out of the our together and approached the others that were already waiting for us. The food had been ready and we started eating silently. My twin sister and her companions were also eating and even up till now, I still feel something strange about them.

"I would like to remind you all that we need to prepare ourselves for our journey towards the east mountain. We don't know, something might be waiting for us on the way." Romano said to everyone and we nodded our heads.

After we were done with our breakfast, we parked our things back to our bags and continued our journey back to the east mountain. Romano was holding my hand with his right hand while the other hand was holding the touch light. My friends and others were behind us and they were so talkative. I shook my head at them and focused back on the road. Romano was quiet as his attention was focused on the road as well.

"Hey, Romano!" I screamed when he did something that almost scared me. My face heated up because of what he did. Romano carried me and I was expecting him to do that. My face was blushing because of what he did.

"I can walk, Romano." I said to him and he glared at me.

"Stop resisting me, wife. Please let me carry you." He said and I just nodded my head.

He carried me for up to five hours and I was able to convince him to put me down and he obliged. We have been waking for almost five hours but still we haven't reached the east mountain. Romano told me that we are almost there and the only way to get there is that we have to climb on top of the hill. My legs were already tired of walking but I didn't stop.

"Can you still walk, wife? Or do you want me to carry you?" He asked me and I shook my head countless times disagreeing with him.

"I can still walk, Romano." I replied and he just nodded his head. We started climbing the hill and Romano was still holding my hand until we reached the peak of the hill. My mouth opened wide seeing how beautiful the place looked. We can see all the below views from but what caught my attention the most was the Pack near the mountains.
