Jasmine

I was still at the garage when my head started spinning. My sight got blurred and I started massaging my head to ease the pain I felt at the moment.

"Jasmine!" I heard Romano's voice and I was about to turn backwards when I finally lost consciousness.

When I opened my eyes, I found myself in another room. It wasn't Romano's house and I got confused.

Where am I and what is this place? I started looking around the room hoping to see anything familiar to me. The only thing I could remember was being at the garage when I lost consciousness and hearing Romano's voice.

"Father, mother?" My eyes widened when I saw my biological parents. I tried calling their names but they were unable to hear me. I was about to approach them when I saw my twin sister, Juliet. She looked so young.

What is happening? Why am I seeing my sister and my biological parents talking with each other? And this house looks so familiar to me. Wait a minute, this is our home. This is the house we used to live in with our biological parents. Juliet was speaking with them, I tried to listen to their conversation but I couldn't hear anything. My heart skipped when I saw my teenage self enter the room where they were having the conversation.

"Father, mother, Juliet! I am here, please look at me." I screamed but they were unable to hear me. Tears streamed down my eyes when I turned my gaze towards the other direction and this time, I saw my biological parents laying on the floor with blood covering their bodies.

My hands started shaking and I was about to approach them when the little Jasmine and Juliet already did, then I realized what was happening. All this vision I am seeing now is what happened before I lost my memory. This is a glimpse of memories of my past. I can remember everything now, my biological parent's faces, how we found my parent's dead bodies in their bedroom and how l fell on the stairs which caused me to lose my memory.

I can remember everything now, the pain I felt when my real parents died. All of them are returning back to me.

"Jasmine." I opened my eyes when I heard someone call my name.

Romano is the first person I saw as soon as I opened my eyes. Tears streamed down my face as I could recall all that happened during my teenage years. The face of my real parents, their love and care towards us when we were still children, I remember everything now. Romano pulled my body close to him and I couldn't stop myself from crying on his chest.

Happiness and pain is what I felt at the moment. I am happy that I have finally regained my memory and pain because I remember the tremendous death of my parents and the way we found their cold bodies inside their room. It was as if all the pain I felt when they died returned back to me.

I remembered falling off the stairs while having a tough conversation with my twin sister and she is the one that pushed me off.

"I remember everything now, Romano." He was rubbing my back, trying to comfort me.

"That's enough, Jasmine. Stop crying and drink some water, please." He gave me a glass of water, I took it from him and drank it afterwards.

I looked at him and I could remember his dead mate, Evelyn now. She was our friend and we used to play with her when we were still young. I remember how she used to tell us about this young and handsome Alpha who was dating her then. It is Romano, he was the Alpha Evelyn was referring to us.

"What happened during my teenage life, I remembered everything now, Romano. It wasn't my parents that killed Evelyn because they died a long time ago when we were still very young." This may be the time to clear my parent's name. His accusations about them weren't true. They were not the one that killed Evelyn five years ago.

"You don't have to tell me, Jasmine because I am already aware that it wasn't them that killed Evelyn. I am still looking for the people that were responsible for her death up till now." His responses made me feel relieved.

"Juliet…I thought about her for a while. She was the one that pushed me off the stairs which caused me memory loss. She hated me because I blamed her for the death of our parents. She was present in the house when our parents got killed but she claimed not to see the culprits.

"What about her, Jasmine?" I heaved a deep breath. I need to tell him what Juliet did to me.

Tears streamed down my eyes when I remembered how she pushed me. I am her twin sister yet she did that to me. And now that I have recalled everything, I have so many questions that I need answers from her. I am certain that she knows the people that killed our parents but she is scared to tell me. She hides the truth from me all this while, I couldn't believe that she did that to me.

"Please tell me, what did she do to you, Jasmine." I let out a deep breath before responding.

"She was the reason why I lost my memory, Romano." He clenched his fist.

"I will kill that bitch and I don't care if she is your twin sister, Jasmine." He said while gritting his teeth. I placed my hand onto his to calm him down.

"No, Romano, it is okay. What matters now is that I have regained my memory. I now remember the face of my biological parents, that is all that matters." I started crying again and he wiped the tears off my face. His presence helped to ease the pain I felt remembering the tragedy events that happened in our lives.

All I thought was that I would know the people responsible for our parent's death when I regained my memory but their identity is still hidden. My biological parents and adopted parents deserve justice. Those that were responsible for their deaths, I will definitely kill them. The dungeon will never be enough for them to pay for their sins. Death is the best punishment for what they did.

"I promise you, Jasmine, that I will use my power as the Alpha to find those that were responsible for your parent's death. We will never stop hunting not until we find them." I smiled at him.

"Is that a promise, Romano? Will you fulfill it?" I was just trying to make sure that he will keep his promises.

"As long as I am the Alpha king of this Pack, I promise you, Jasmine. I will surely fish them out." My eyes become teary again.

He insisted on taking me back home and I didn't decline. His presence is what I need the most now because I am desperately in need of someone to rely on.

"Thank you so much, Romano. Hopefully that you will fulfill your promise. Don't worry, a time will come when I will accept you back. Just give me time." He nodded his head which made me smile.

"Can we go to the mall, Jasmine? I want to buy toys for our son." My mouth agape because of what he said. I glanced at his face, he looked so happy when he said the word 'our son'.

"But he already had a lot of toys, Romano." He sighed.

"Please, Jasmine. I want to give our son everything. Allow me to do this for him." I heaved a deep breath.

"Fine but I should be the one to give it to him. You are not yet allowed to come near my son, Romano. Just allow me to explain things to him first before you could meet him." He nodded.

"It is enough for me to see him far away, Jasmine. I am going to wait for the right time when you are ready to introduce me to him. You know what, Jasmine. I have so many regrets in my life and if I could just turn back time, I wouldn't have hurt you, Jasmine. I should be by your son leaving together with our son." He said.

"Whatever you say, Romano. You can't change the past, it is too late. You cheated on me with my twin sister and the consequences of your actions is not witnessing your son grow. You weren't there when he started learning how to talk and called Kenneth father. Kenneth had gotten used to him and he treats him like his son." I was surprised to see him shed tears while driving the car. I could feel the pain and regret in his heart. This would be the consequences of what he did to me in the past. He is suffering because of regrets.

"I am so upset with myself, Jasmine. All this time, I kept scolding myself because of my actions towards you and our son. Letting you go was the biggest mistake of my Alpha and that is why I am working hard to correct them all." I wanted to cry but I stopped myself.

"Like what I said earlier. Work hard and you will get back my trust, Romano." He smiled because of what I said to him.
