"Do you still love her?" I asked him and he looked at me with surprise written all over his face.

"Why are you asking that, Jasmine?" He said and I couldn't explain myself why I asked that question. I don't know why those words came out of my mouth. Well I just realized that since she used my body to talk to him, there is a possibility that he asked her to stay. If he still loves his wife, I am willing to forever give my body to Evelyn and both of them will continue their love story. It doesn't matter if I won't be able to return to my body ever again. I love Romano and I am willing to do everything just to him.

"It is because I wanted to know if you still love your dead mate. If you still love her, you should ask her to stay. I would be fine, Romano. I am just a replacement mate and I am willing to give my body back to Evelyn just for her to return." I said and he cupped my face as he stared deeply into my eyes.

"Don't say that, Jasmine. If I loved Evelyn more, you shouldn't be here." He responded and tears streamed down my face. He is right because if he still loved his dead mate, I would never have woken up, I won't even see him again and my soul will forever be stuck somewhere I didn't know.

"Does that mean you love me, Romano?" I asked with my eyes full of tears. He wiped the tears off my face and kissed the tip of my nose.

"Of course yes. I love you Jasmine Philip and I will always choose you, regardless of what happened. Evelyn asked me to be with you and protect you at all costs. She is happy in the afterlife, not minding what happened to her when she was alive. Don't ever think that I will abandon you." He replied and his words melted my heart as uncontrollable tears streamed down my face.

"I am deeply sorry for asking you that question, Roman but I meant every word I said to you earlier." He placed his finger on my lips to stop me from speaking again.

"That's enough, Jasmine. What matters at the moment is you are beside me and I have chosen you ever my dead mate because I love you. Please forgive me if I acted cold towards you for these few days." He said as he grabbed my body and hugged me tightly. A sweet smile curved into my lips because of his actions.

"I love you so much, Romano Kelvin." I said as he broke the embrace and cupped my face with his hand.

"I love you more, Jasmine Philip." He replied as he took my lips and started kissing me. I wrapped my hand around his neck and responded to his passionate kiss. Tears of joy stream down my as I was happy that I am loved by this Alpha, regardless of what happened to both of us in the past.

We went back to the masquerade ball ceremony and the intimate kiss between my husband and I. He was holding my hand as we entertained all the guests and I couldn't explain the happiness I felt at the moment. My husband is back to his sweet personality again and I am so overwhelmed by it.

"Do you want something to eat, my darling?" He asked and I shook my head responding to him. A smirk curled to my lip at the thought of being naughty.

"What about eating your cock?" I asked and he smirked at my question.

"You are being naughty, Jasmine." He said as he grabbed my hand and pulled me into the dancing floor. My heart pounded when he placed my hand on his shoulder while his hand wrapped around my waist.

"Romano….." I called his name and it made him stare deep into my eyes.

"What is the problem?" He asked me.

"Is about Evelyn….." I couldn't finish my sentence as he covered my mouth with his finger.

"That's enough, Jasmine. Let us not talk about her anymore, okay? Evelyn is fine where she is now." He said and I smiled.

"Your dead mate is a kind-hearted woman. She is not upset with me for taking you away from her and I am pleased to know that she likes me." I said and he pulled my body closer to him and then rested his forehead against mine. I closed my eyes as I felt his hot breath hitting my face.

"My dead mate likes you because she knew how kind you are. The reason that my heart learned to love again is because of the kindness you showed to me. I am more grateful to have you in my life and whatever happens, always remember that I love you and will always choose you." He said and my eyes became teary again. He wiped the tears in my eyes and gave me a peck on the lips.

"I love you so much, Romano and you are the best Alpha I have ever met. Your imperfections are not a burden for me to love you more." I said and he gave me a sweet smile as he cupped my face with his hands. He looked me deep in the eyes and I could feel his love for me and now I am convinced that he truly loves me.

"I love you so much, Jasmine and you, the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. Losing you will make my life miserable and I swear to you that I will always protect you against those that are planning to harm you." He responded and the uncontrollable tears kept streaming down my face, he wiped the tears off and it made me chuckle. He was about to say something when someone uttered a word behind us.

"Alpha Romano." My heart skipped hearing that familiar voice. It was as if I had heard that voice before. Romano released me from his grip and turned around to see the woman that just spoke. I slowly turned my body and my eyes widened seeing her face.

"Evelyn." Romano called and my mouth opened widely.

"My name is Eve, Alpha Romano and I have something to tell you." She said and my fist clenched. Her behaviour and actions seem weird and I have seen her at the mall before. She claims that her name is Eve and I can't understand why Romano was addressing her as Evelyn. Who is this woman?

"Goodness, is that you, Evelyn?" Romano asked her.

"Alpha Romano, my name is Eve and I am not Evelyn." She replied and confusion was written all over my face. I don't understand why my husband is calling her his dead mate's name.

"You look like her and also sounded like her voice. I know it is definitely you, Evelyn." He said and I think I am beginning to understand what was happening.

"It is also the reason why I came here, Alpha Romano. I have something to tell you." She said and it is as if I am not existing anymore as Romano's attention was focused on the woman that looks like his dead mate.

"I can't believe this." Romano said and to my surprise, he grabbed the woman and hugged her tightly. It almost crushed my heart into pieces.

"Your dead mate, Evelyn, constantly appears in my dreams, Alpha Romano and I can't understand the reason why she showed up. It seems like I was her reincarnation." She said and my jaws clenched. I can't believe that the woman whom I encountered at the mall has the same face as my husband's dead mate. I think this is why she looked so familiar to me.

"Her reincarnation? Evelyn and I just spoke yesterday and she didn't mention anything about her reincarnation." Romano said as he seemed to be doubting her words.

"I don't know, Alpha Romano. I have been looking for you all over the place and someone told me that you are the Alpha of Snow Moon Pack. When I discovered it, I didn't waste time finding you." She said and it seems like Romano had almost forgotten that I was beside him.

I knew that he felt overwhelmed seeing his dead mate look alike. His excitement couldn't be hidden from his face and I could feel that he cares so much for his dead mate. It is not like I don't want him to see her again but the thought of this strange woman calming herself as the reincarnation of his dead mate seems difficult to believe. I don't trust her words and the first time I met, I knew she was a strange woman.
