Chapter 42

Fushigasaki is a professional bounty hunter and a best friend of the President of the United States, Samuel.



They also met in Japan way back from their childhood and just changed their paths when they choose their different careers.



Yet they still communicate if they ever needed anything and nothing changes. Fushigasaki resided in Japan and Samuel surely knows that he knows everything beyond imagination about the WIC Company and about the missing young males in that area. Samuel had this feeling that it also connected with what he had seen that time.



He couldn't forget what Dr. Gambit had told him, it was like it was just yesterday and fresh in his mind.



'Samuel," answered in the second line in the third ring.



'Saki," he replied, and heard Fushigasaki chuckle and he sighed.



'It's been a long time since the last day we talked, Samuel. And maybe this late at night of you calling me might be very important," he said in the second line and heard Samuel sigh like a problematic man.



Samuel stood from his seat and opened the window on the balcony of his room. 'I think you have heard and seen what had happened at the border, in Arizona," he replied and it was as if he can see Fushigasaki nodding his head in agreement.





'Yes, I have seen that in the news and all over the world knows about it now yet some also think it is just for a show. I know what is happening here in my place, Samuel. If I remember I have told you about it but you dismissed it because you haven't seen anything like it and you talked about it to the President. And of course would you even think that he would tell you the truth?" he whines from the second line with anger in his heart and Samuel understands him being angry.



And now he blames himself on why he hasn't heard what his friend told him that time. He had made a big mistake in his life that he is now paying it. He had a lot of what if's now in his mind that what if he had just hear what Fushigasaki told him then maybe he had control and had planned for everything before this came up. But nevertheless it had happened and he can't do anything about it if he just blames himself from time to time and not taking any actions.



'I know… I know you are mad at me and I am sorry for not hearing you out that day and haven't any help to you. And right now here I am asking for your help. I don't know what to say. I feel ashamed of myself," he said in a low tone of voice and sighed. He guesses calling his best friend will be nothing and sighed again.



'Repay me some other time but right now I'll dismiss it and will be helping whatever you'll ask me for. So what are we going to do? Any plans?" he replied and Samuel smiled with a hope in his heart. He was not expecting that answer but he promised that he would definitely pay back Fushigasaki.



'Thank you, thank you Saki! I promised I will repay you!" he replied and his eyes lit up with so much hope yet it disappeared for a second.



'I d-don't have any plans right now. I just evacuated every citizens here In the United States and give them a shelter away from here. And that shelter is good for them for they will be surely safe in there and all of their needs are given especially children's and babies. I also know that we have a lot of equipment when it comes to battle but what we are fighting for is unimaginable. An enemy that you wouldn't know how to kill it. I didn't yet encounter one of those but from what I have heard and from I have seen those scene of deaths this enemies we are facing shouldn't be underestimated," he said and took a cigarette in the drawer of the table which was near him.



He lit it up and took a smoke. He was stressed and looked at the picture frame which his wife and daughter were smiling at the photo. He already misses his family yet it was the best thing to do for now. He hasn't had the time to call them for if he does he might just go down and break into tears. His weakness is his family and he would do everything just save them.



'You are right you should not underestimate that and I bet you know who the founder of it is. Who is the formulator of that damn project? A lunatic person, a smart of the entire smart yet used it to dominate the world and now he is winning. But as to what they say villains' neve win but what if in real world they will?" Fushigasaki commented which makes Samuel scrunched his forehead because he knows how much Fushigasaki love the world because of his hobbies but if he had said those words he should be very worried after all. It is rare for Fushigasaki to say those without knowledge of the whole story.







'Do you happen to know who are those missing person that is missing now in Japan?" Samuel asked and heard the other line sighed.



'I don't really know them but I can have a list for you. Want to me get it for you?" he asked and it is really an impossible task because he knows maybe a hundred of them are already missing but he knows Fushigasaki have ways and he believes in him.



They both know what battle now is they are fighting for but they don't have a choice but to face it with all of their guts and heart even though they are below down to their enemies. They just hope for the best and hopes that even the Gods knows what they are facing. They also hope that they the God's is on their sides.
