Chapter 88

Gunner is still in daze that his email had bear a fruit that someone had read it and now they came to the rescue. But what he doesn't know is that they are all in danger.

'Are you okay?" Slasher asked making his consciousness back.

Gunner smiled as he walks near his direction, 'Yes, of c-course," he stuttered and he hated himself for stuttering in front of him and even though he doesn't say it to him he knew what he was feeling right now.

'You're not alright. Please, tell me the truth because we can't work this out if you are not telling me the truth," Slasher said and knowing him, Gunner, had no choice but to tell what is bothering and what's keeping him worried.

Slasher was kind of feeling guilty because of what he just said because he was the one who be telling him the whole truth. He should be the one who is applying to it.

Gunner sighed and finally give up, 'I am just worried that if ever they are here to rescue us all and from that kind of shake maybe they are in great danger," he commented and Slasher nodded his head completely understands his brother's feeling and it was strange for him that he doesn't feel worried about those persons at all because what he should be worried about is themselves.

'What we should be worried about is us, Gunner," he said and Gunner realizes that he was right. He shouldn't be distracted because in the end it is just the both of them to depend on.

Gunner took a deep breath and kneeled down to the floor for Slasher to get to his back. He had made a criss-cross in his back and he will pull the tie in his front for Slasher to grip on it. He slowly gets into his back and tries not being as heavy as he could.

'Relax your body," Gunner said as soon he ties up the sheet and shakes himself slowly to see if it was tied enough. He doesn't want Slasher to feel that he was a burden because he couldn't walk enough because of his condition.

Slasher finally relaxes his body and somehow pities himself for not being able to walk by himself. He wanted to tear up but it seems like he have no more tears anymore to shed. He couldn't believe that it was Gunner who was saving him now because he should be the one who should be doing that.

'Let's go?" he said and Slasher nodded his head.

Gunner grips the doorknob when he already learned that the coast was clear. One thing is for sure for them and that is not to let their guard down.



While they are walking their way Gunner decided not to run because he is also saving enough energy for it. A first thing first is that they should get to find the hideout immediately and Slasher was the one who will be leading into it.

'Where to?" Gunner asked as they are already half way where their room is.

'Just straight ahead," he replied and Gunner didn't felt any fear in his system unlike before that he was all alone facing the depth of hell but right now he had his twin brother with him.

The air was somewhat dusty which was different and the roof was falling with dust and it looks like an earthquake but from what Slasher had said it wasn't an earthquake.

'What do you think happened to him?" Slasher asked referring to Ross.

'I don't know even though it is hard for me to say it I just couldn't accept the truth," he said and he heard Slasher took a deep breath and sigh.

Gunner knows that it was just a small time that they have spent into each other but he already treat Ross as a family and in fact that they are cousins he already had best plans for the three of them if they ever gets out of the building.

He still couldn't get over of what he had dreamt. He hates it the most when someone appeared in his dream with that kind of message and also the reason why he didn't believe that his twin brother is dead because he haven't got such dream like that so he knows that Slasher was still alive.

'Take a left route here," Slasher, suddenly said which Gunner responds to it quickly.



They were walking in errands just as Gunner was saving his energy not to get fatigue right away. In his current situation even though he had eaten not as much and have himself rest he was not still in his good condition that it was like the building was swallowing all of his energy running through him.

Gunner could feel that Slasher was busy trailing his eyes in every corner that we passed by but he also felt something different that he couldn't even pull it out. There was something that Slasher not telling him yet even though his actions are different upon showing it to him and how he talks to him but those eyes never tell a lie. His eyes speak different just as his. And even though Slasher was good at hiding his feelings and hiding lies beneath his system but they are twins and he could read him. He was just waiting for him to open up but if he couldn't take it any longer he would frank him to tell him the truth. He was not a fool not to feel it and he wasn't a kid anymore.

Technically they are just in the same age what different between them is just minutes. Gunner was also feeling mad at him because they promised to each other that they would tell everything to each other. Tell the truth and nothing but the truth yet he didn't expected for Slasher to just keep it for himself. Later on he will talk to him he just got have the perfect timing for it.
