"We also discovered something but we are scared to tell you about it, Alpha Romano." Tim said and it made me glared daggers at them.

"Tell me about it or I will kill the two of you!" I exclaimed and it made me swallow hard their saliva.

"Please tell us that you will not feel dismayed with your wife. She is innocent and she is unaware of what happened to her in the past." My fist had already clenched and my heart pounded very fast inside my chest. It was as if I felt something about what they were going to say.

"I love my wife and I will do everything just for her. Now tell me about it before I lose my patience, boys!" I screamed at me and it made them become scared.

"Someone sent us this document from her doctor stating that Jasmine Philip lost her memories when she was still a teenager and before Philip's family adopted them, your dead mate, Evelyn, was their friend and they came from the Pack of Nelson." He replied and I stood up from my chair immediately. The words they just said seemed like a bomb that exploded in front of me.

Jasmine is an adopted child of the Philip family. She lost her memories when she was still a teenager and what is shocking was that Evelyn and Jasmine used to be friends in the past. Goodness.

"She can't remember her real parents as well as Evelyn. According to the information, there is no possibility that she could regain her memory." Harry said. This answers the question why she always lost consciousness.

"Did you know where her doctor is?" I asked them, hoping that they have any idea about it, her doctor because I would like to talk to her about my wife.

"No, we can't find her, Alpha Romano. These documents were given to us when we went to her office. We didn't tell you about it because we were still on a mission." Tim said to me. I pour some wine on a glass because alcohol can help me to digest everything I just heard now. The truth just prevails about her past and I don't know how I am going to tell Jasmine about it.

How am I supposed to tell my wife that she lost her memories when she was still young? Does her twin sister, Juliet, know about this? If she does, why didn't she tell Jasmine?

Aside from Anna, Evelyn has other friends too and Jasmine was one of them. Why didn't she mention that to me when she was still alive?" I asked and they shrugged their shoulders responding to me.

"I need to talk to Anna, she must have an answer to this." I stopped immediately and stepped out of my office. Talking to Anna is the least I can do as for now.

"Do you want to ask that psychopath killer, Anna? Do you think she will answer you?" Tim asked and I glared at him.

"Shut up, if there is someone that knows about Evelyn, it was Anna and I will threaten her if she refuses to answer me." I replied and they heaved a sigh.

I walked towards the dungeon and my friends were behind me. In just a few minutes, I reached there and walked straight to Anna's cell.

"What brought you here, Alpha Romano? Did you miss me? Anna asked and it made me clench my fist.

"Do you want to get out of here alive, Anna?" I asked her and she smiled evilly.

"Yes, but you are not letting me out if you don't have any condition. So tell me what do you want from me, Alpha Romano?" She said and a smirk curled up to lips because of what she just said.

"Do you know Evelyn's friends aside from you?" I asked her and it made her grin.

"I can't believe that you are asking me that, Romano. It is so sad to think that you are an Alpha but you are not not aware of what is going on. Evelyn's friends were the twins, Jasmine and Juliet. One of them killed her." She said and my mouth opened widely.

"What did you just say?" I asked her.

"Oh, my bad. It wasn't them that killed her but their real parents. I can remember everything, Romano. I am not a crazy psychopath woman anymore because I have fully recovered. My brain was manipulated because they knew that I saw what happened. Your wife's real parents killed your first mate, Alpha Romano and you made the biggest mistake of loving the woman who is the daughter of your first mate's killer." She said and honestly I don't know exactly what I felt at the moment.

I wanted to scream in agony but I felt killing someone would make me feel better. This is so impossible to believe.

"How do you know about this? Do you want to die if I found out that you were lying, Anna?" I growled at her and she just smirked.

"Do you remember that I tried to escape from here? I went to visit Evelyn because I wanted to kill her but someone exceeded me. Juliet and Jasmine's parents killed her because they wanted their children to be your wife." She replied and her words seemed hard to believe but what if she is telling the truth?

Goodness, this is not true, I can't accept this revelation and it is killing me.

Jasmine Pov.

It was already midnight but my husband is not yet back. Kenneth is back and he told me that Romano went out with the other two friends without his knowledge. I kept calling his phone but it wasn't reachable. I was in our bedroom glancing through the window hoping to see his car. This was the first time he went out without telling me where he was going and I can't stop myself from worrying about him.

"Where is Romano?" I asked myself while biting my fingers. I heard a sound of a car and my face lightened up as I saw him getting out of the car. I went out to meet him outside. My furrowed brows when I noticed that he looked wasted. Is he drunk?

"Jasmine…." He called as I approached him. I was about to touch him but he stopped me.

"Don't dare touch me!" He screamed at me and my mouth opened widely. I can't believe hearing him talking to me in that tone. The way he looked at me, it was as if he wanted to kill me.

What happened to him? Why is he acting this way?

"What happened, Romano? Why are you drunk?" I asked him as I tried hard to stop the tears that were threatening to flow. This is not the time to cry, I shouldn't be affected by his coldness towards me.

"Don't ask me, just stay away from me, Jasmine if you don't want me to hurt you." He said to me as he started walking towards the stairs.

I was left dumbfounded and I couldn't believe that he was back to his old self again. I kept thinking what might have happened to him that made him act like this. It seemed strange because he wasn't like this when he left home earlier for their mission. What did I do to him? Tears streamed down my face without me even noticing it. I was still at the spot where he left me. I have already gotten used to him being a sweet husband towards me and it really bothers me now that he has started acting cold again.

"He is drunk, Jasmine and your husband will be back to his sweetness by tomorrow when the alcohol leaves his body." I tried to convince myself that Romano is just drunk and everything will be fine by tomorrow. But what made him drunk? I heaved a deep breath and followed him back to our bedroom and he was already asleep when I entered the room. He was laying on the bed without changing his clothes. I decided to change this by myself and it took me about five minutes before I could finish everything.

"I hope tomorrow you will be fine." I murmured as he caressed his handsome face. A smile curved up to my lips as I stared at him. I really love him and I will do everything just for his happiness.

I am willing to sacrifice everything for his happiness regardless of what has happened in the past and I just hope that we can survive all the obstacles until the end of our lives. Loving a werewolf Alpha is way different compared to human beings. When you love an Alpha, one should ready themselves to love his people as well and that is what I did.

Romano Kelvin is my life and I will always understand his mood swings. He is something of a strange man but I am always willing to understand him. Love will always be willing to understand, sacrifice and always ready to give way and that is what I wanted to do when I fell in love with an Alpha. I wrapped my hand around his waist and then closed my eyes. I didn't realize when I fell asleep.
