Chapter 105

Gunner and Slasher decided to stay where they are now together with Hiro and Samuel. They decided that it was better for them to cooperate with the two since they couldn't get out of the building as they have thought. It was a disappointment but maybe it had a better reason after all. Besides it was Gunner's wish to save everybody from the captivation of Dr. Vega and the question is how can they do that without him noticing it? They are aware the Dr. Vega is a cunning man and he is not a fool not to notice little things in his building and he shouldn't be underestimated.

'Gunner," Slasher called him which makes him turn his head to him. He was looking at the outside and still there are smokes coming out from the ground.

'What is it?" he asked as he take a look at him and before he could forget he will ask him if he had already drink the serum. 'Have you drink the serum yet?" he asked and Slasher shook his head.

'Not yet, I will drink it by this night because that is the time that I have drink the first one," he answered and he nodded because it does makes sense.

He sighs and look around Hiro was out of the tent and so does Samuel because they are going to get something from his chopper which he had it hidden. And that was good news already for them because it is their gateway.

'What is it that you want to ask?" he asked getting back to their conversation.

He took a deep breath before he starts to speak, 'There is something familiar with that man," he said suspiciously as he itched the back of his head.

'Who? Mr. Samuel? Of course he looks familiar he is indeed the President of United States and we always see his face may it be on television or tabloids," he said and Slasher shook his head.

'No, it's Mr. Hiro there was opt to him and maybe he was the one whom mother keeps on telling me those times," he said and Gunner couldn't help but to be curious as well because it is not hidden that he doesn't know anything about their talks but even though he was not jealous about it because it was his twin by the way.

'What about him?" he asked as he took a stand from his seat and took a cup of coffee where Hiro introduce to them if ever they want to make some.

'Mom told me about this man whom he had loved before our dad but she didn't tell me the name though but I have this feeling that the man she was meaning about is him. And from the way he looks at us and he is not even related to us and from what he told us earlier that he was out guardian angel I mean what could he possibly get from giving us all of those?" he said and Gunner had the same feeling too, he had this weird feeling of their sudden contact in the eyes. But he just ignored it because there is no classification at all for feeling that way and besides they have just meet.

'Are you also thinking what I am thinking?" he added which makes Slasher snorted from a laugh because indeed they are thinking the same thing.

Slasher took a deep breath and stretch his arms above his head. 'That he is our true father? He asked and Gunner nodded in agreement.

'We aren't kids anymore that we don't understand just even those little details and what is the purpose of us being detectives? I know it may sound logistic or even a joke and we are already jumping into our conclusions but what if he is?" he said which makes Slasher nodded his head and rest his hands above his head and took a deep breath.

There was a moment of silence between the two of them but both of them are aware already that they have to talk to Mr. Hiro and in order to do that is to make a conversation about their mom first and that would bring him up. After all of those they haven't feel anything of loss of their father which was Brace. Gunner already had told Slasher of what had truly happen that time that they are rescuing him at first Slasher didn't want to believe him but it was he that he had witnessed that his father was a partner of Dr. Vega and even though he doesn't know if he had seen him being a captive of Dr. Vega maybe it doesn't even change anything. No wonder why he had left that so easy and from remembering how their mother had cried every night and she even waited for him every night even though she knows that he will not ever come back but she still hopes for that every day.

And Slasher was ashamed at the same time because he was the one defending their father and Gunner was the one who keep bad mouthing their father and he guess that he should have bad mouthed him that time and even before.

'You know what maybe you should be the first one who should be talking to him and not me because you are the oldest here and technically you are older than me right?" he said breaking the barrier of silence between them.

Slasher faces him with a furrow brow. 'What? Wait you're the one who speak out what you were just thinking and I never said that we are in the same thought so your idea your action okay?" he said and Slasher pat his shoulder.

'No, because it is kind of gay so as I am the youngest one here and stop being an amateur okay? You're the one who should be talking to him, ' he said as he took a stand from his seat wanting to escape from his stares.

Slasher stands from his seat because he knew that Gunner was trying to escape him and he will not let it. 'No, your idea, your move okay? You should be the one who will be talking to Mr. Hiro okay?" he said and was about to grab Gunner when he notice that he was still wearing a gown.

He cursed under his breath and yell at Gunner. 'Find me a suitable dress to wear!" he exclaimed which makes Gunner laugh because he haven't have time to find him a suitable clothes to wear.

'Okay okay maybe Mr. Hiro have some spare clothes in here so we will wait for them and I'll be the one who will ask him," he said which makes him regret it immediately and when he was about to face him he was already smiling ear to ear which makes him wanted to punch him in the face.

'Okay you talk to him," he said and Gunner was about to chase him when someone speaks and if they were not mistaken it was Mr. Hiro.

'I think I know what we are going to talk. You kids are smart," he said as he put the things that he was carrying near the table and gestured them to take their seats while Samuel walk behind him and just stayed silent because he felt it was something much more important that they are going to talk about.

Gunner and Slasher took their seats and waited for Hiro to face them. They didn't even see that coming and they didn't even feel his presence.

Hiro took his seat and took a deep breath and he doesn't knew where to start so he decided to just point it directly to them.

'Maybe you are quite curious and having this weird feeling and trust me . . . me too," he said and Gunner and Slasher look into each other like they are trying to read each other's eye.

'We are," Slasher added but it was just a whisper yet was enough of them to hear it.

'I and your mother have something before but it was me who was the coward one but I tried to make things right and something happened but it was just one night. I don't know but maybe I have sons because that was she was telling me. I know it was cheating he have cheated your father. I don't know what to say anymore," he said which doesn't make any sense because they couldn't process it into their minds.
