Jasmine

The next morning, I woke up with my head aching. I closed my eyes again as the light from the bulb hit my fuzzy eyes and my stomach was growling hunger. My head was really aching so much that I grimaced in pain and carefully massaged my head.

"So you are finally awake." I immediately lifted my head when I heard that familiar voice. My eyes widened when I saw Romano leaning at the door with his hand in his pocket. He was staring at me blankly and I was having difficulties reading his mind.

"What happened last night? Who brought me home?" I asked, trying to remember what happened last night.

"You don't remember anything?" He asked and I couldn't stop myself from swallowing my saliva.

All I could remember was meeting my friends in our favorite spot and the alcohol I consumed. I could remember my head was spinning and I almost fell down before someone caught me. He is quite a handsome guy and the smell still fills my nostrils. The manly cologne he used was addictive.

"Did a man bring me home?" I asked and he raised his left brow.

"Yes, he is my friend, Kenneth." He replied and my eyes widened. I can remember everything that happened last night now, it was Kenneth who carried me.

"Where are my friends?" I asked and he was still staring at me blankly.

I took a deep breath when I remembered that he was the reason I drowned myself in alcohol.

"They are already in the main corridor waiting for you to wake up. They slept here last night." He replied and I nodded.

I stood up from the bed heading to the bathroom to have my bath and he was still standing beside the door with his arms crossed and his gaze on me. I was about to surpass him and go inside the bathroom when he dragged my hand and slammed me to the door.

"What do you want?" I asked with a serious tone. He thinks that I have forgotten how he thrust the woman he have sex with last time.

"What is your problem, Jasmine? Why are you always disobeying my rules?" He asked angrily and I couldn't stop myself from grinning at him.

"Why do you care, Romano? I remember you telling me that I am just your replacement mate and you said that I can do whatever I wanted to do." I said and glared daggers at me.

"Yes, but I warned you that you are not allowed to flirt with any other man, especially with my friends." He said and my blood boiled because of that, I pushed him away from me.

"How dare you say that to me? Have you ever seen me stopping you from bringing your mistress in this house and now you are telling me not to flirt with other men? How dare you say that to me, Romano?" I asked and I couldn't stop myself from raising my voice.

This man kept irritating me, he is hard to deal with, hard to understand and I am facing difficulties just because of his attitude.

"Don't get me upset, Jasmine. I am still your Alpha and you are just my replacement mate. Follow my others and that is final." He said and was about to leave when I responded to him.

"To hell with you, Romano! You are really getting on my nerves!" I yelled and he held my wrist, he looked at me dangerously.

The way he was staring at me, it seems like he wanted to kill me. His eyes are blazing in anger.

"Say it again." He said in a serious tone and I was shocked. My mouth agape because of how he sounded.

"To hell with you, Romano!" I repeated and he slammed me to the wall while his lips crushed mine.

He was kissing me and my eyes widened, my legs were getting weaker and my heart in chaos. To prevent myself from melting, I immediately gripped his shirt.

"You are mine, Jasmine." He said the moment he pulled away from the kiss and walked away. I was left dumbfounded and I couldn't even move my legs as I was touching my lips. It seems like I could still feel his soft lips on my mouth.

Say it again your ass! I murmured and I walked to the bathroom to have a shower but I could still remember how he acted earlier. He is hard to understand and he always acts so differently, like he wanted to mark me as his own. I thought he didn't care about me, he was cold to me yesterday and was also avoiding me but look at how he acted now. The moment I woke up, he was there at my door. Wait a minute, is he the one that brought me to my room last night? Does it mean he was the one that covered me with the blanket? My heartbeat quickened as I thought about it and I was biting my bottom lips as I could memorize his handsome face.

It took me thirty minutes to get my bath done and I came out, wearing only a towel. To my surprise, I saw Romano sitting at the edge of the bed and he was staring at me. My heartbeat quickened again because of the shock.

"W….what are you doing here?" I asked and he stood up from the bed. He started walking towards my direction with a smirk on his face and I grip the towel that was only covering my nakedness.

"Why? Don't you want me here?" He asked as he was already close to me and pulled the towel, revealing my nakedness and my face flushed.

"W…what are you doing?" I asked, trying to cover my nakedness but he slammed me again to the wall and his face was an inch away from mine.

He lowered his face to kiss me while his eyes tamed me to respond to what he was about to do. I stared at his ocean blue eyes and I could feel myself being hypnotized and lost. His hand wrapped around my waist and it gave me an unfamiliar tingling sensation the moment that his hand parted to mine. He leaned down and was about to kiss me when we heard the door of the room open.

"Alpha." He called and my face flushed as I realized who he was.

"Oh shit, I am sorry." Ashton apologized.

"Ashton, I am going to kill you one day!" Romano shouted thunderously.

I buried my face immediately in Romano's face when I heard him scream to his Beta. Ashton came inside without asking permission and I could feel my face reddened because of what he did.

"My apologies, Alpha." He said, bowing his head. Romano picked up the towel and covered my body and I buried my face in shame because of what just happened.

"What do you want, Ashton? Don't you have a hand to knock before stepping inside the room?" He said in a serious tone and glanced at Ashton, he was trying so hard to avoid Romano's gaze. He was scared that he might be punished for being so careless.

"I just wanted to tell you that the car is ready, Alpha." He said and I raised my eyebrows.

"Are you leaving again?" I asked and he turned to me with a smile on his face and I was confused.

"No, we are leaving. It is a day for me to stroll you throughout the land. You are my wife, remember." He replied and I couldn't help but bite my lower lips.

"Let me emphasize your sentence." I said and he furrowed his brows.

"Just your replacement mate." I added and he sighed deeply.

"I will wait for you downstairs together with your friends. Don't keep me waiting, Jasmine." He said and walked away, I watched him till he vanished from my sight.

I got dressed in more comfortable clothes since he said we are going for a stroll around the Pack. I came out of my room, heading downstairs and my heart was beating so loudly in my chest when I remembered my friends. I am scared that they might ask Romano about the nonsense I blurted out yesterday. I just hope that they didn't remember any of my words. I walked through the hallway and found my friends sitting at the couch, their attention was focused on me and I suddenly blushed when they smirked, like they were teasing me.
