My attention turned towards the direction where the explosion came from, I could feel my heartbeat quickening as I couldn't stop to think that it might be Romano. He came to save us. Some wolves appeared in front of us and started attacking Nelson's men. Suddenly, Romano showed up and tears fell from my eyes seeing him here.

"Jasmine!" He ran towards me and untied my hands. I cried on his chest and he rubbed my back trying to comfort me.

"I am scared, Romano." I said and he hugged me tightly.

"Hush now, Jasmine. Everything will be alright." He assured me. He helped me untie my friends and we were about to leave when Nelson showed up. Romano pulled me closer to him and I stared at him with my blazing eyes.

"You really think that I will allow you to escape, Romano?" He said and I looked within the surrounding, we had surrendered my wolves. Goodness, we are trapped.

"Damn you, Nelson. You really think you can escape from my hands now? I will make sure that this will be the end of your life. You can no longer escape from me. I have already killed Eve and the next is you." I looked at Romano with a surprised face. Did he kill Eve?

"You killed the woman who looked like your first mate?" Nelson asked.

"Yes, she looked like my dead mate but she never had the qualities of Evelyn and that is why I knew she wasn't her reincarnation." Romano responded.

"If you all were planning to escape, it won't ever be possible." My gaze turned to Nelson when he said that.

"Shut up, Nelson. Just give up and accept the fact that you lose because even if you trapped us here, we can still escape." I said to him.

"I regret not killing you earlier, Jasmine." I smirked at him.

"Well, you just made the mistake of not allowing us to escape. You can't beat my husband and he has no reason for not killing you now. It is better for you to say your last prayer because he will never allow you to escape again." Nelson grit his teeth because of what I said. He waved his hand telling his men to attack us. Romano grabbed my wrist and was trying to protect me.

"Please leave here, Jasmine. Go with Kenneth, he will help you and your friends escape." I turned my gaze to Romano when he said that and stared deeply into his eyes. The battle had already begun, both the groups were now attacking each other. My heart pounded inside my chest because of what Romano said to me.

"No, Romano. I will stay here and I am not leaving you." He cupped my face and looked me deep in the eyes.

"Listen to me, sweetheart. I will be fine. We can lose against Nelson and your protection is my concern. I don't want something bad to happen to you." I shook my head at him.

"Listen to me, Romano. This will be our last battle and I should help you. Don't worry about me because I am capable of fighting them and I can protect myself." He shook his head disagreeing with me.

"Goodness, Jasmine. You are so hard-headed." I know he is upset with me now but I don't care. I am not leaving here because I am not afraid of them and I am not afraid of losing my husband because I know he will defeat them all.

"Please, Romano understand me. I won't leave here without you. We will get out of this place together." He sighed.

"Always remember, Jasmine, that I love you so much. This is going to be the last war and after this, I promise you that our church wedding will proceed." I smiled.

Our church wedding will be tomorrow and I am hoping that we will resolve whatever we are facing at the moment. We will win this war and start our new life. I am tired of this battle we are constantly facing. I want to start our new life peacefully with our son.

"I love you so much, Romano. Please be careful." He smiled and kiss me on the lips. He transformed into his wolf form afterwards.

He started killing all the Nelson's men and his warriors did the same. Kenneth pulled me out from the middle of the battle.

"Stay with me, Jasmine." I nodded my head at him. Nelson's men faced us and I could hear the beating of my heart. My friends and I were just humans, we couldn't help them in the battle.

"What should we do, Jasmine?" Khloe asked. My gaze turned to Romano and he was facing Nelson. The tension between them is so terrifying.

"Stay here, girls. I need to help Romano." I said as I loaded the gun Kenneth gave me. Romano is facing a hard time killing that idiot. I will be the one to end his life. The moment I was about to shoot Nelson, he climbed on top of me.

My husband's wolf growl because of what he did. My heart jumped out of nervousness as well. I dodged his attack and I thought I would be able to escape him when something happened that almost shattered my heart. Nelson's wolf was about to bite when a wolf blocked him. My legs trembled in nervousness realizing the person that came to save me.

"Romano…." Tears streamed down my eyes as I witnessed my husband fall on the ground covered with blood. He had transformed back to his human form. My legs were trembling as I went near him.

"Jasmine…." He called me which made me sob more. I couldn't digest what was happening.

"Are you o…okay, Romano? Please hold on, I will take you to the hospital." I said to him.

Listen to me, Jasmine. Whatever happens, always remember that I love you so much. I will never stop guarding you and our son." My fist clenched because of what he said.

"Shut up, Romano. Don't talk, we will take you to the hospital. I was about to help him stand up when he cupped my face. Blood was gushing out from his mouth which made my heart shattered into pieces. I am scared of losing my husband.

"No, Jasmine. My life ends here but before that, always remember that I love you so much." I can't accept losing Romano. Nelson will pay for what he did to him.

"Please hold on, Romano. Don't give up because we still need you. Remember, you promised that you won't give up on us. Please don't give up, I am begging you. You can survive, we can survive this, I promise you that." He smiled at me.

"I love you Jasmine Philip. You are the best thing that ever happened in my life." His words made me sob more.

I could feel that he was suffering, his wounds were severe. He got it from Nelson's bite that was supposed to be for me. His life is in danger because of me, he is suffering because of what Nelson did. My eyes started to darken and I wanted to avenge what he did to my husband.

"Jasmine, please leave.. " He said but I didn't listen. Instead I picked up the gun and faced Nelson. He is smirking at us.

"Look how helpless your husband is, Jasmine. I couldn't believe that you would be the cause of his death. He will die just to save you." I grit my teeth while tears streaming down my face because of what he said.

"You will pay for what you did. If something happens to my husband, I swear to find you even if you are in hell." He smirked.

"Who do you think you are to scare me, Jasmine? As far as I remembered, you are just a weakling human being who doesn't know how to protect herself. A pitiful human girl that caused the death of the Alpha king." My fist as I pointed the gun towards him but he just laughed evilly.

"The gun will never kill me, Jasmine." I smiled.

"This is not just an ordinary gun, Nelson. Better be ready yourself because I will end your life now." He grit his teeth at me. The moment that he was about to attack me, I pulled the trigger and the bullet hit his heart. Shock was all written over his face as he stared at the place I shot.

"Damm.. y…. you, Jasmine." He muttered as he fell on the ground. I am convinced that he is dead.

"Confirmed, he is dead," Ashton said, which made me fall on the ground. I could feel my hands trembling as I turned towards Romano. He was still breathing but I know that he is suffering in pain.

"Romano…" I called as I went closer to him. He caressed my face which made me close my eyes.

"Y…you are a strong w…woman, Jasmine. Please be strong f…for our son. I need to rest now, Jasmine. Allow me to rest because m..my body is tired." Blood was still gushing out from his mouth which made my heart shattered into pieces. I caressed his face with tears in my eyes. I can't lose Romano.
