Jasmine

We walked towards the sea shore and all eyes were focused on me and I tried to not be affected by it as I continued walking with my friends. We got to the seashore, Romano and his group including women that surrounded them and my husband was kissing a girl and his attention focused on me as soon as he saw me.

"Jasmine." I heard someone calling and I turned, I saw Kenneth who was staring keenly at me. He was the only one that didn't have a girl with him while others were busy kissing the girls with them without care that someone might see them.

Even Romano didn't care if someone might recognize him. We are married but look at what he is doing now. He was flirting with a girl in public. I clenched my fist when he smirked at me. It seems that he doesn't care about what I was wearing. Well, what do I expect from a man like him?

"Come girls, let's keep going." I said to my friends and we walked past them.

We occupied the remaining space on the sea shore and waited for our drinks to be delivered. I glanced over to his side and averted my eyes when I noticed that he was staring at me. I could feel my check flushed from the way he was looking at me. That is great, I think I am making this demon Alpha to be irritated but I don't want to expect anything because is the type of person who shows no emotions. So I couldn't tell if my plan worked or not.

I turned my attention to glance over to him again but this time I clenched my fist in annoyance as he showed me how he licked the woman he was kissing and gave me a smirk.

"Damn, you demon Alpha!" I yelled as I stood up.

"Hey, where are you going?" Nina asked and I turned my attention to them.

"I will be back, don't worry about me." I said to them and they all nodded.

I took some steps away from the sea shore. The reason why I left is because I was annoyed seeing Romano's face. He is making me mad because of how he was licking his mistress. My heart shattered into pieces like I wanted to strangle that woman's neck but I can't do that as I am just a replacement mate to the demon Alpha.

I left the seashore and headed to the restroom. I was about to go inside when someone grabbed my hand.

"What the hell!" I scream at the man that has the guts to grab my hand and slam me to the wall. When I looked at the man, my eyes widened as I saw Romano standing in front of me. My heart almost jumped out of excitement knowing he was the best that slammed me to the wall but wait a minute, what is he doing here?"

"Why are you so stubborn, Jasmine?" He asked and I raised my eyebrows. I stared at him and I couldn't help but swallow my saliva. I could feel my heartbeat quickening looking at this attractive face.

"What did I do and why are you here?" I asked as I acted like I was so upset with him but deep down inside me, I wanted to cry as I recalled him having sex with his mistress.

I feel so disheartened, he is making my heart shattered into pieces but at the same time he is also making it beat faster.

"You are asking me what you did, right?" He said, I became nervous.

"You are making me go mad, why are you wearing this kind of clothes, Jasmine?" He asked and I was astounded. It means that I achieved my objectives.

"W…. what do you mean?" I asked as if I didn't care.

"Change your clothes now." He said as he let go of me and I bit my lower lips to hold my excitement.

"Who the hell are you to command me to do that?" I asked and he turned around and stared deeply into my eyes.

"Because I am your husband and everything I say must be followed. I hope that is clear with you." He said and I just raised my eyebrows.

"You have the guts to command me, Romano despite all the things you did. You keep having sex with your mistress after you have taken away my purity." I said and he just glared at me.

"Is not your business, Jasmine. I am your Alpha and remember I repaid you from your family." He said and I was shocked hearing him say that. The words he said seemed shocking and I couldn't believe it.

"Repaid? What do you mean by that?" I asked and he grins at me before responding.

"You heard it right. I paid a huge amount of money to your family. They asked me for payment in exchange for you." He replied and tears streamed down my face.

My family asked for money in exchange with my life, it hurts knowing that. I now understand what my family's true colour was. I can't believe they could do this to me. I hated them for what they did to me, they are still selfish and let themselves be dazzled with money.

"Please stop crying." He said, I looked at him with tears in my eyes. He gripped my wrist and the next he did shocked me as he pulled my body closer to him and embraced me in his muscular arms. I couldn't hold myself to sobbed in his chest as he was so emotional. Each time I hugged him, I felt so relaxed.

"I hate you, Romano!" I exclaimed as I kept hitting him on his chest. He tightened his hug and that made me burst out crying even more.

"Just hate me, Jasmine." He said and I couldn't hold myself again to cry more. He is just a demon.

"You are so annoying!" I said as I kept hitting his chest.

He let go of me when he noticed I was feeling a little bit better and I just wiped my tears. The truth about my family just prevails. They didn't care about my feelings and happiness, all that matters to them is money. They didn't care about the after effects knowing that they asked Romano in exchange for me. Well, I won't be that shocked because they forced me to accept to be his replacement mate. I should have known that everything was just because of money.

"Change into something formal." He said and was about to walk away when I grip his hand. He turned around and looked at me with confusion on his face.

"Don't leave me, please." I said and it made him burst out laughing.

"Are you scared of being alone?" He asked and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Whatever." I responded as I let go of his hand.

He followed me from behind as we walked back to the resort and I could hear his laugh behind me. I hit someone and was about to fall when he held me quickly and prevented me from falling.

"Watch where you are going, lady!" She said as I realized who I just bumped into. My mouth agape realizing who the person was.

"Marcus." I murmured and a playful smirk formed on his face.

"Who is this dumbass again?" Romano asked but I didn't care as my attention was on Marcus. He is an old friend.

"It has been a while, Jasmine." He said and that made me smile.

He had changed a lot and I can't even recognize him because of his significant changes. I knew Marcus to be a nerd boy in the past but look at him now. He is so damn attractive. He was about to hug me when Romano blocked his body and carried me instead, I was shocked.

"Put me down!" I exclaimed as I tried to flounder but his grip was tight.

"You are really making me mad, Jasmine. Shut up now or I will throw you to the pool." He said and I zipped my mouth immediately. I was boiling in anger because he carried me while I was still talking to Marcus.

"I will kill you, Romano." I whispered to his ear.

"Go on, Jasmine. If you want to kill, you can do so but in a pleasing way." He said and my face flushed because of what he said.

My heart was pounding too rapidly on my chest. He put down in front of my friends and they looked at me with a playful smile on their faces and I couldn't hide my reddened face to them again.

"Keep your eyes on her." He said to my friend as he walked away from us.

"Damn you, jerk!" I screamed on top of my lungs but he didn't turn back.
