Chapter 9



Jasmine


"Don't mess with me, Jasmine." He said as he pulled me onto him and kissed me.

I was caught off guard of what he just did. My eyes widened and my legs started trembling in astonishment. I held onto his waist to support my trembling body, my heart started beating too rapidly on my chest. I closed my eyes as I responded to his addictive kiss and it was as if time stopped when he started playing with my tongue. My heart was pounding on my chest and my knees got weaker and I was holding onto his waist to support my body. I was focused on how soft his lips were against mine as I don't even understand how he immediately invaded all my senses. My body tingles when I felt his frame leaning on me and his hand wrapped around my waist. I was lost in his kiss and it made me forget myself. Kissing Romano is my weakness.

"I told you that you should not mess with me, Jasmine." He said as he pulled away from the kiss and I bent my head immediately to hide my face from him so he wouldn't kiss me again.

"I hate you." I murmured as I heard him chuckle.

"That is my strength, making all the women attracted to me." He said before walking away. It took me like fifteen seconds before I recovered from the shock. I wandered my eyes around the environment and the strand of my hair stood up.

"Wait, Romano." I call but he is already far away from me. I was about to run but I felt pain on my foot, I sat on the ground and grimaced in pain.

"Damn this foot!" I murmured to myself and tried to get up but I was off balance. I was about to fall on the ground when someone caught me. I turned and saw the handsome face of Roamno, he was staring at me and I was caught off guard seeing how cute he is.

"See, you do need me, Jasmine." He said and I just bit my lower lips. My heart was already beating so loudly as he carried me in a bridal style. He carried me to where he parked the car and I can still feel how fast my heart was pounding seeing him carry me like his bride.

"You are just imagining things, Jasmine." I murmured to myself as I tried to wave off the thoughts of him in my head. He shouldn't be the one I am thinking about, I should avoid him being in my thoughts.

"Does your ankle hurt?" He asked immediately, he dropped me on the seat of the car as I was biting my lower lips. I slowly nodded, responding to him.

He started massaging my foot and it made my heart beat too rapidly. It felt so good to be taking care of.

"Hope next time you watch every step you take. You are so clumsy." He said and I can't stop rolling my eyes at him as he scolded me.

"You are not my mother, stop scolding me,Romano." I murmured and he raised his head as he glared daggers at me.

"Anyways, I have some important things to tell you." He said and I stared at him.

"Can we make an agreement?" He added and I shook my head. I just remembered the deal we made before going to the dinner party.

"Spill it out." I replied and he took a deep breath before speaking.

"I just want to tell you that I won't ever fall in love with you, Jasmine. Don't think that if ever I was being sweet with you means that I have felt something for you." He said and I just burst out laughing.

"Oh well, I would also like to remind you that, I won't also fall in love with a sex boy Alpha like you. We are just married on paper, so don't overthink." I replied and he was staring at me blankly.

"I hope it is clear to you that you can't replace my dead mate in my heart. Please don't ever disrupt everything I did. You can do whatever you want and I will also do whatever I want. If you want to go shopping, then I will give you money but that is all. Don't try to stop me from bringing different women at home." He said and a deep breath escaped from my mouth. Did I ever tell him to stop bringing his mistress into our home? I don't even give a damn for what he chose to do with his life.

"No one is stopping you, Romano." I said sarcastically and I thought he was going to be upset about how I sounded but I was shocked by what he did next. He just smirked.

"I have needs to but if you would offer yourself as my sex slave, then I will stop bringing different women in our home." He said and my face reddened.

"That won't ever happen. You will be the lucky man if I ever offer myself to you." I said and he laughed that I was tempted to strangle him.

"I really love teasing you, Jasmine. Honestly, I enjoyed it a lot." He said and he started the engine of the car. I took a deep breath and turned my gaze to the window side.

"I have something to ask you, Roamno." I said and he turned to me.

"What is it?" I heaved a deep breath before replying.

"I just need one favour from you….." I paused, to gather more strength to spill the words out of my mouth.

"If you are bringing your mistress at home, please choose a room that is far from me. I hated hearing your moans." Finally, I have said it.

"No problem." He replied and I sighed deeply.

It is really weird that I felt strange from his response and I can't explain to myself why I am feeling this way, still hoping that he would stop bringing his mistress home.

"Don't worry because I won't forget what our agreement was today but if ever any of your mistresses insults me, don't be shocked if I did something she doesn't like." He said while gritting my teeth and he laughed.

"Let us go home now." He said.

I felt guilty because I ruined the dinner party we attended. He was able to attend the party but I can't understand why I am blaming myself if he didn't enjoy the party. It was all his fault because if he didn't kiss that Janet, I won't run away and maybe I won't be able to see Charlie's face after a long time.

"Will you be honest with me, Roamno. How many women did you sleep with in a day?" I asked and it made the driver match the break immediately.

"What kind of question is that, Jasmine? Of course I slept with only one woman per day." He replied and I can't hold back my laughter anymore.

I don't know the reason but I just laughed at how he reacted when I asked him that.

"You are so funny." I said and he arched his left brow.

"Keep quiet or I will kiss you now!" He warned and I shut my mouth immediately because I don't want him to kiss me again and I could feel my face reddened already.

We drove in silence until we reached home and I got out of the car immediately and started heading to the house. My ankle feels better now and Romano was following me from behind. I didn't bother turning back because I wanted to avoid him. As soon as I opened the door, I saw a woman sitting on the couch and her attention towards us. My blood boiled again when I saw her face. It was Janet and I can't believe she is here in my house. What is she doing here?

"Hey, Romano!" She screamed and walked towards us. My mouth agape when I saw how she hugged Romano. I clenched my fist and it felt like I wanted to smash her face.

"What are you doing here, Janet?" Romano asked, pretending that he had no idea why she would come to the house. I really wanted to scold him but I held back. What a great pretender!

"Enjoy your night, Romano. Goodnight!" I said and continued walking to my room.

"I hope the two of you die." I murmured to myself as I entered my room.
