Jasmine

"Tell me it is not true, Romano." She said as she came closer to him and was about to grab his hand but Romano distanced himself from her. He came closer to me instead and wrapped his hand around my waist.

"What did she do to you, my love?" He asked me and I glanced over to Disha before responding to him.

"Nothing, she just claimed that you are her fiance but I told her that I am your wife." I responded to him. To save her, I didn't tell him the whole truth because I knew he would be mad at her.

"Is that true, Disha? You are claiming me as your fiance? How dare you say that to my wife?" He asked and I could feel the intensity in his voice.

"She is just making up stories, Romano. You are not married and one more thing, you promised my father that you are going to marry me." She said as tears began to steam down her face. She is crying and I could feel her pain but still what she did was wrong, claiming my husband to be her fiance.

"My wife is making up stories? She won't lie to me and never charge her for something she will never commit." Romano said and I bent my head to hide my face from her. It is hard for me to see a fellow woman crying because of a man, it is hurting me. I remembered my twin sister and I am still hoping that I will find her someday.

"Please believe me, Romano. She is only lying, break up with her and be mine, please." She begged and I raised my head and looked at her. I felt pity for her.

"You are a crazy desperate woman Disha. Get out of my office now!" Romano screamed and I was nervous because of his tone. He is mad and I don't know what will happen next if Disha refuses to leave.

"You really think that I will let you escape from me? I am a daughter of an Alpha and I will never let this pathetic human being take you away from me. I will kill her myself!" Disha yelled as she ran towards me. I was about to flounder when she pointed a gun on my head, I was scared to death.

"Put the gun down, Disha!" Romano screamed but she didn't listen and was still pointing the gun at me.

"No, not until you tell this bitch that you are going to break up with her and marry me." She and I could feel my pounding loudly inside my chest as I could feel the intense between the two.

"I will but first put the gun down and come with me." Romano said and I turned my gaze to him. I could feel my heart shattered because of what he just said.

"Really?" Disha asked as she lowered her grip on my neck. She was about to turn her gaze towards Romano and I got the chance to punch her in the stomach and ran to my husband. His friends came and grabbed the gun away from her as they dragged her out of the office.

"Are you okay?" He asked me and I glared at him.

"Will you give in to her demands? Will you break up with me, Romano?" I asked but he just chuckled.

"Of course not, I just said that to get her attention and it worked, you are safe now." He said and I felt relieved.

"Damn you Romano, you fooled me!" My turn to Disha as she screamed. Ashton and Romano's friends were holding her so she can't do anything now because she can't escape from them.

"You threatened my wife and I would like to tell you, Disha, that I love my wife and I will never replace her with you." He said and his words almost melted my heart out of happiness.

"This is not the end yet, Romano. You will fall in my trap again, I will make sure of that. I will tell my father to end the alliance with your Pack." She threatened him and I glanced over to Romano but he didn't care at all.

"My Pack would be alright without other Packs. I am a powerful Alpha and no one can beat me, not even your father. Go ahead Disha, tell your father and I will never negotiate with him." He said to her and I bent my head. I feel guilty because of what happened, it is my fault that she is threatening us.

"Just tell me, Romano, that you are going to choose me and I promise you that I will not tell my father about it. Please end your relationship with your wife and marry me." She said to him.

"No, that will never happen. I will never replace Jasmine with anyone let alone you." Romano replied and I glanced over to Disha. She looked so pathetic the way she was staring at my husband.

"What should we do about her, Alpha Romano?" Ashton asked and I glanced over to Romano. He looked at me like he was asking me the same question.

"What do you think, Jasmine?" He asked me and I swallowed my saliva before responding to him.

"Spare her life, Romano. Don't kill her and I am convinced that she won't do that again." I replied and he smiled.

"You should be grateful, Disha, that my wife is a kind-hearted woman. She still cares about you. Just throw her away from this land and don't ever let her enter this Pack again." He said and a smile curved into my lips.

"This is not the end yet. I will make sure to come back and take away what is mine. Our path will cross again, Jasmine. Remember that." She threatened and Ashton and others dragged her out of the office. I heaved a sigh as they went out of our sight.

"Don't overthink about her threats, Jasmine." Romano as he wrapped his hand around my waist and I smiled.

"Women are obsessed with you, Romano." I said and he spun me around, my eyes locked with his and my heart almost melted because of how he stared at me.

"Yes, a lot but I am obsessed with only one woman……" He paused his sentence and my heart skipped a bit.

"I am obsessed only with Jasmine Philip." He added and it made me lick my lips.

"Can you promise, Romano, that you will not abandon me again?" I asked and he squeezed me.

"Yes, I promise you, my darling. I won't ever waste your love ever again. What happened in the past would be a lesson that will teach me to cherish every time, every second and hour I spent with you." He replied and I blushed. I could feel within my heart his sincerity to the words he just said. I trusted him and I know that he is going to fulfill his words.

"I am scared about her threats, Romano. A lot of women have already threatened us and one of them was my twin sister." I said and he cupped my face and looked deep into my eyes.

"Don't worry about it, Jasmine because even if everyone threatens us, I will assure you that they won't hurt you because I won't allow them to come near you." He reassured me as he pulled me to his embrace. I needed to trust him and I know he won't let anything bad happen to me.

We went back home to the mansion after what happened at the office. He never leaves me out of his sight even if just a second. We are at dinner at the moment eating our lunch when his friends arrived and interrupted us.

"Hey!" Tim and Harry said and I stared at Romano, his mood has changed because of his friend's arrival.

"What are you guys doing here?" He asked them in his cold voice.

"Aren't you missing us, Alpha Romano?" Tim asked in his teasing tone and Romano glared daggers at him.

"No, get out of my house, dumbass." He replied and I looked at him with my questioning stare. I couldn't believe that he became so rude towards his friends.

"You must be grateful that we love you, Romano. Well, we won't ask for your approval to let us join you guys at the dinner table." Harry said as he sat down on the dinner chairs and Tim followed him as well and Romano heaved a sigh.

"We are leaving after this." He said and his friends looked at him, disbelievingly.

"Where are we going?" I asked him and he placed his hand on top of mine, it made me lick my lips.

"We are going to the grocery store to buy food stuff for the house." He replied and it brightened my face. I like the idea and I can't wait to buy things that we need in the house.

"Why are you the one to buy such things when the workers can do that, Romano?" Tim asked and Romano glared at him. Tim averted his gaze from him out of fear.

"Why are you complaining, Tim? If you want, you can stay back." Romano replied and it made him fake a smile.

"I am just kidding, Romano. So are we leaving now?" Tim asked and Harry scolded him.

"You are such an idiot, Tim." Harry said and pulled me away from us.

"We will wait for the two of you outside, Alpha Romano." Harry added as they left the dinner table abruptly
