Jasmine

"Romano?" I called out to him as I left the man on the stage and ran towards him.

They were all calling my attention but I didn't listen as I ran faster to reach him. He went to the VIP lounge and I almost bumped my head into the wall before I was able to meet up with him. I followed him to the room and I saw him pouring the wine into his glass.

"Romano." I called his name and he turned towards me. He drank the glass of wine in his hand and stared at me.

"What are you doing here, Jasmine? You are supposed to be at the party." He said and I heaved a sigh.

"I saw you and then I followed you." He put the glass of wine on the table and sat down on the bed.

"You know what, Jasmine? I realized my flaws, I can't do what your dance partner was doing earlier." He said and it saddens me. He isn't mad at me for his tone but he is sad within himself.

"What are you saying?" I asked him as I caressed his face.

"I love you, Jasmine and I realized everything I have done to you in the past, how I made you shed your precious tears." He said and his words softened my heart. He turned his head away from me and looked at the window. I bit my bottom lips and hugged him from behind.

"Don't think about it, Romano because what you did also made me realize that the love I have for you is real and strong. No matter how you hurt me, I still love you." I said to him and he wrapped his hand around my waist.

"Will you still love me if I am still the heartless and lethal Alpha? Will you still love me despite the truth that I am ruthless?" He asked and I nodded my head countless times at him. He carried me and pinned my back to the wall and wrapped my legs around his waist, my face couldn't hide the blush when I felt his hard manhood under as it pressed against my ass.

"Yes, of course, I will still love you. Despite you being the sex boy Alpha, I still can't stop my heart from beating only just for you." I replied and he chuckled.

"That is what we called true love, darling. We fall in love with the person who we never expected because love doesn't choose. I never dreamt to love again after the death of my first mate but look how far fate has brought me. Fate gave you to me and I never regretted having you." He said and his words melted my heart. I couldn't stop myself from shedding tears, he wiped the tears on my face and kissed me on the lips.

"I promise to you, Romano, that I will try my best to love you like your dead mate did." I said and he took my lips again and kissed me passionately. He was about to carry me to the bed when we heard a voice from behind.

"What is the meaning of this, Jasmine?" The voice asked and it made me separate from Romano and turned my attention to where the voice came from. My face blushed seeing my friends and Romano's friends standing in front of the door with confusion written all over their faces.

"Guys, I will explain." I said and the three of them just raised their eyebrows as they crossed their arms and stared at me.

"Are you both together now?" Ciara asked and it made me bend my head. I don't know how I am going to explain it to them. They all knew how I suffered in Romano's hands, they knew how I cried just because of me. Romano wrapped his hand around my waist and pulled me closer to him in front of them and I bit my lower lips.

"Yes, we are back together now and don't worry because I have explained everything that happened before to her." Romano replied and glanced at them to know their reactions.

"Is that so? We don't care if you are the Alpha of this Pack but if you dare to hurt our friend again, we swear to you that we will make life miserable for you." Nina said and I could see the seriousness written all over her face.

"Be rest assured that I will love her for the rest of my life. I won't ever hurt her again, I can assure you that." Romano replied as he pressed my waist against his body. I licked my lips to hide myself from smiling because this isn't the time for me to smile in front of them knowing how serious my friends were.

"Looking forward to that, Alpha Romano. We are doing this because we don't want our friend to be hurt again just like before. We love her and we can't stand seeing her suffering just because of a man." Khloe said and Romano nodded his head countless times responding to her. I understand my friends perfectly well, they are worried about me and I am so grateful to have them always by my side in times of trouble.

"I love Jasmine so much and she is mine now. No one will dare to take her away from me, do you get that boy?" He asked his friends and they nodded their heads responding to him. I chuckled because of what Romano did.

"Don't worry, Romano. We still love our lives." Tim said and we all laughed at his words. Romano said we should leave the room and go back to the party but I was hesitant because of what I did earlier but he was beside me and won't leave me alone so no one will dare to gossip about me when he is with me.

Romano's hand still wrapped around my waist as we entered the party hall. Everyone was enjoying the party like nothing happened earlier, the man I was dancing with earlier was still singing on the stage and his attention was focused on us. Romano extended his hand and asked me to have a dance with him. I licked my lips before nodding my head to him. I agreed to dance with him and he wrapped his left hand around my waist and his other hand was on my shoulder. My heartbeat increased knowing that I was dancing with the man I loved. He gripped my waist as we began to move like other couples on the dance floor and we were both staring at each other's eyes.

"I am so happy to have you, Jasmine. I love you so much and I am willing to start a new life with you. We will rule this Pack together and forever." He said and I smiled.

"I love you too, Romano and I promise to stay beside you. I will always support you and be the shoulder you lean on as you rule the Pack." I said and he caressed my face. We were just one inch away from each other and I could smell his fragrant hot minty breath that was hitting my face.

"A lot of things happened to me, Jasmine. So many things happened that I almost lost my hopes and I can't believe that despite that, I still found you." He said and his words made me emotional as tears dropped down my cheeks. He wiped off my tears with his hand.

"It is my pleasure, Romano. You are such a blessing to me as well because I thought I would never fall in love again after the heartbreak I experienced with Charlie but everything changed when I met you." I said and he took my lips and started kissing me in the midst of the dance floor

He was kissing me passionately in the midst of the party celebration. It was as if no one was there except the two of us. The clock seemed to stop and begin in his arms, I have nothing to worry whenever I am with him. The kiss lasted until he decided to end it and kissed my forehead afterwards.

"I am enjoying dancing with you, My love." He said and it made me smile. His hand was still wrapped around my waist as we continued dancing. My heartbeat kept increasing because of the thought that he is with me. Romano is my happiness and no matter how he hurt me in the past, I will still keep on loving him.

"Excuse me, can I have a dance with this woman again?" I froze at the spot when I heard a male baritone voice behind me. The voice seemed to be familiar and the moment I turned around, my eyes widened. It was still the same man that came out of the band. Each time I looked at him, he looked familiar to me but I couldn't tell where I had seen him and his eyes were telling me that we have met before.
