Chapter 116

Hiro and Gunner had talked for how many hours while sipping their second cup of coffee which will make him in the end of not sleeping but unlike Gunne rhea had managed to sleep just seating into his chair and thankfully he was sitting in a foldable chair that could form a bed which he carefully pull the lever and now he was sound asleep. He laso understand that because after all of what they have been through and, as he could see from Guner's eyes and the, frail of his body, he was tired and maybe it is his first time to sleep as sound as right now.



He couldn't imagine those struggles that he had face right then but he was proud of what he had become right now because he is an independent person and could think straight even in toughest situation but as he sees his reaction when they had seen Dr. Vega earlier he couldn't help but to put guard into him because from those eyes he could sense fear. Fear that he is trying to get riffed but he just couldn't and by looking at that kind of reaction he could't imagine what Dr. Vega had done to him to be in that kind of feeling. He solemnly swear that if he will be able to face him he will kill him by himself with his own bare hands and thinking of how he wanted to make fool out of him makes his blood boil and doing it to his sons.



He carefully tucked a blanket to Gunner who is still sound asleep and somewhat snoring meaning he was really felt tired and he was flacking sleep because of those eyebags that was underneath of his eyes. Somehow he couldn't help but to put sympathy on them because it shouldn't be their life be like that, instead they should be studying and reaching their goals and dreams right now. They just repeated what he and Haku had faced when they were young but the difference is they still have each other and Gunner had managed to find his twin brother while he, he didn't even find Haku.



He smiled when he heard Gunner snoring and he securely checked if the tent were all close so no noise could be ever be heard outside and when he checked that everything was closed he somehow felt relieved. He walked where Samuel is and was somehow worried about his condition he just didn't want Gunner to be worried anymore but he just hopes that Samuel would get better soon. He felt if he was still in his high fever and smiled when he felt that his fever was already cooling down. Hiro sighed and got a damp towel and put it to his forehead to somehow help replenish his feeling of getting hot.



"Samuel," he tried calling his name and he hopes he would respond even though what time is it right now and he was already in his deep sleep.



Samuel moaned and says, "I'm okay now. Thank you for taking good care of me and sorry for the burden," he weakly said and that was also a good news from him because he could already respond unlike earlier and he wasn't chilling anymore.





"Don't mention it. Do you need anything in particular right now? I bet you are hungry, so let's grab something to eat. Can you get up?" he rained him some questions which makes him smile and just nodded his head because he was indeed somehow famished but he didn't even feel like eating but in order for him not be a burden for the team he needed to get back into his shape to be able to help them.



Hiro helped him to sit at the edge of the bed and he immediately got a soup which he had kept from the ration pack that he had opened earlier and had found a cup of soup which was perfect for him. He lighted up the disposable stove and put the tin can and hot it warmed up while Smaule was just looking at what he was doing.



"I have so much like that from my office," he said which makes Hiro to looked at him and smiled.



"You are a fan too of having this kind of food? Because if you ask me which I am and I admit that, because I am really delighted to open every packs of this tbecause e feels like I am opening a gift and don't know what was inside and every ration pack that I request are different so I get surprised very often but as time goes by I think I have it all memorized now," he said which earned him a laugh from Samuel because he felt the same way too and he thought it was weird but seeing that he had the same person feeling that way he couldn't help but to feel of being just a normal person and not the President of the United States.



"By the time that we get out of here I assure to you that I will give you ten boxes of different ration packs of soldiers and freebies and I bet you didn't see those chocolate boxes," he said, which makes Hiro laughed because they looked like kids having a discussion of foods and sweets and, he admits he was somehow surprised to see box of chocolates in ration packs because back then they could only eat chocolate when their mother had enough money and sometimes it is not whole but they were already happy about those little things.





"Don't make me eat those for a year because maybe I would end up being a big marshmallow for a solider with a ration pack all over my place. We will get out of here especially these two," he said which makes Samuel looked at the two and nodded because ehe already knows that the two were his sons and even though there is no DNA he could already tell that it was his sons because they really looked similar to each other.



"They are your twins."
