Chapter 129

Samuel couldn't even comprehend what had gone wrong to it. He had not done anything wrong to his country and so as to his family and yet he is facing such a crucial thing that was now in front of him that he didn't even quite imagine why. Why is he facing a problem which looks like he had committed a great sin and now he is facing such a big consequences.

He had trust General Arthur to everything and so as Joemar which was his true identity is in the name of Seiji. Why do people keep on betraying him?

He groaned out of frustration and comb his hair using his fingers that was now being shaky and now he noticed how oily his hair was and realized he hadn't taken a bath since he got there. He had only wipes his body with a white towel and washed his bare face. He could already feel the flakes in his head that was now forming and he couldn't help but to cringe because he was use of being clean and he was a hygienic person.

'Why is this happening to me?" he uttered asking himself as he placed his hand to his face and he didn't want to caught the attention of Hiro who was now looking at him which makes him turn his back as he was laying already in his sleeping bed.

Samuel doesn't want to be comforted especially that there are lot of happenings to his surroundings considering that the Vice President is now a captive of Dr. Vega means he should do something. Because every time that he was comforted he feels like he was weak and needs a person to rely on that well in fact is that he had promised himself not to be a weak person anymore but now it looks like he was going to—but he will not let that again to consume the whole of him.

Hiro on the other hand already knows what was running through his mind and the way he turn his back on him juts for their eyes not to meet he knows that he doesn't want to be comforted by now and he understands that. Also considering that he was a President of the United Stated which was the most respected nation all over the world then he would give him the pride of what he was. But nonetheless he will talked to him later after he had to get talk to Gunner and Slasher who is now in front of him and was in deep though which makes him smile because he could see the resemblance of them to their mother.

'Are we going to do it?" Slasher asked which cause Gunner worriedly looked at him and he understands that because on the other hand Slasher was earlier in high fever just like Samuel.

Because of the serum that he had it intake they had it able to check with the help of Hiro's device since the phone of Gunner was gone because of the incident of what happened to him and Ross before.

Gunner and Slasher was also surprised to witnessed that he have also of what have looked like the same device as theirs but to think that Japan is in an advance technology means that it is not really that surprising because anybody could do it as far as they could tell.

'Yes," Gunner answered even though there were doubt into his heart but he had to trust his twin brother because he knows that is what he wants and he doesn't want to feel like a burden to them.

Slasher tilted his head, smiled and mess Gunner's hair to which Gunner rolled his eyes on him as he smack his hand for doing that thing again. 'Stop doing that you're making such a great scene in here," he exclaimed which makes Hiro and Slasher laugh but it didn't last long because there was still danger in their minds that they feel like they still do not deserve to have fun because of where they are.

As for the study of the serum that Slasher had drink is that it contains somehow an adrenaline that a normal person shouldn't be drinking but because it was the only way for him that day to be able to survive is they don't have any much choice right then. Gunner had to make sure that he would drink it and so he did. The serum contains of somehow good viruses and those were the one who helps his system gets back to normal and maybe the answer of why he could already stand firm is because the bones that had been cracked and the tissues in there were already fixed by it. It was unbelievable and also Gunner was thankful that he had seen it and from Hiro's study he couldn't see any disadvantages of taking it or any risk of it yet they prayed that there was nothing to it. Slasher will be expecting a strong adrenaline when maybe he had the urge of fighting or was mad or something danger was coming and that is when it will came out. Hiro had it also told him that if that happens then he have to observed his body and have taken control and not let those viruses takes control of him because they still doesn't know what will come through and it is better to be safe and to have an advance thinking.

Hiro looked at Gunner's direction and called him, 'Gunner, you will be the one to fight him in case we will encounter such unexpected things and we should just expect those things because from what I have told the two of you is that we shouldn't be underestimating Dr. Vega from anything," he said and the two of them nodded their heads as they understands what he was trying to tell them.

'How could I even fight him?" Gunner asked as he imagine himself fighting that kind of lunatic man that he couldn't even read what was running through his mind and he was unpredictable.

Hiro closes his hands and rested it to the table and sigh, 'From what I have mentioned before I have watched you fight that human creature from which I have heard his name was Samson and I could tell that he was a killer and his mind was already corrupted and couldn't think straight anymore. You were different out there and I bet if Ross was still alive he could say something like I am now," he said and Slasher's eyes lit up with such an excitement as he imagined it and he hated it because he was asleep that time because he was weak and was a burden to him considering that Gunner was stealing food form them to eat and also water because that was what he needed the most.

Slasher had just eaten at least one time because it was funny because it taste weird that time—he doesn't know why but those chocolate bars and also the bread tasted weird or it was because of his taste buds because it had been a while since the last time that he had eaten such a food. But he had eaten what Gunner had given to him because he had get all of those with his little energy just for him and also because he understands that he was just concerned of his situation. But then he had get all of those to his system just to get enough energy as well as Gunner that time.

Gunner nodded his head and just prepare for the quest that he will be soon be facing once they get out of the building and considering that they are counting on him and it breaks his heart if he will let them down which he doesn't even want to. He had also come to think of where they were now because from the first place he was praying that he would see a progress or even a light of hope that he will soon find his twin brother and then he did by the help of Ross which was their cousin after all and to think that they have learned that they are relatives would at least he had treasured him and will not ever forget him until he gets old. After he had found Slasher he had prayed that somehow there would be a light that would lead them outside and be free and then they have meet Hiro and Samuel who was in the other hand was planning to at least save people down there as to what they could. And sadly as they could think that not everyone could be saved is that makes him feel a big heartache nevertheless they would make sure that Dr. Vega will face his doom.

'I will do it," Gunner said which makes Hiro smiled as he nodded his head.

In any cases he had sewed a clothes for the four of them by the help of the invisible sheet and that would wrap their whole body including their face which he had sewed a face mask. What makes it even more amazing is that even though they are in that kind of suit is that they could be able to see each other but the enemies won't even see them. But until then Hiro was worried because he knew where Samuel will be going once they are going outside and he was hundred percent sure that he will be saving the Vice President and he hopes that the invisible suit would somehow help him but there is no guarantee that he could be able to escape Dr. Vega in there considering that he had held the vice President as his captive. Her being his captive was surprising because as far as he could tell is that Dr. Vega only get was male people and not women but he had her collect and from the way he looks at her as he carries her inside was something that he couldn't put a word or comprehend what.

Hiro understands what Samuel was he feeling and the boulders in his shoulders that he was now carrying from the day that he had him saved. He knew he was feeling guilty because all of those persons died on the spot and now the only thing that he could think about now is to somehow save the Vice President because he believes that it was a sign of his consequences of his reckless action. Hiro had this feeling that he would be talking to him right then after he had secured the plans between him and the twins because he couldn't any longer count on Samuel.

'We should secure him," Gunner said referring to Samuel.

Hiro was quiet after what he had said but Slasher already looks like he had already absorb what was going on except Gunner which makes him looked at the two but ended up looking at Hiro.

Hiro took a deep breath and doesn't want to blurt it out considering that he was just there and maybe listening to their conversations but they have the right to know everything because after all it is important because it might ruin their plan.

'I'll talk all of it later but for now you two should get some rest because it will be a lot of work tomorrow," he said as he took a stand from his seat and walk to where Samuel's direction and he was sure that he was not in sleep yet and he had to talk to him urgently because maybe he could still divert what was running through his mind.

Meanwhile Samuel's hand grip into a fist as he remembered all of those he had with him died on the spot. Even though it was not his fault of what had literally happened to them and he was not expecting that thing to happen he couldn't still stop blaming himself for that. Tears escape from his eyes as he also remembered the Vice President who was now abducted by him and he had already thinking of how he could somehow saves her but he was also thinking about his three companions. Knowing that the twins were eager to get out of the building since they have been stranded on there for how many days that have turned into months which feels like it had been ages and he understands that. It is not their duty anymore to have and to be concern about other people because it was already his. He couldn't anymore hear what they are talking about and he was sure they were talking about of how they will be able to escape or what and he couldn't even take a stand to blurt it out to them that he will not be cooperating with them but he believes that Hiro is going to have a great plan and they will be able to get out. It was also in his knowledge about the bombs that was planted in every corner of the building and that would be a great impact since that was Hiro was told and he believes him. He doesn't know how he will start his plan on saving the Vice President but he will soon when gets on his track.

He couldn't help but to also blame himself for trusting so much of General Arthur that day considering that he was the one who was sending those secret files to the Prime Minister of Japan of which he believes that it had it sent to Dr. Vega because the real Prime Minister was just sitting next to him since he was his well-trusted secretary. General Arthur had a thick face of telling him that everything that he had planned and was planning will not be great as he thinks as it is and had him advise of some other things which he didn't even comply and maybe he had it planned as well because all of those he had plan was ruined because something was getting interrupted to his way which he didn't what and why. No one could even answer and after that he believes that it was all because of General Arthur, and he promised that the first thing that he would do when he gets out is he will be sending him to death or maybe in lethal injection. He will surely watch him slowly dead after that.

He heard some footsteps which looks like it was coming to his direction which he immediately knows who it was. He had seen earlier because apparently his eyes was visible or as transparent as a glass and every one could read what was running through his mind, he was called a transparent man.

He sighs and took a sit at the edge of his sleeping bag and that is also when Hiro took a sit next to him but they are not facing each other. It was like their back was facing into each other.

'Mr. President," Hiro called which makes him smile because it was like he was mocking him but he closes his eyes and calm himself.

'I told you not to address me that way," he stated and a small laugh escapes from his lips which makes him slowly shook his head and brush his hair with his fingers as he watch the twin taking a sip of their coffee and he couldn't help but to admire them as a grown up man then.

Hiro massage his temples and said, 'I know what you are thinking."

Samuel chuckled and answered, 'It is not surprising anymore." As soon as he said those words he literally knows where they are heading into now and he must face it because he couldn't run into that again and he will not risk them because of his will be soon reckless action.

'I know you are thinking of saving her right now," he said and he nodded his head. 'Once we get out of here and I am sure that Dr. Vega will secure her and then we could get some help for her please do not risk your life again. There is no assurance of you getting alive in the hands of him," he stated and he understands that.

He already gets it and slowly having a plan sketching into his mind. Once the three of them gets outside and since Dr. Vega thinks he was already dead due to the bombs that he had fired on them and he had seen Hiro making them an invisible suits then maybe just maybe he could use that to save the Vice President. He could somehow see a ray of hope in there and it was like a sign for him to do that because if he have not did that to his comrades then maybe he could do that to his Vice President.

Tears escapes from his eyes which he had immediately wipes it away using the back of his hand because it was already near for them getting their escape and he could already got to see his family. Yet he also remembers her of also having her family too outside and was still waiting for her to come back and what would be the people think of him of he had survived in there then how come it was only him? Yes, he admits he still thinks of what people will say to him and he couldn't stop that from thinking because his conscience couldn't even let him sleep which he doesn't even know why because from the first place he was also there.

'I know there is not even a slightest chance of getting us out of here but I'll think of a way and maybe if those bombs will explode then it would be very easy for us considering that Dr. Vega and Seiji will firstly get to their subjects because that will be their number one to be concerned into. And once the three of you will be out there then you are already buying me time to search for her and Dr. Vega thinks that I am already dead then he would not suspect anything from out there that there should be four of us," he said and Samuel nodded his head completely making sense but what if Dr. Vega already knows everything?

Hiro was not being negative he was just thinking of anything possibilities because it better to be that way to become fully prepared.

'I see you have planned it already—you have sketched out of a plan of yours then," he uttered under his breath completely losing a hope to divert his mind to be with them in the end but maybe right then he had completely decided for his own and no one could ever stops him from then.

Samuel could sense pain in the tone of his voice as he said those words and even though he couldn't see his face to see his reaction is that he would be still forever grateful to him for saving his life across those dangerous boundaries and maybe right now he was getting it regret that he was the one whom he saved.

'I am sorry . . . I know I have also planned and told you that I would help no matter what in getting out of here but as soon as I have saw the chopper she was into and those people who was with her were also put into death I couldn't stop thinking about saving her, even just her that I save out of her and she also have a family of her waiting outside. But I do not ask you to help me because I know you have twins in there that was also now relying on you and I believe that you are their father so go on and save them okay? Please save them and not to worry about me because in the end this is my final decision and no one could stop me or divert my decision because it is what it is," he said and Hiro nodded his head and had nothing to say anymore to him because he seems to have already completely set up his mind and maybe tomorrow morning he would at least change his mind once he had step outside but nevertheless if he will still say no then he would respect him.

'Do you want to have a coffee with me because maybe it would be our last time to have one?" he said which makes Samuel smile that didn't even quite reached his eyes because it was like they were already bidding their farewell.

Samuel nodded his head and take a stand from hid feet and walked to where also the twins are who was now looking at them. He pulled a chair and took a sit while Hiro was preparing a coffee for the two of them.

On the other hand Gunner seems like he already know what Hiro and Samuel was talking about and he understands what Samuel was feeling because he had that feeling also when he was outside learning that there are young men had gone missing and he believes that it was the WIC company and as much as he wanted to save those innocent people he doesn't even know how not unless it was then his twin brother was put to danger.

Hiro places the cup of coffee in the table which was in front of Samuel and he gladly takes it to his mouth even though it was pretty smoking hot. He will surely misses this three people who was now in front of him even though they have just a small amount of time being together he feels like he had already known them for a long time. And he knows that they are a good people . . . deep in his heart he knows that. He could already tell if the person was god or bad which he wishes he had learned it earlier so that he could tell if General Arthur and Seiji are trustworthy.

Samuel took a deep breath and sighs as he put back his cup to the saucer and looked at the twins who were watching Samuel taking his cup of coffee. He couldn't help but to laugh causing the three of them to look into his direction with twitched eyebrows.

"You shouldn't be staring at people like that," he said which makes Gunner arched his right eye brow and Slasher to laugh as he taps the shoulder of Gunner.

'It is kind of out habit when a person we know is like giving us already a farewell," Slasher said which makes Gunner nodded his head totally agree to what his twin had stated.

'You are making it sound like I am dying," Samuel stated as he puts down his cup to the saucer.

'Well, are you not?" Gunner asked with such an innocent face because he was just like that . . . he was direct to the point man sometimes he was called insensitive but it was just him and maybe he had it inherited to Hiro which the reason why he was smiling like a sheep.

'I am going to survive this."
