The moment I regained consciousness, the first person I was looking for was my wife, Jasmine.

"Jasmine.." I called her name as I tried to wander my eyes around the room but couldn't find her.

"Romano, thank goodness that you are awake." My gaze turned to where the familiar voice came from and my fist clenched when I saw her face.

"What are you doing here, Juliet?" I asked her in my angry tone. She came closer to me and was about to touch me but I glared daggers at her.

"You are so mean, Romano. Don't you want me here?" I shook my head at her question. I can't believe the confidence she has, I have been trying to get rid of her so many times but she is still here. She won't stop pestering my life.

"I don't need Juliet and don't ever think that you are special to me. Jasmine is the one I love, not you." Her reaction changed because of what I said.

"Why can't you forget her, Romano. What did you find in her that you can't see in me? We have the same face, the same voice but still you don't want me." She already started shedding tears but I don't give a damn about it. Even if she cries out blood in front of me, I still don't care. It is all her fault that my wife left me and I became this cold.

"Yes, both of you might have the same face and voice but the two of you are so different in terms of personality and attitude. Your twin sister is a kind-hearted woman and she is owned by heart but you...." I paused for a while.

"You are pathetic and psychopath and most especially, you don't have a space within my heart." I smirked at her.

"You really think that my sister still loves you, Romano? She doesn't care about you anymore. She told me earlier that I should be the one taking care of you because you don't care about you anymore." Her words shattered my heart in pain. My fist clenched but when I thought about what she said, I realized that she is just fooling me.

Jasmine is not like that and I know she still cares about me. I have seen it in her eyes earlier that she still loves me. Jasmine loves me and I will never believe whatever Juliet said to me.

"What else did she say?" I asked her while clenching my fist. I wanted to know what else would say and how she would try to poison my mind.

"She said that Kenneth is the man she loves now, Romano said you have to wake up from your obsession towards her because she doesn't love you anymore. Kenneth is the one her heart beats for now." I gritted my teeth because of what she said. All her words seemed to be real and it was hurting me.

This truth hurts but I don't really believe it. She is just making up stories so that I can't be mad with Jasmine.

"Can you come closer to me, Juliet?" She smiled widely as a grin formed into her lips. She really thought that I believed her words.

"Do you want me to do anything for you, Romano? I am the one taking care of you now." She said as started walking towards me. The moment she was close to the bed, I grabbed her hand which made her astounded.

"Do you want to poison my mind? Do you really think that you can make me believe your words, Juliet?" I said in my angry tone. She became pale because of my words.

"You are hurting me, Romano." She grimaced in pain but I didn't release my grasp on her wrist.

"I won't stop not until I break your bones, Juliet." She started crying. This woman is really getting on my nerves.

"If it was because of what I said to you earlier, believe me that is what my sister told me." I shook my head at her.

"Do you really want to lose one of your bones, Juliet? Just answer me because I won't hesitate to break your bones. You are really getting on my nerves. Do you know what happens when you pester an Alpha king?" I asked her and she shook her head countless times.

"I can kill Juliet so don't pester an Alpha king, okay?" I tightened my grip on her wrist.

"Please, Romano….it hurts." She cried in pain which made me sighed as I released her wrist. I looked at her with my blazing eyes.

"Now you know that you can't pester an Alpha king. This is not only what you can get from me if you try to get into my nerves again. Stop making up stories because whatever you do, you can't erase Jasmine from my mind and heart." She looked at me with her teary eyes.

"You will regret everything you did to me, Romano and you won't like what I can do. Just like what you said earlier, I am a psychopath." I gritted my teeth at her words.

"No,you are definitely wrong, Juliet. I will never regret not choosing you. Don't ever hope that you will get my heart because what you do, I will never love you. Jasmine is the only woman I love, no one else." She is mad at me now but I don't care.

"Remember my words, Romano. I will never allow the two of you to be happy while I am grieving. Juliet Philip will return with vengeance, you and Jasmine will kneel in front of and be begging me to spare your lives." My fist clenched because of her words. How dare she threaten our lives, this woman really thought that I am scared of her.

"Are you threatening us? Are you not scared that I could kill you right now if I wanted? You are in my house, don't forget it." She swallowed hard her saliva in fear.

"You will regret what you did to me, Romano. I swear that a time would come when you will regret hurting Juliet Philip." I shook my head at her.

"Get out of my house right now, Juliet. Don't ever come back because the next time I see your face, I will make sure it will be the end of your life." She left without saying any other words.

"Romano…" My friends came inside the room which made me let out a deep breath.

"Did she leave the house?" They nodded their heads responding to my question.

"About Jasmine, Romano." Tim said and I looked at him.

"Where is she? I want to see her." I was about to stand up but they stopped me.

"Your wounds are still healing, Romano. About Jasmine, Kenneth called to warn to stop coming near her. Jasmine didn't want to see you again." My fist clenched because of what he said. I can't believe that he is back already.

Damn it, I was the one that told him to come earlier because there would be an upcoming war and we needed to prepare but I didn't think that he would return so quickly.

Jasmine Pov.

Kenneth came back because of the upcoming war between the werewolves. Although they are still preparing, I am already nervous about it. I knew that many humans would be affected during the war. Our birth Pack is one of the rival Pack of Romano's. A deep breath escaped my mouth when I remembered that jerk again. I know that Juliet would be at his side at this moment.

"Mother!" A smile curved into my lips when I heard my son's voice. I picked him up and kissed his face.

"I love you, my prince." My son smiled because of what I said. He caresses my face which made me smile. I carried him out of the room as we headed downstairs.

"Good morning, Jasmine." I chuckled because of what my friends said to me. My friends took my son away, leaving only me and Kenneth in the corridor.

"Do you have any meeting to attend to, Kenneth." He let out a deep breath.

"Jasmine." He called me which made me turn towards him.

"Can I invite you to a dinner date tonight?" I agape in shock. It was as if I couldn't believe to hear those words from him.

He is inviting me for a dinner date and I don't know how to respond but I think I should accept his invitation since it is just a dinner date. He is truly my friend so I shouldn't decline him.

"Sure, we can go out tonight. Let me get dressed." He nodded his head at me.
