Chapter 125

Hiro stopped from what he was doing when he heard something which was like a sound of helicopters coming through their way. He was about to have a small snack of crackers when he heard that which he had hurriedly wake Gunner and Slasher while Samuel on the other hand was already in the window looking outside.

Hiro walked to Gunner's direction and shake him which cause him to groan from his sleep and slowly opens his eyes. 'Wake up, we have company," he said which makes him jolted from his bed and stand and he pointed through the window and now he heard the noises that was coming from the outside.

Gunner run to where his twin brother is having his sleep and he firstly checked if he was already okay and his fever had already go down and he was thankful enough that he was indeed okay. He gently shakes him up and he opens his eyes and their eyes meet. He sorts to smile and help him get to sit at the edge of the bed.

'We have company," he said which makes Slasher looked at Hiro who already looking at him and Samuel who was busy looking through the window.

Slasher finally heard the noises which he believes that those are helicopters so he stands from his seat and Gunner assisted him in walking.



'I believe those are my rescuers," Samuel said as tears run down to his cheeks and he just hopes that they have never have get into where they are now because there is danger that awaits them.

Samuel had now staring at the illusion that he was once there and if it is not for Hiro who have saved him maybe he was soon dead and now he was looking at the choppers who are just flying in circle and he knows what is going on in there. What they see is that they were alone in the sky flying and thunderstorms were striking through them.



Hiro couldn't help but to put sympathy to Samuel because he was like witnessing again the time of his death but it was sad to say that he could only save him and not the others because that is all that he got and doing that thing was dangerous and would cost life and it was all thanks to the invisible sheet that he has so that no one would ever see them especially Dr. Vega.



'Is the Vice President also there?" Slasher couldn't help but to ask causing Samuel to look at him and nodded his head slowly because that is what they have planned from the very beginning that if ever they have lost contact they will come follow them and considering that it had been days after they have lost the contact.



He knows that she is somehow in there one of those choppers. He again looked at the window and he was surprised when a chopper was going down gently to the ground that well in fact the pilots could only see just darkness. Hiro looked through the window and notice two men approaching which was particularly Dr. Vega and Seiji who have this kind of ridiculous rifle but that ridiculous thing and when Vega was also holding the same armor is dangerous and he could tell that there is no such thing good that will come out into that rifle. Then it hit him because when they were young he used to tell him how he was fond of bullets and the bullets that he wanted to have as his necklace would be the dumdum bullets which makes him laugh that time because it sounds dumb and he had no knowledge before it but he had it researched and he learned that it was the deadliest bullet that was ever produced and was already banned in the world.

'That thing is dangerous," her muttered under his breath but the three have heard it clearly which caught Samuel's attention.

His eyes were almost sorry of what will happens next and doesn't want to watch what will happen down there and he was sure that the chopper that is slowly going down is where the Vice President is because he just knew it, she was a smart woman even though she was named as a weak person but nobody knows how smart and keen she was.



'What is in there?" Samuel couldn't help but to ask him which makes him took a deep breath and looked at him directly to his eyes.



'The bullet in that rifle if I am not mistaken is an expanding bullet which is the dumdum bullet," he said which makes him closes his ask and placed his palm to his face and groaned. He was getting a flushed of redness and veins were starting to show in his neck and so does into his head.



'I thought those bullets were already banned?" he asked which he also thought so too.



'Those bullets are banned but Dr. Vega could recreate it. It is not that impossible for him and maybe he had it more upgraded from the original one. Nothing is impossible to him," Gunner said which was completely true.



Samuel couldn't help but to look outside once again and the chopper had now landed and from where their direction is they could easily see who will be going out and he was shock when someone opens the door and goes out. It was Lieutenant Michael, the person whom he had trust the most when it comes to soldiers because he was also a witnessed when he was just starting and Edison was a great friend of him which means if he was here then Edison, Brixton and Cormac were also one of those choppers. He wanted to shout but he had to stopped himself from doing it because it will also lead them to danger and knowing that they don't even have a fight to that two even though they are at least four of them because if they ever come out those mirrors will reflect them and from what Hiro had told them maybe it would take their souls and would end up being Dr. Vega's subject and become one of his soldiers the astrals.



He saw Seiji already aiming his rifle into him and had already pulled the trigger and they could even hear the noise as the bullet comes out and Michael was thrown with a sudden big impact from the rifle and with that kind of impact Samuel couldn't help but to think that he was already dead.

Hiro wanted to wipe those smiles away from the face of Seiji and Dr. Vega as he see them like a lunatic demons that lurking around in the world and he couldn't help to believe that even the gods are letting those kind of people to be living until now and spreading evilness in the world. They have killed innocent people—they killed a hundreds of people and have made the fool out of them especially Seiji who was the Prime Minister of Japan and making fool the citizens living in the country.

Slasher gestured the two to look outside and so they did because Seiji had again aimed and pulled a trigger at least four times and it echoes until into their direction. They saw head that was lying now at the entrance of the chopper and blood were coming out of them and dripping to the ground and Hiro couldn't help but to look at the two who mercilessly kill people like they were just an animal.

Hiro saw Gunner getting furious and his eyes were locked into Dr. Vega and at the same time to Seiji causing his hands formed into a fist causing his knuckles turns to white and veins were showing up.



Yes, Hiro knew what they are feeling right now and all of them are in mutual because they were just there standing and looking at the outside helpless and couldn't even take an action because they knew once they get out it was all over because they don't have anything but themselves. The two was powerful considering that the two was a maniac and psychopath so no one would ever survive in that kind of thinking. They are not going to fight with a normal person like them instead they are fighting to a person that they couldn't even read their tactics and moves because they are unpredictable.



Samuel cursed under his breath causing them to look at his direction and looked to where he was also looking and there they saw a woman who seems have fainted or was unconscious and she was carried by Dr. Vega who was smiling as he takes her inside of the building.



From what they know it was the Vice President of the United States and as they looked at Samuel they already know the answer.



'Where is he going to take her?" he asked which also makes them question themselves because it was the first time they have seen that but not for Hiro because Hiro knows everything about Vega.



'It was his queen," Hiro said and they couldn't help but to look at his direction with so many questions in their eyes.





'The Vice President, Sheila, was his ex-girlfriend or maybe not but they have a past. She was the woman that he always shared to me whenever we get to talk few years back ago. They have a past and believe it or not Vega had loved her and so does her but Vega left her with his own reasons but he did never forget about her. From the tradition of his family they should be searching for a woman to bear their child to continue their legacy and she was the one that he chooses and for an unknown reason and maybe she had already learned to loved him which she is, she had committed to him and he just left her for how many years until he came back and found out that she had already have her own family," he said which was a complete shock between all of them but Samuel snorted and his eyes were just mocking as he looked at Hiro.



"Is that a romance?" Their love story? That man is an animal, I don't believe she loved him," he mocked, and Hiro simply shrugged his shoulders and smiled.

"Well, you never know what would happen to that kind of love," he replied, tilting his head. "But I believe in that, and now we'll see," he said, and Samuel, like the two others, couldn't believe it.



'That two had a past a deep past that you wouldn't even got to imagine especially her," he said which had caught all of their attention.



Hiro couldn't help but to sit at the chair that near to him and completely forgotten what was going on outside and he could tell that he was somehow in gossips which was an ironic thing.



'Sheila had this long-term boyfriend which had cheated on her and the worst part was the person he had cheated on is her best of friend. So one night Vega had come to her condominium and had witnessed her was being miserable. He told me that she was the one who had wished that kind of wish and he just grant her wishes because he thought it would make her happy but she did not but in the end she fully accepted it. As to what we know she was studying law, that was her course and she was afraid that night because Vega had murdered the two in front of her and what was the worst part is that she have eaten the flesh of her ex-boyfriend's and her best friend which he had cooked as a steak," he said and Gunner and Slasher couldn't take it anymore that they wanted to throw up as they imagined it.



While Samuel on the other hand couldn't believe what he was hearing and he couldn't imagine how she had handle that—that well in fact she looks like a fragile woman.
