"We can go home now, I am fine and my wounds are healed now. Look, I am the Alpha and this wound of mine is just nothing." He replied and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Don't be hard-headed, Romano. Your wounds are still bleeding and you have to stay here at least three days." I said as I checked his wounds.

"Yes, my Queen but if you promise to take care of me, I am certain that I can recover fast." He said.

"Fine, I will stay here and take good care of you, Demon Alpha." I replied and he stared at me.

"My Queen, it is Alpha Romano not Demon Alpha." He said and that made me chuckle.

It seems so good to laugh again after five months of grieving because of him. He shattered my heart into pieces in the past and I can't believe that he will be the one to fix it. Also, it seems so good to see him changing into a better human being. I knew I will never regret giving him another chance to prove himself to me. I am glad to hear that a demon like him is willing to change just because of love.

I wasn't expecting this day would ever come that he will be willing to admit how much he loves me. Although it saddened me that my sister was hurt because of us, I am still grateful that he chose me over her. I will do my best to settle my relationship with my twin sister because I won't allow our relationship to ruin just like that.

One week had passed since my husband had the accident and I was back home to his house and we were living fine now. My twin sister is nowhere to be found, I have been trying to locate her but all my efforts to find her were in vain. I blamed myself for losing my twin sister. Romano has become a better person now and he promised me he will never bring any of his mistresses to our home again. I am happy that he is willing to do everything just to prove to me how much he loves me. Who would think that a demon like him will learn to love a human being like me.

I am not famous, I am rich and most especially, I am just a human being who falls in love with an Alpha. All I thought was that he would never fall in love with me because of my identity and it was humane that killed his mate. But to my surprise, he still chooses me, he loves me despite what happened to his dead mate.

"Good morning, my love." I was back to my senses when I heard his voice. I glanced over to him and his handsome face is what I saw, a smile curled to my lips seeing him.

"Good morning, Demon." I murmured and he stared at me. He didn't like it when I called him a demon.

"Stop calling me demon, Jasmine." He said as he made a face and I chuckled because of that. He wrapped his hand around my waist and I blushed.

"It is still early, Romano." I said when I noticed something with his grin.

"What? I am not doing anything yet, I am just so happy to wake up every day with you by my side, my love." He said and I just smiled.

"I am happy too, Romano. We have become so different now, I can remember the first time we met." I said and he burst out laughing.

"Well, you loathe me when we first met, didn't you?" He asked and I couldn't stop myself from smiling remembering the scene that took place when we met. I just remembered how I hated him that time and it doesn't matter to me then if he is the Alpha or not.

"It is because you were known to be a virgin hunter Alpha." I replied and he just smirked.

"Yes, I am such a jerk for being like that. Come on, my love, we need to get up from the bed because we have a business matter to attend to." He said and my face lightened up hearing that from him.

"Are you taking along to your office?" I asked and he nodded his head, responding to me.

"Yes, you are coming with me so get up now and let's take a shower together." He said I smiled.

He pulled my hand to the bathroom and I had no other choice than to follow him. We took our bath together while playing with each other's bodies. As soon as we were done, we came out of the bathroom and changed to something presentable as we stepped out of our room. Ashton and Romano's friends were for us in the corridor.

"Alpha Romano, Miss Jasmine." They all chorus together and I smiled, responding to them.

"The car is ready," Ashton said and he just nodded his head.

We walked out of the house and headed to where the car was parked. I don't know where our destination was, all that matters to me is that Romano and I were together. As long as I am with him, that is all that matters. He still gripped my hand even as we were already inside the car. We drove off and yet he was still holding my hand. We remained quiet throughout the drive, not until Ashton matched his foot on the break without reducing the speed of the car. Romano held my waist and it prevented me from almost hitting my head on the seat in front of me.

"What is your problem, Ashton!" Romano exclaimed.

"We are being ambushed, Alpha Romano." He said and it made me glance through the road and my eyes widened to what I saw. I saw men standing in front of the car and they were all wearing black, holding different types of guns and pointing it in our direction. My heart jumped out of my chest seeing the scene in front of me.

"Damn it!" Romano exclaimed as he held my hand so tight.


"Who are they, Romano?" I asked and he looked at me with his worried face.

"Whatever happened, please don't get out of the car. Hide below the seat and let me take care of it." He said and I just nodded my head responding to him.

He was about to leave when I held my hand and gave me a kiss and I blushed because of that. I was tempted to take a glance of what is happening out there because I was worried about my husband. His opponents were with guns and Romano was only using his wolf form.

"Goodness! He is ruthless!" I murmured as I witnessed how he wrecked the heads of his enemies away from their bodies. The way he was touring their bodies, he looked so terrifying and heartless.

I can't believe how he killed all the men that just appeared in front of us. But come to think of it, how did they know the road we were going to pass? I was in deep thoughts that I didn't notice when one of them came in front of me and opened the door of the car.

"Get down!" He yelled and it made my body shivered in nervousness. I am just a careless woman for not noticing when one of them was approaching in my direction.

To save my life, I obediently came out of the car and followed him. He pointed the gun at me as he pushed me to where Romano was. A loud growl echoed in the road when Romano saw that they had captured me.

"Release her!" He screamed and my mouth widened when I heard his voice. His voice echoed throughout the whole area and it surprised me how he could do that.

This was my first time knowing that a wolf can talk. The man that was holding me didn't even listen and then in just a blink of an eye, Romano grabbed the neck of the man that wanted to harm me. It shocked me and I was still standing in front of him watching how he tore the human body of the man into pieces.

I was in shock for a while that I didn't notice when Romano and his friends were done killing all their enemies. He grabbed my waist and that brought me back from my shock.

"Are you alright, Jasmine? Did he hurt you?" He asked and I shook my head responding to him. I could see from the expression on his face that he is really worried about me. I smiled knowing how he cared about me.

"Yes, I am fine, Romano. Don't worry about me and we should keep going now." I said and he chuckled.

He held my hand and I just bit my bottom lips. It is as if nothing happened. I looked around the surroundings and I could see the dead bodies of the men that attacked us, scattered everywhere. They were all covered with their bodies. A heaved sign escaped from my mouth and Romano stopped when he heard me sighed.
