Chapter 89

Chapter 89

Jasmine

"We should cure her foot." Kenneth said and was about to help my husband but he stopped him.

"I can do it, Kenneth. My wife will be fine and I can cure her myself. Handle the half-blood creatures." Romano said to him and my mouth opened widely. Kenneth distanced himself from me immediately.

"Okay, I am sorry." He apologized but Romano didn't respond to him as we walked towards our tent. My friends followed us and they looked so worried about me.

"Are you sure that it is just a minor wound, Jasmine?" Ciara asked and I nodded my head at her.

"I hope so, Jasmine, because there is no hospital here as we were in the middle of the forest." Khloe said and her words made me laugh.

"You are wounded and you still manage to laugh at us. You are so annoying, Jasmine." Nina added.

"Okay, okay, I know you guys are worried about and I really appreciate you all for your concern but I promise, I am fine. The wound is just minior and my husband can cure it." I said to them and they felt relieved. Romano and I were already inside our tent and my friends were waiting outside, he put me down carefully and brought a medicine kit as he started cleaning my wound. I bit my lips because of the pain as I watched my husband attend to my wound.

"If you are running next time, make sure you watch your steps carefully, Luna." He said to me and sat next to me after cleaning the wound and rested my head on his shoulder. It made me smile.

"I promise that I will be careful next time. The half-blood creatures are still outside, Romano. Maybe you can tell them about your plan that you are not helping them and I know they will respect your decision." I said to him and he stared at me. He was about to say something when someone spoke outside our tent. It caught our attention.

I could hear my sister's voice outside our tent and my heart pounded inside my chest thinking about her.

"Jasmine, are you okay?" She asked me and she was already inside our tent.

"I am fine now, Juliet and don't worry about it. It is just a mild wound." I replied to her and she nodded her head. She looked at my husband with her serious face and my heart pounded inside my chest seeing how my sister was staring at my husband.

"Why not help them, Romano? They are really indeed of your help." She said to him and my mouth opened widely in shock. I turn my gaze to Romano and he is staring at her with his blank expression.

"Who the hell are you to say that to me? My wife and I have talked about it already and she said the same thing so I don't need your opinion. I hope you got that and don't repeat this mistake again." Romano said to me and I lifted my head and stared at my sister's face. She looked so disappointed and hurt and I feel sorry for her.

"I see, I just wanted to convince you to help them and I have no other intention aside from that." She said to him.

"I just want to remind you, Juliet. Not because I allowed you to stay here means that you are going to interact with me. Don't think I am treating you nicely because if you do something that I don't like, I will kill you with no hesitation!" He said to her and I held his hand to calm down his nerves.

"It is fine, Romano because I know she will never create chaos here." I said and looked at me.

"Thank you, Jasmine. We will wait for the two of you outside." My sister said as she walked away from our tent. I took a deep breath before facing Romano. He looked so upset because of what my sister said to him earlier.

"If it is not because of us, Jasmine. I will never allow your twin sister to stay here." He said and it made me hold his hand as I stared deeply into his eyes. The way he looked at me, I could feel the intention in his eyes that he was not in the mood.

"We need to understand Juliet, Romano. Maybe she wants you to do the same thing I said to you before." I said to him and he took a deep breath before responding to me.

"I am sorry, Jasmine, if I become moody again. You know I can't just stop myself from constantly changing my mood." He said and I smiled at him. I caressed his face as he was staring deeply into my eyes.

"I know, Romano and you don't need to apologize to me every time because I am aware that you are a moody Alpha." I said to him and he furrowed his brows while looking at me.

"Moody Alpha?" He asked and it made me chuckle.

"Yes, you are and you look so cute when you are moody." I replied and he held my hand as he pulled me closer to him and kissed the back of my hand. I closed my eyes to feel as if I felt warm being around him. He always made me feel loved every single day regardless of who he was. The love I have for him cannot be replaced with money. He is the only one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

"I know. You don't need to remind me how handsome I am because I knew it already." He said to me and it made me chuckle. He took my lips afterwards and kissed me before we stepped out of our tent to face the half-blood creatures. They were still there and the expression on their faces shattered my heart.

"Alpha Romano…." They called as they all bowed down their heads towards him. I was scared of what might be Romano's decision but I won't force him if he doesn't want to help them.

"I told all of you to leave but you people didn't listen." He growled at them and they bent their heads as they didn't know how to respond to him.

"Romano…." I called his attention and it made him look at me and then winked. My heartbeat increased because of what he did.

"You all should be happy that I have my Luna beside me." He said and it made me look at him with confusion written all over my face.

"If it is not because of my Luna, I will never agree to help your kind." He added and a wide smile curled up to my lips. I wasn't expecting him to say those words, my attention turned towards the half-blood creatures and the reactions on their faces couldn't be explained. They looked so happy with what my husband just said to them and I am also happy that Romano chose to help them regardless of what they did to him in the past.

"Thank you so much, Alpha Romano. You don't know how much it means to us. We are so happy that you changed your mind." One of them said to him.

"No, don't think of me because it was my Luna that convinced me to help you all. She is so kind that she thinks of helping you and you should thank her, not me." He said to them and I bent my head as I couldn't stop myself from blushing.

"You are such a good example of a true kind-hearted Luna. Our kind will forever be grateful for your kindness. The way you convinced Alpha Romano to help us, it was as if you saved the lives of the innocent half-blood kinds." One of them said and tears streamed down my face hearing those words from them. They made me emotional and Romano grabbed my waist as he pulled me closer to him.

"I love you." He whispered into my ear and I became more emotional.

"It is my honor to help. As a Luna, I felt so disheartened hearing that innocent children of your kind were in a dangerous situation." I said to them and to my surprise, all of them knelt in front of me which I never expected to happen.

"You have their trust, my love. Their kind will always respect you." Romano said to me and I licked my lips. I have no intention of getting their trust, their actions really shocked me because I wasn't expecting them to do something like that.

"Please, you all can stand up now. I am not used to all these." I said to them and they all stood up, facing us.

"We vow to you, Alpha Romano and Luna Jasmine that starting from today, our kind will forever serve your Pack. The half-blood kinds are no longer the enemy of Snow Moon Pack." One of them said and Romano nodded his head to them. I smiled.

"After we finish our mission on the east mountain tomorrow, we will go back to my Pack and I will prepare my warriors to attack those that dare to mess your kind. As for now, our team will rescue some wolves trapped in the east mountain." He said to them and they nodded their heads agreeing with him.
