Romano

"What happened?" I asked Dennis as soon as I picked up the call.

"Nelson and other enemies had entered our Pack, Alpha Romano. They are waiting in the middle of the field near our Pack boundary." My fist clenched hearing that from him.

"Damn it, I thought the war would start by tomorrow evening?" Hr sighed.

"Have you forgotten, Alpha Romano, that we are dealing with Nelson. Anything is possible when it comes to him." I grit my teeth.

That fool is really getting on my nerves. He thought he would startle me, right? No, he got to be kidding me. I am not startled about his surprise attack. I will make sure to obliterate him from this world.

"I am on my way back, we will face them and kill every one of them." I hung up the call afterwards. My gaze turned to the boutique of flowers and the box of toys for my son. It is so sad that I can't see them right now because something urgent needs my attention. Nelson is a traitor and he never follows the agreement but I will teach him a lesson for disobeying the Alpha king.

In just a few minutes, I was already at the Pack and found everyone outside. They all bowed their heads seeing me and they were all ready. I couldn't stop myself from smirking. My other Alpha allies were all prepared, a smile curved into my lips seeing Alpha Jasper. He didn't disappoint me.

"Alpha Romano…" Ashton called my name which made me turn my gaze towards him.

"Where are they?" I asked him, he let out a deep breath.

"They are already at the battlefield waiting." He responded.

"We are ready, Romano. Let us face them all." Tim said and I smirked.

"They surprised us by attacking us then, let us surprise them how we are going to end this war." Everyone transformed into their wolves except me, Ashton, Dennis, and my two other friends. I will transform later after having a word with Nelson.

"Kill them all!" I screamed as we ran towards the battlefield.

I smirked when I saw a lot of my enemies on the battlefield waiting for my arrival. My fist clenched seeing Nelson and other Alphas that were against my rule.

"I am glad that you finally showed up, Alpha Romano." Nelson said which made me smirk. I stood in front of him, leaving an inch gap.

"Are you scared, Nelson? Do you think that your Pack and your allies can defeat the Alpha king?" He laughed devilishly.

"Don't underestimate us, Alpha Romano because you don't know what we have installed for you. Do you think we are fools?" I grit my teeth because of what he said.

"I will make sure that I kill you today and I don't care if you are Evelyn's brother. Ever since you disliked me, we became rivals in so many things but now that your sister is dead, no one can stop me from killing you." He cleaned his fist while glaring daggers at me.

"You already knew that I disliked you from the start but don't worry because I will make sure that I end your life today. If I succeeded in killing you, I will become the most feared Alpha of all. The throne will be mine again and everyone will kneel in front of me." I shook my head at him.

"Dream on, Nelson. I will never stop you from dreaming because you can no longer do that when you die." I said to him.

"If I die today, I will make sure that you die alongside me and we will continue the battle in the next life." I grin at him with my evil reaction.

"Why, Romano? You can do that? Who the hell are you?" I shook my head at his questions.

"You still don't know me well, Nelson. Haven't you heard the rumors about me? I am Romano Kelvin and my name itself describes my attitude. I am a demon Alpha and hell was my throne. Do you want me to take you there? Who knows, you will find your dead parents and sister over there." I could feel the anger in him because of what I just said.

"Even if you are a demon, I don't care but remember, a demon is not alone. There are other demons, Romano and one of them is me. One of us will survive today and I will make sure it will be me." I shook my head again at his words.

"Let the war begin then." I said to him as I distanced myself from him.

We are about to start the bloody war between me and Nelson's group and we will see who wins afterwards.

Jasmine Pov

The day ends too quickly without us noticing. I am here waiting for Romano as he promised that he will visit us today but he disappointed me again. He didn't show up and I couldn't stop myself from thinking that he backed out from his promises again.

"You kept hurting me, Romano. Is this the time to give up?" I asked myself as I heaved a deep breath. It was already eight o'clock in the evening and I should stop hoping because he won't come.

"Mother." My gaze turned when I heard my son's voice. I saw him standing next to me, my brows furrowed when I noticed something strange on him. He looked sad.

"What happened to my prince? What is with that face?" I asked him the moment I picked him up.

"Clinton is..sad." My mouth agape because of what he said. I couldn't believe what I just heard from him. It was so shocking to hear those words from him.

"Why is Clinton sad?" I asked him.

"I want to see my….my real father." Tears streamed down my eyes because of what my son just said. My heart skipped hearing him say those words.

All the words he said rang in my head. This is the day I have been preparing for a very long time. My son is looking for his biological father and I don't know how to explain it to him but he must know the truth. On the other hand, I am scared to give him hope because Romano might not show up.

"Clinton, please listen to your mother, okay? Your father is coming and you will see him as soon as possible." My response brightened up his face. My heart melted seeing how happy he was hearing those words from me.

"I want to see my father!" He screamed happily which made me put him down and he ran out of the room. I followed him and my heart was still thinking about Romano. He is still not here and I am worried because he is breaking out of the promise he made to me.

"Jasmine." My gaze turned towards Kenneth as he called me. My brows raised, noticing unusual reactions on his face.

"Is something wrong, Kenneth? You look anxious?" I asked him the moment I came closer to him. He heaved a deep breath before responding.

"You need to know something, Jasmine." My fist clenched in nervousness. It was as if something happened that I needed to know.

"What is Kenneth? Please tell me." I said to him.

"Promise me that you are not going to freak out about this news." I let out a deep breath.

"Come on, Kenneth. Please tell me what it is." He let out a deep.

"Romano's Pack has been attacked by Nelson's group. The werewolves war had already begun, Jasmine." It was as if my world turned upside down and it took me some minutes to digest what he just said.

"What happened to Romano? Where is he, Kenneth? Please tell me that he is fine." Fears overwhelmed me as I was worried sick about his situation. Now I understand why he didn't show up. His Pack has been attacked, I need to see him. I need to tell him that I have forgiven him.

"I don't know, Jasmine but I am hoping that they are fine. Tim called me earlier that Romano was on his way to visit you but because of the surprise attack on his Pack, he has to return back." This is too much for me to handle. My legs were already trembling in fear thinking about my husband's situation. He is facing a big problem now and I need to help him.

I couldn't stop myself from crying as all the negative thoughts filled my head. What if something happens to him? What should I do then? I don't want to lose my husband. Not now, not until I told him that I have forgiven him.

"I need to see Romano, Kenneth. I can't sit here and cry without making sure that my husband is safe. Despite everything that he did to me in the past, I am ready to forgive him, Kenneth and I want to tell him that now. I have seen all his hard work and not that I am about to forgive him, he is already on the battlefield." Kenneth sat next to me as he placed his hand on top of mine.

"Everything will be fine, Jasmine. Romano will be safe and that is what I am assure you." I turned my gaze to him with tears in my eyes.

"I want to see him, Kenneth." I was about to stand up from the couch when my friends arrived.

"Jasmine." They called and based on the reactions on their faces, I am that they already knew about the ongoing werewolves war.

"Girls, please take good care of my son and protect him. I need to see Romano on the battlefield." They were shocked because of what I said.

"It is dangerous to go there, Jasmine. The war is meant for werewolves only." Ciara said and I glared daggers at her.

"I don't care, okay? All of you can't stop me from going to the battlefield to see Romano. I don't care if the war is only meant for werewolves. Remember, I am still their Luna and I should help them." They let out a deep breath because of what I said.

"Don't worry about your son, Jasmine. We will take care of him." Nina said.

"Thank you so much. Please protect my son." They nodded their heads.

"Please be careful, Jasmine and don't let them hurt you." I nodded my head at Khloe's words.

"Are you sure about this, Jasmine? Please stay here and let me go and help them." I turned my gaze towards Kenneth as he said those words.

"Please, don't stop me, Kenneth because I know what I am doing. I will help Romano." He sighed.

"Let us go then, Jasmine." He had no other choice than to grant my request because he knew that what I wanted should be followed. I kissed my son's forehead before leaving the house. Kenneth used his faster car so that we will reach the Pack as soon as possible. My heart was still pounding loudly as we were getting closer to the Pack.

"Please don't let your guard down, Jasmine. Here, use this." He gave me a gun.

"Thank you so much and don't worry about me because I am fine." I said to him, the gun he gave me, I have used it before and I know that I can manage it now. I left with no other choice but to slay my enemies.

"We are just hoping that we will win this war, Jasmine. Nelson's group was also powerful because he brainwashed the other Packs to join him to fight Romano." I smirked at his words.

"Don't worry because I have this strong feeling that we are going to win the war." He smiled responding to me.
