Chapter 68
A splash of water poured on General Arthur's face, jolting him awake from his deep sleep.
He groaned as he tried to catch his breath from the water that had entered to his nose and into his ears. His eyes were in sore as he tried his best to open them wide and looked at the people who surround him but what got his attention is the pair of the eyes that Joemar is giving him.
He immediately went wild from his seat and only then did he know that he was tied up. Arthur looked every person in the room with hatred in his eyes as he began shouting at them. 'What are you doing? I am your General! Let me get out of this shit!" he exclaimed as he strangled to his chair but no one dare to touch and make noise.
They just let him went wild and just looked at him with no emotion in their eyes and that is when the door opened and all of their eyes were on the person who slowly entered the room… it was the President.
For an unknown reason and even though he wanted to act normal it was like his stomach had starting to growl in fear and he was shivering and chattering as he trailed his eyes to the President whose his eyes were also fixed on him as he pulled a chair in front of him and took a seat.
'General Arthur," he called in a low tone of voice as he crossed his legs and laid his back into the chair. 'Care to sing all of the lyrics of your made up song?" he sternly commented as he look at him straightly into his eyes.
'Mr. President it is not what you think please I've been framed by him!" he exclaimed as he pointed his eyes to Joemar and spit which just made Joemar arched his brow and smiled but it disappear in an instant when Mr. President look at him.
General Arthur noticed something different from him that he wanted to say it to the President but in his state he was sure that no one would ever believe him but he promised to himself that he will find rotten garbage in Joemar's life and he will took revenge.
'I have heard enough of your lies General, don't degrade yourself anymore especially to these persons who are in front of you. We have heard enough, General, so what is best for you now is to tell the truth and nothing but the truth. You are all screwed up. I have trusted you my life, our life, General. How could you do such a cruel thing huh, General?" he commented as he gets his cigar and lit it up.
He doesn't care anymore about the etiquette of him being a President. He was in a lot of stress these past few days and now he is facing such a betrayal.
The General took a deep breath of surrendering himself because there is no escape anymore. He will surrender himself for now but he will make sure to get more even to that nerd young kind. He promised himself that he will get back into him.
'I admit I have cooperated to Dr. Vega for how many years from now. And I have been sending him the secret data's here to them. They know everything and you name-' he was cut off by his words when a loud slap hit his cheeks which is now flushing in redness.
He touched the part of where he was slapped and a bitter laugh came out of his mouth. 'I don't know that you have a kind of a woman slap Mr. President," he smiled as a blood trail at the edge of his lips.
The President just look at him with furious eyes he just couldn't stand the person whom he designated as a General was a monster. A monster who is slowly eating them and to think that it had been years of sharing their data's and network and that is maybe why sometimes their market fluctuates and that is the answer of how he had become so rich in an instant. Even though he knows that he had a lot of debt under his name. Yes, they are rich but he was not as rich as today that a week will passed by then he got another brand new car, lot, resort, expansion of branches of his wife's business or house. It wasn't his business at all and he was somehow proud and happy of his state but lately it had been some kind of strange but he ignored it because from the first place he had nothing to do with it. Yet now he is in front of him confessing such a cruel truth. He was a murderous person. And if he was only thinking of the safety of his family then that was a foolish reason that he couldn't accept coming from his mouth but because he was only doing it for himself and nothing more.
He was gripping to where the power is. He was taken in by money and power. Yes he may put it because of his family but do they know where that money came from?
The President couldn't even imagine where that bloody money came from that he doesn't want to know. But as to what he had seen and as to what he will know from the General he was ready to face what was really going on.
He was sure that that money was came from the young boys who had been a captive and had been experimented like an animal. And he was sure that there is a person who is sustaining the hell out of him. An image came into an abrupt flashing into his mind. Images of that slimy man who is recording himself to the video and also Gunner who is showing every person inside trapped and being a subject of Project Wilson in the name of Dr. Vega.
