Jasmine

"You are not him." She said as she tried removing my grip from her wrist but I tightened my hold.

"Don't mess with me, woman. Stay away from him because the man you wanted to flirt with is my husband." I said and she stared at me, disbelievingly.

"Your husband?" She asked and it made me grin.

"That is why I am warning you, before you approach a man, better know if he is taken or not. If you lay your hands on my man again, you will never like me when I am mad. So better don't mess with me, is that clear?" I asked and she nodded her head as she scurried away from us without saying another word. I smirked and shook my head. I felt a hand wrapped around my waist afterwards and I smiled.

"You look so adorable when you are upset, my darling." Romano and I chuckled.

"Stop teasing me, Romano. It is not funny anymore. Women kept chasing you." I said and he chuckled.

"It is because your husband is a handsome Alpha and even if I tried avoiding them, they still kept coming." He replied and I shook my head. I understand him, women used to approach him even if he did nothing. He is handsome, that is the fact that can't be denied. His charismatic appearance would make women attracted to him.

"Getting used to it is the best thing I can do but if they dared to lay their hands on you, that would be different." I said and he just kissed me on the lips. A lot of things happened today but thank goodness, I am a strong woman. I was able to overcome all the hardship I have gone through.

"Don't be mad at me, okay?" He asked and I nodded my head responding to him. He was about to kiss me again but sometimes spoke behind us.

"This is a public place, Alpha Romano and kissing is prohibited." Harry said and I buried my face in Romano's chest.

"Shut up, Harry or you will taste your flesh." He warned him.

"Wow, I was just kidding, Romano. You can kiss her, it is fine. I swear." He said and I smiled.

"The two of you are really getting on my nerves." He replied as he held my hand.

"It is okay, Alpha Romano. At least we stayed by your side." Tim said and I looked at them.

"Yes, so can we keep moving?" Romano asked and we all nodded.

We continued shopping for the food stuff and other things we needed in the house but in the midst of that, I was still thinking about my parents. It was still hurting me that they abandoned us. My parents never cared about us and it seems sad to say that money is more important to them than their daughter's happiness. They never asked about my situation after they had gotten what they wanted. They pushed me into agreeing to be Romano's replacement mate but I never regretted it. Maybe it is time for me to accept the fact that my parents are like that. They don't care about us but whatever happened, they are still my family.

"Don't you want to buy anything else aside from the food stuff?" Romano asked and his question brought me back from my deep thoughts.

"Nothing else. Let us pay for this." I said and was about to push the cart but he held my hand.

"No, just let Ashton pay for it at the counter." He said and it made me agape. I was about to disagree but he already gave him his credit card and grabbed my hand as we walked out of the mall.

"Why do you let Ashton pay for it? I can do it myself." I asked him and he raised his eyebrows.

"I have something to show you." He replied and I bit my bottom lips.

"What is your plan again, Romano Kelvin?" I asked him.

"You will know it later, darling." He replied as we continued walking out of the mall. I shook my head as I followed him and a grin plastered on my face.


Romano and I walked out of the mall and headed to the parking lobby. He was the one driving the car and it was just the two of us inside. He left his friends and his Beta at the mall. I shook my head at his actions but at the same time, I am excited about his surprise.

"Can you tell me exactly where we are going?" I asked and he just smirked.

"You will find out later, we are already close." He replied and I didn't utter another word. I focused my attention on the road, he placed his hand on top of mine while his other hand was on the handlebar of the car. I tried convincing him to let go of me and focused on the steering but he didn't listen. He never released my hand and I just let him hold it. The car stopped in front of a big and tall building, my mouth wide open seeing such a house.

"We are here, Jasmine." Romano said and I turned my attention to him.

"Where is this place, Roamno?" I asked him.

"Are you ready to enter inside?" He asked and I nodded my head responding to him. We stepped out of the car and I got a clear view of the house.

"This place is so spectacular. Who owns it?" I asked him and chuckled because of my question. I furrowed my brows.

"Silly, this place is ours, Jasmine. This will be our new house now." He said and I just stared at me with my curious reactions.

"Wait, what?" I asked him and he cupped my face with his two massive hands and looked deep into my eyes.

"Yes, my darling. This is our new home. This is where we will create memories together." He said and it is still hard for me to digest it.

"But why are we moving, Romano? What happened to the mansion?" I asked him and he just smiled before responding to me.

"The mansion is in a mess, Jasmine. I want to make a fresh start with you so having a new home would help us forget our past bad memories." He said and tears streamed. I became emotional because of what he just said.

"But we have a lot of memories there too, Romano." I said to him.

"Listen to me, Jasmine. This house will be a big help for us to move on. This is a good start for the both of us to make new happy and unforgettable memories together." He said and I nodded my head responding to me.

"Yes, I really appreciate it, Romano and because I truly love you, I will support everything you want to do." I said and he grabbed my waist. My heart pounded inside my chest as I felt the warmth of his body. I could smell his scent and it made my whole body overreacted.

"This is a fresh start for us, Jasmine. Don't worry because this place is safe and we can do everything we want here and it is close to the Pack where my throne is." He said and I nodded. He held my hand as we continued walking inside the new mansion.

Goodness, this place is so beautiful. Our new home is more beautiful compared to the other mansion. I am certain that Romano and I will make new and unforgettable memories here together. I also noticed that there were so many cars at the parking lobby as well. We walked into the house holding each other's hand and my heart was pounding too rapidly inside my chest as we walked.

"I have asked my men to transfer all our belongings from the old mansion to this one now." He said and I nodded. We walked into the house until we reached the corridor of the house. My mouth opened wide as I saw a lot of men already waiting for our arrival. They bowed down their heads to us as a sign of respect. All of them were new faces but one of them caught my attention. He is so handsome but my husband is more handsome than him.

"Welcome, Alpha Romano and Luna Jasmine." They all murmured together and I smiled. Romano pulled my hand away from them.

"I want to introduce you to our Delta." Romano said and I looked at him curiously. Delta?

"My pleasure to meet you, Luna Jasmine. My name is Dennis, the Delta of the Alpha." He introduced himself and extended his hand and I accepted it as we both shook hands.

"My pleasure to meet you, too." I replied and he smiled.

"If you will excuse me, I need to show my wife our room." Romano said and pulled my hand away from him. We stepped on the stairs together and he wrapped his hand around my waist to support me with the steps I made. I just laughed because of what he did.
