Jasmine

"Who owns the Pack, Romano?" I asked my husband and he sighed before responding.

"It belongs to Evelyn's family, my dead mate and his brother is my mortal enemy. Our Pack were allies but everything changed when I lost his sister. They become angry towards me after her death and her brother is now treating me as his enemy." He said to me and I nodded my head. He held my hand as we walked towards his Pack members that had been waiting for us.

"We are so glad to see you, Alpha Romano and Luna Jasmine." One of them said and I guess he must be their leader.

"I heard the news of what was happening here and we didn't waste time coming here. I would like to transfer you all to my safest land. This place is not safe for all of you, especially now that Nelson's Pack has begun attacking other Packs." Romano said to them and they all bowed their heads.

"The east mountain has been our home, Alpha Romano and it is hard for us to move out of this place." They said and my heart almost broke down. I could feel the sadness in their voices. They don't want to leave this place that they have considered home but Romano is right, they need to leave the east mountain because it is a dangerous place.

"I am your Alpha king and all of you must follow my orders. This place is not safe for you all. Many of you have lost their lives because of that freaking Pack of Nelson." He said as he pointed towards Nelson's Pack.

"Alpha Romano is right. Don't worry because we have already prepared shelter for you all in our land and you all are safe over there." I said and it made them stare at me, my heart pounded inside my chest out of nervousness.

"The Alpha and Luna are right. We need to follow them because this place is not safe anymore. It is time for us to let go of the east mountain and start our lives in our Alpha's land. One of them responded and a smile curled up to my lips watching them nodding their heads in agreement with us.

"The choppers are already her, Alpha Romano." Dennis, his Delta said and it made us look above the sky. My mouth opened wide seeing so many choppers descending our way.

"We need to leave now because we still have a mission to accomplish." Romano said and we helped his Pack members get into the choppers. I can't believe that Romano will bring choppers to rescue them and it was enough for us to ride back home. In just half an hour, all his Pack members had gotten into the choppers and we also did the same thing. My husband helped me hop and we started our destination back home. My friends and his were on the same chopper with us while my sister and her companions were on a different chopper.

I am happy that our first mission was successful. We were able to convince them to move into our land. I am so happy for our achievement, I know they were against moving out the east mountain but they don't have any other choice. The east mountain was there and they have already gotten used to living there. I didn't notice that I was already in deep thoughts not until Romano placed his hand on mine. It brought me back to my senses and he looked at me with his worried face.

"Are you okay?" He asked and I nodded my head and he rested my head on his shoulder and I didn't notice when I had already fallen asleep.

In a few hours, I woke up when someone patted my shoulder. The handsome face of my husband is what I saw again, it made me smile.

"Wake up sleepyhead. We are already home." Romano said and it made me wander my eyes throughout the surroundings and I saw that the choppers we rode had already landed in front of our mansion.

"I didn't notice that we were already at home." I said and he chuckled. He went down first and helped me to get down from the chopper and he carried me even before my foot could reach the ground. I bit my lips because of what he did and I didn't complain.

"Jasmine, I want to stay in the mansion, okay? We need to rescue the half-blood kind because they are already here." Romano said to me and my mouth opened wide remembering them. They are already here and I felt worried about my husband going into another mission.

"Can I come with you?" I asked him but he just sighed.

"It will be hard for me to fight if you are beside me. This place is the safest place for you to stay. Don't worry, I told Ashton to take your sister and her companions to the other mansion. They don't know this place." He said to me and I nodded my head responding to him.

"I will be fine, I promise and when I return, we will have a baby because I am indeed an heir, Jasmine." He said and my face reddened.

"You are naughty again." I said to him and he then took my lips and kissed me.

"I will always love you, Jasmine and whatever happens, you are the only woman in my heart. No one can ever replace you in my heart." He said as he kissed my forehead. His words made me emotional and it looks like something is about to happen.

"I love you too and I will always do." I replied as he kissed the back of my hand and then walked out of our room. I signed deeply after he walked out of my sight. I sat down on the edge of the for about five minutes before deciding to take a bath to cool my nerves.

My friends were downstairs and I needed to talk to them. I really need their company now because I wanted to wash away all the bad thoughts that were running through my head. This is not right, I am thinking negatively again and I hate myself for feeling this way.

Romano Pov.

My team succeeded in our mission of rescuing the lives of the half-blood kind. Nelson wasn't aware that we sneaked into his Pack and he really thinks that I am unaware of the secret passage to his Pack. The half-blood kind were already back to their homes and I flooded securities in their land so that Nelson's Pack would never attack them again. I was on my way back to the mansion where I left my wife and I can't wait to see her.

"You are excited, right?" Kenneth asked and I smirked at him.

"Of course, I am excited to see my wife." I replied to him. Harry and Tim were just sitting quietly at the back and it made me furrow my brows at them. I noticed them being like that since we rescued the half-blood kind.

"Why are the two of you so quiet?" I asked them and they swallowed hard their saliva. It was as if they were shocked with my question.

"Nothing, we are fine, Alpha Romano." Tim replied but I wasn't yet convinced.

I will talk to them later because I have something to ask them. I increased the speed of my car to reach my mansion as quickly as possible. We got to the mansion and I told Harry and Tim to follow me to my office. I sat down on my chair while facing the door. Tim and Harry arrived shortly and the brown envelope they were holding caught my attention.

"How was your mission? Did you get any information about my wife's parents?" I asked them.

Yes, I asked them to investigate Jasmine's parents because I wanted to know why they are not treating her as their own child. Jasmine is a kind-hearted woman and she doesn't deserve a cold treatment from her parents.

"Please tell us that you won't freak, Alpha Romano." Harry said on his serious face and I arched my brow at him.

"Please tell me about it before I lose my patience." I said to them and Tim dropped the brown envelope in front of me and it made me sighed. I picked the envelope and scanned my eyes inside it. My eyes widened when I saw a picture of Jasmine and her twin sister, Juliet with unfamiliar faces of a middle-aged man and woman. They weren't their parents.

Goodness, my head started aching seeing the pictures. They looked so happy in it. But what does this mean?

"Jasmine and Juliet's parents now we're not their biological parents. They were just adopted children of the Philip family. That explains why they were not treating them as the members of their family. Harry said and I clenched my jaw.
