"You pushed me to evil, Jasmine. Have you forgotten that I told you that you only belong to me? You are mine and I came first before Romano and I won't allow him to own you forever." He said as he was still pointing the gun at me. I am in the toughest situation now, Charlie is back to ruin my life and marriage again.

"I didn't do anything to you, Charlie. Can't you understand that I will not choose you over my husband?" I asked him and it made him pull my hand.

"You have no other choice, Jasmine because he won't come to rescue you. I have kept him busy fighting with my other companions. You should come with me and I promise you that we will live happily with our children." He said and his words almost suffocated me. I couldn't digest the words he just said, my life will be a living hell if he ever becomes my husband.

"You are so disgusting, Charlie." I said but he just laughed.

"Now, move if you don't want to die here." He tried to scare me but I shook my head instead.

"It is better that you kill me, Charlie, because I will never be happy with you. It is better I die here rather than staying with a dumbass like you!" I yelled at him and it made him grit his teeth as he stared at me.

"What did you see on that jerk Alpha? There is nothing special about him. He will only hurt you, Jasmine. Romano Kelvin is more evil than me." He said and a smirk curled up to my face.

"Romano is far different from you, Charlie. My heart beats only for him regardless of who he is." I said to him and it made him clench his jaws. His reaction was priceless and it seems like he wanted to kill me instantly.

"Shut up, Jasmine. Just follow me quietly." He said and I just smirked.

"Kill me, Charlie." I motioned him but he just stared at me with his hand shaking.

"Don't force me to bed your life, Jasmine. If I can't have you then, it is better you die because I won't allow you to be happy with Romano Kelvin." He said and I closed my eyes as he pointed the gun at my forehead. Tears streamed down my face thinking that this would be my end.

"Go ahead. Pull the trigger now, Charlie." I said, although I am not yet ready to die, I guess this would be the end of me. My friends were surrounded by the wolves and Kenneth was having trouble killing all the wolves surrounding him.

"You are ready to die, right?" He asked and I smiled.

"If you succeeded in killing me, leave this place because I am certain that Romano will hunt for you." I said to him courageously.

"You know what, Jasmine. I wanted to avoid killing you because I have so many plans for the two of us. We were about to explore the world but since you don't want to come with me then, I have no other choice than to kill you." He said to me.

"Then do it." I motioned him and then I heard loud gunshots. Tears streamed down my face as I waited for my life to end. I closed my eyes for about two minutes but I still can't feel my pain.

"Jasmine!" I opened my eyes when I heard that voice. My eyes widened knowing it was my husband's voice. He grabbed me and pulled me to his embrace.

"You are here, Romano?" I asked in between sobs and he didn't let go of me. I buried my face on his chest, I can't believe that I am still alive. Charlie didn't succeed in his plan of killing me.

"Enough now, Jasmine. You are safe and I am here already." He said as he rubbed my back and it made me feel relieved.

"I thought my life would end, Romano. Charlie came here and he wanted to kill me." I said and he tightened his hug on me.

"Don't worry because he is dead now. I have killed him, Jasmine." He said as I let go of him to see if Charlie was really dead. It saddens me that he dies at the hands of Romano. I didn't want this to happen but it was all Charlie's fault. He harmed me and I thought that my life would end in his hands but my husband came to my rescue. He killed him and saved me. I am happy that I am safe from the tension I faced earlier. The man I love is now by my side, he always came to my rescue and I am always grateful that I have him by my side to protect and save me from all dangers.

"I thought you would never come, Romano." I said as tears continuously streamed down my face. He wiped them off with his hand and stared deeply into my eyes.

"No, that will never happen. You still remember the promise I made to you?" He asked me and it made me bite my lips.

"Yes, you promised that you will always protect me." I replied and he cupped my face with his two massive hands.

"Don't forget that, Okay? I will always save you and no one can harm my precious mate." He assured me and I smiled.

"I love you." I said and he took my lips and started kissing me. We broke the kiss as we faced Charlie's dead body that was laying on the ground.

"If he didn't point the gun at you earlier, I wouldn't have killed him. I would have made him suffer but I have no other choice than to end his life. He deserves to suffer but it is such a pity that his life ended like that." He said as he shook his head. I heaved a deep breath staring at his dead body.

All I thought this while is that he has moved on but he was only planning his moves on how to get me back to his life. I was brought back from my deep thoughts when I felt a hand wrapped around my waist, a sweet smile curved into my knowing who it was. He hugged me from behind and I felt so comfortable as he wrapped his hand around my waist. It seems like all the doubts in my head faded away. Romano is the only one left in my life who always made me feel loved and losing him would make my life a living hell. I am glad that he was able to defeat all his enemies he faced earlier and I have so many questions on my mind that need to be answered by him. I wanted to ask him who Mark was and as well asked him the reason why he didn't know what was happening in the mansion.

"Stop overthinking, my love." He asked as he spun me around to face him. I looked at him deep in his eyes, his enticing ocean blue eyes made me tremble. He has this charismatic appearance that even though we have been with each other for some months now, I still kept being attracted to him.

"Everything that happened today made me astounded, Romano." I said and he then held my hand and looked deep into my eyes.

"I know and I would like to apologize for not telling you about what was going on. You know, I wanted to avoid stressing you, Jasmine. Don't worry about it because I promise you that I will do everything in my power to solve these issues." He reassured me and I nodded my head agreeing with him. I know he can solve it, he is the powerful Alpha of this land and he is also known to be the popular ferocious ruthless Alpha. I am certain that his enemies are terrified now.

"I trust you Romano but where are we going to live now?" I asked him in my worried face and he looked at me with his grinning face. My brows furrowed because of his actions.

"Your husband is not just a ferocious Alpha but he is also a multi-billionaire." He replied and my face flushed. Oh yeah, he is not just an Alpha but he is also a billionaire and I almost forgot it.

"I know because aside from being wealthy and powerful, my husband is also handsome." I said and a smirk curled up to his face and it made my heart jump out of nervousness.
