Chapter 64

'You managed to find my room," he said in a weak raspy voice as he looks at Gunner with drowsy eyes.



He had managed to make him a shirt using the rag blanket which ends in his knees enough to cover his naked body and to warm him. He also lend his jacket to Slasher, he more than needs it than himself.



Gunner looked worried about his brother and decided to move him at the wall where he could lay his back well since they don't have any pillows with them.



'Take a rest and finish your food it will help you regain your energy," he said as he took the bottle of water out of his hand for him to eat well. He knows that the bread wasn't enough but it is better than nothing to digest and somehow it would bring him back to his normal state. He guesses he has to steal food again in Dr. Vega's office and to refill the bottle with water.



In no time right now Gunner knows that Dr. Vega will know what they are up to.



'I have managed to find this room because of what had engraved at the door. From that I know it was yours," he said while smiling at him and he returns the gesture.



'I was the one who emailed you, Gun," he commented as he exhaled an air. He was somehow finding it hard to breathe in the normal air because his body was already used at the oxygen that is giving him by the machine when he was inside in the globe.



Gunner was surprised by his sudden statement but he admits that he had already suspected that it was indeed Slasher's email but as he witnessed his situation it was impossible for him to believe that it was him but hearing it out loud coming from his mouth he was somehow proud of him. He had managed to send him an email in that kind of situation and how weak he is. It may have damaged him so bad that he doesn't want to imagine it anymore.



'But why didn't you just tell your name so I could already know that it was you," he asked curiously even though it doesn't matter anymore but he still wanted to know why.



'Dr. Vega is sneaky and if ever he will find it out he will know who it was and thinking that it was my code cell who sent that email and it was safe… we always do that in case of emergency right?" he replied and Gunner was so lame asking him that kind of question.



He sighed as he looked at his brother. He was never the same as before. He looked skinny and his bones could already be seen like it was just sticking into his skin.



'And I guess you already learn what I have made down here," he said referring to the secret hideout.



Gunner nodded his head, 'Yes, and that is where I have hide myself for a week before saving you again. It took me how many times to save you but I have encountered person that I don't know how to describe them but I bet they were also Dr. Vega's subjects for experiments," he said and Slasher nodded his head already know what are those because he already had encountered one and that was Samson.



Slasher was still have fear about that man who made the stiches in his mouth and he bets that Gunner still didn't see that man because as far that he knows he was locked in a cell because he couldn't be controlled anymore but learning that he had escape maybe Dr. Vega will let him out of that cell to help for the search. And with that state of him he couldn't be any of help to at least fight and he couldn't just stand there and watch his brother fight for their lives. He had to rest and gain some energy and not to burden Gunner even in just running and walking.



Slasher was about to say something about their father when suddenly a hit of pang suddenly strikes to his head. It was painful and throbbing which makes him combs his hair and gripped it. The veins in his forehead were already showing out and his vision was starting to get blurry. And he feels like vomiting but he is just restraining himself to do it. And he felt that he is going to faint any minute from now and Gunner was in quick action to help him lie in the bed and pull off his jacket to make it a pillow for his head.

'Don't say a word now and just take a rest. Get some sleep because you need it," he said and Slasher didn't say a word anymore and closes his eyes but Gunner knows he was still in deep pain.





Gunner combs his hair until he was asleep but he was still bothered for their safety and knowing that any time soon Dr. Vega will came searching for them and he hopes that Ross will show up already and have come a plan for their escape. He believes that he was still alive because he trusts Ross that he can defeat their father and he hopes that Ross killed him already.



He knows that it was a cruel word to say but he couldn't help but to feel that way. There is much hatred in his heart that even the death of his father could not heal it. He wanted his soul to rot in hell because he was also the reason why their mom passed away.

As Gunner looked at him he estimated that he still needs rest and he couldn't risk any time that would led his brother to danger. So he decided to put his twin brother to the secret hideout to sleep so if ever Dr. Vega will come searching for them he will not see where Slasher is. He can still breathe there because of the holes that he had made. He slowly lifted him out of the bed and places his to the secret hideout.



He looked at him for the last time before he closes it but he had already made four holes again just in the area of his head where he could have supply of air.
